Enforcing Obamunism
Remember the "truth squads" formed to intimidate those who criticize the Moonbat Messiah? Left-wing abuse of authority by law enforcement officials in the Show Me state continues.
According to this AP article the government of the state of Missouri has issued a report "informing" state police that people with third party bumper stickers on their cars or who believe the NAFTA superhighway is an attempt create a North American Union are subversive members of paramilitary militias and potential terrorists.
The Missouri Information Analysis Center (a division of the state police) has compiled an enemies list of warning signs for state police officers, signs that are supposed to help them determine potential terrorists. Such signs include Ron Paul bumper stickers, or "Right to Carry" handgun stickers (I have to wonder: does it include Support Your Local Police stickers, too?) and our friendly state troopers are warned to proceed with extreme caution against such radicals.
Don't believe me? See for yourself. (pdf-sorry.)
Who is being targeted in this report? The state police are warned that Christians, "sovereign citizens", those opposed to abortion, tax revisionists, and anti-illegal immigrant advocates are potential would-be terrorists.
If the authorities aren't up to the job of keeping counterrevolutionaries in line, Organizing for America might come into play.
Obama describes OFA as a "grass-roots movement" but OFA is a "project" of the Democratic National Committee.
As Politico reported, OFA will take the 10 million person database built up by the Obama campaign "to mobilize support for the president's legislative agenda."
A visit to the OFA website reveals that supporters are not simply asked to sign up, they are asked to take a pledge. A pledge to support — not the flag, not the constitution, not the country, not even the Democratic party, but Obama and his "bold plan." … Those who take the pledge are asked to "talk with people about the President's plan" and to "ask them to sign their names to the pledge" in support of Obama's policies.
America has no precedents for OFA, but other countries do.
Did Mitch Stewart, youthful director of OFA, who asks Obama's acolytes to organize "neighborhood by neighborhood" study anything at school about Mao's "Red Guards?
How about Fidel Castro's "widespread system of neighborhood informers"?
Or Hugo Chavez's use of "neighborhood committees"?
Change has come to America, all right. We are in the early stages of a socialist dictatorship.

On tips from Wiggins, Rich P, and Gregory of Yardale.

At one time i believed that Alex Jones was just another nut...now that we're seeing this happening i don't of him as being as much of a nut anymore.
Plus, with China and Russia giving us warnings about where our nation is headed, it's clear they have the worst intentions for this country.

Wouldn't the Missouri thing constitute a conspiracy of governmental agents to inhibit the civil liberties of a targeted group by harassment during the exercise of their guaranteed rights? What is the difference between this and telling law enforcement officials to be on the lookout for young black male 'thugs'.? Harass them hoping they just go away.
Posted by: IOpian at March 18, 2009 1:01 PM
IOpian, you know the answer to that - as long as it's not minorities being targeted then it's okay. We 'know' it's only bigotted, homophobic, white males that are evil and must be supressed if the rest of the world is to be successful.
This is just payback for the hundreds of years of suppression by The Man.
And, of course, it's Christianity that teaches them to be that way so its got to go as well or the unicorns won't come back.

Title 18, Section 242, biotches!
I wonder if defending myself against an LEO trying to commit a federal felony against my by infringing my free speech is a justifiable homicide?
Posted by: Scaramouche at March 18, 2009 1:30 PM
Chuck, thanks for reminding me of my white male conservative bigoted station in life. Guess I did get a little uppity there didn't I. My bad. I best get back to work so others don't have to.

I say we go out and buy a flag and bumper stickers and dare them to pull us over and ask me questions.
There is enough of us that we could overwhelm them. We do outnumber these numbskulls.

This is truly frightening if true.
I thought the left was against profiling? Oh, that's right, only if you're a favored minority.
Posted by: cubedweller at March 18, 2009 1:49 PM
Wouldn't this constitute "profiling"? I thought "profiling" was wrong. Ask the "Flying Imams" about profiling.
I thought it was wrong to make assumptions about an "American" based on outward appearance. Ask the illegal alien lobby, CAIR, or the ACLU.

Mao, Castro, Chavez? Yep, all a propos. But this, and the "Civilian Defense Corps" that Obambi is now organizing and funding, most closely resemble the cult of personality surrounding two other lovely figures in history, to wit: Josef Dshugashvilli (pardon the spelling), who took the name "Stalin," or Man of Steel, and most appropriately of all, the wonderful Adolf Hitler, with his Oath of Loyalty to his person individually, not to the nation, the state, the whatever (every good little German to think "What would the Fuehrer do?" or "What would the Fuehrer want?" instead of what's the best thing for the country - the "Fuehrer Prinzip").
So Obambi wants his own Sturm Abteilung, it would appear, doubtless swearing a blood oath to Chancellor Hit ..., er, President Obama individually, arm extended, palm flat. Who needs the National Guard when you've got a ready-made SA to step in and help after a natural disaster (or to slaughter the peons out there protesting at one of the "Tea Party" anti-confiscatory taxation rallys)?
Seems truly weird, doesn't it? Naw, could never happen here (while we watch it happening right before our very eyes)! Seig, Heil! Seig, Heil! Seig, Heil! Worship the Messiah, or die . . .

Well now we can all be part of the opressed driving class. You know, "DWB" - Driving While Black. Now we can be "DWR" Driving While Republican; "DWL" Driving While Libertarian" DW2C" Driving while supporting the second amendment of the constitution.

I didn't see any directive to harass in that document, just an indication that such persons should be approached with caution because they might become violent.
Come on, you guys are the last people who would say that the police should be equal to everyone.

Dearest Anonymous,
You really don't see anything wrong with this picture? This is not an isolated incedent in a microcosm of our society. I hate to refer to "the big picture", but I guess that is what I'm trying to do.
This development, in conjunction with the Organization for America, and ACORN's silliness, is beginning to look like the very things that the other posters are talking about.
You really don't have any creeping feeling going up your spine about this stuff?
I envy you...

The sad part is that white conservative gun nuts tend to be the most repectful of all people to police and seem to be who want to be cops themselves. Something tells me that is wasn't state cops that came up with that but rather a bureauceat with a political agenda appointed by the liberal Governer.
Posted by: Andrew at March 19, 2009 5:21 AM
Another sad thing is that these dangerous white conservative gun nuts probably also are the types to have "Justice for Danny Faulkner" bumper stickers while its liberals that support Mumia Abu-Jamal. Please google those names if you don't know the story.
Posted by: Andrew at March 19, 2009 5:28 AM
Ron Paul bumper stickers are still available. Although I would prefer a nice Reagan one myself.

It sure sounds tempting to engage in our 2nd Amendment rights when these drones come knocking on our doors Saturday, but I think I have a better solution for this event when they come up to your front porch like deranged Jehovas' Witnesses.
Lemme know what ya think.

"You really don't have any creeping feeling going up your spine about this stuff?"
Nope! I think you guys are racist ideologues who are taking differences in opinion and some run-of-the-mill corruption and politicking and then screaming that the sky is falling.
Posted by: Anonymous at March 19, 2009 10:28 PM
Anon.: Looks like you've never read a word of genuine history (not the revisionist liberal crap), unless of course, you're a drone who's all for this kind of cultist mentality (and I use that word loosely). Highly recommended: any WWII history by John Toland, and Ian Kershaw's "Hitler" (2 vol.'s, "Hubris" and "Nemesis"), published in the early 90's.
Read Kershaw and then tell us what you think of Obambi's Sturm Abteilung [er, "Civilian Defense Corps"].
