$1,000,000 Insurance Required for Gun Owners
Yet another insidious attack on our crucial right to bear arms comes from Illinois, the political sewers of which produced our current president, where State Rep. Kenneth Dunkin has proposed an amendment that reads as follows:
Amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act. Provides that any person who owns a firearm in this State shall maintain a policy of liability insurance in the amount of at least $1,000,000 specifically covering any damages resulting from negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person. Provides that a person shall be deemed the owner of a firearm after the firearm is lost or stolen until such loss or theft is reported to the police department or sheriff of the jurisdiction in which the owner resides. Provides that the Department of State Police shall revoke and seize a Firearm Owner's Identification Card previously issued under this Act if the Department finds that the person to whom such card was issued possesses or acquires a firearm and does not submit evidence to the Department of State Police that he or she has been issued in his or her name a liability insurance policy in the amount of at least $1,000,000 specifically covering any damages resulting from negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person. Effective January 1, 2010.
That $1,000,000 insurance policy will be all the more expensive, considering you will be held responsible for any damage done with your stolen gun before you notice it's gone, no matter how obviously innocent you may be.
As with attempts to drive up the cost of ammo, this suggests that maybe the Second Amendment is okay with our liberal rulers for now — so long as only the rich can afford to exercise it.
On a tip from J. Hat tip: Know the Lies.

Report them all lost or stolen.
Then report that it's been found.
Repeat and repeat and repeat until the government gets overwhelmed with the cost of paperwork.

This idea comes from another post.
report all your wepons (guns) stolen. If a perp requires eradication, suggest to the authorities it was probably the same person who stole your gun in the first place. Could work.

If a perp requires eradication, just make sure he's all the way inside. Nobody has to know.

obliterate all the numbers on your guns - report them stolen - DO NOT report it to your insurance agencies (fraudulent) - but once the numbers are obliterated they essentially DO NOT exist anymore - advice from a retired police officer many years ago who we bought a weapon from. just sayin.

Hoosiers should brace yourselves for an outflux of refugees from the People's Republic of Illinois.

Another thought occurs: Are the gang-bangers on the south side of Chicago going to be worried about weather their AK's are properly insured?

I wonder how much campaign funds he recieved for insurance companies too along with the anti-gun groups.

If free speech means pornography is protected speech, and free speech means taxpayers must fund obscene art, then the Second Amendment must mean I can own any gun I want, and tax dollars must buy me guns and ammo.

How hard is it ?!?!?!?!
"...shall not be infringed."
But that would require some reading and comprehension.

Nancz: falsely reporting your guns as stolen to the police is usually a crime, too - you can't knowingly file a false report to the police any more than you can do the same to your insurance company.

Coming up within a year and a half just imagine what things will be like if Obama gets to create his Civilian Defense Corp that his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel was caught in an interview about.
They could be the ones coming to your door to confiscate which means we cannot under any circumstances allow Obama to create his own police force. It will indeed be a Second American Revolution. Google that for so much info that you'll get sick and scared at the same time - 'Second American Revolution Countdown'.
Just remember tell everyone NOW to exercise their Constitutional right to bear arms and NEVER give that right up or allow confiscations. Shoot first or very possibly your families next place to live is in a camp and an oven. What are you going to do about it without your gun? Threaten them?
