Another Peace Protest Turns Violent

As noted earlier, last weekend saw countermoonbattery protests in Orlando, Lexington, Raleigh, and Ridgefield, Connecticut. Peaceniks held some protests too, including one in their cultural capital San Franfreakshow. You'll never guess which degenerated into violence:

A thankfully pink-slipped 3rd-grade teacher led the mob in this inspirational chant:

Jail the rich, bail out the poor, stop the foreclosures, stop the war.

Speaking of communism, Code Pink was also on hand, passing out "Make out, not war" stickers. As Gateway Pundit notes, Code Pink cofounder Jodie Evans was one of Obama's top bundlers.

Typically of leftist rallies, capitalism could not be suppressed:

Bruce Yurgil, a cartoonist from San Rafael, was trying to unload 80 homemade T-shirts showing former President George W. Bush's brain spilling from his head. The T-shirts were marked down half-price, to $10.
"It's no fun being a cartoonist these days," he said. "The only person I can make fun of anymore is Rush Limbaugh."

Even four-legged animals joined in the moonbattery:

A black-and-white dog named Olive attempted to carry a sign reading "Stop U.S. Aid to Israel" in her teeth — and when she wasn't carrying the sign, she was chewing on it. "She's definitely anti-war," said her owner, Christina Susana.

Trumpeter Arthur Holden of the Musicians Action Group told a reporter:

I'm waiting for the apocalypse.

Hold on, Arthur. With progressives running the country, you won't have to wait long.

On a tip from Burning Hot.

ANSWER throws another wingding. The printed signs and the stylized language on them are utterly diagnostic.

Ahhh. Some are upset about lack of media coverage.
http://counterpunch.com/walsh03162009.html They're blaming the "respectable" left and... Obama!

"So the question really is, Which side are you on? That of the Obamanation and the Democrat Party version of war and empire? Or on the side of public, mass opposition to the war? I hope that as many as possible choose the latter course – in D.C., L.A or S.F."

If Olive is so anti-war, why is she destroying her protest sign?

Looks like the perfect place to drop a BLU-82... assuming we withdraw the police first.
