I couldn't hear it over the sound of my supper hitting the toilet bowl.

Thanks for that visual ipecac. I'm trying to cut down on what I eat anyway.

My food isn't as good the second time around.

Posted by: Scaramouche at February 18, 2009 8:18 PM

Thanks for the post, I hadn't seen that. All in all I'd say it was well done.

Posted by: peacenik at February 18, 2009 8:24 PM

My food was so good it came up and took a bow.

What utter, pandering, smarmy dreck.

That is to say if complete and total crap can be 'well done'.

Whatever happened to seperation of church and state?

Posted by: J at February 18, 2009 8:39 PM

Okay, call me insane, but I like the song. If you close your eyes, it's all good.

Dang, has Macy Gray put on thirty pounds?

Posted by: Two Dogs at February 18, 2009 8:40 PM

Okay so why should Dave Stewart and Neil Young give a rat's rear end about Barack Obama--one's a Brit and the other's a Canadian. They're not even US citizens!

Why don't these non-American types STFU about how to run our country!!

Posted by: mustafa p at February 18, 2009 8:49 PM

Almost lost me at Jason Alexander, but couldn't make it past Barry Manilow.

The Obamaniacs are absolutely deluded. I'm worried about after the high wears off...

Posted by: Henry at February 18, 2009 8:50 PM

Nice music.
Very difficult watching folks apparently praying to PBO. Seems a bit crass, if not outrageous, to be praying to a politician as though he is a prophet from God, which he is NOT.
All PBO is today -- an oath-breaker. My American prayer is that the rest of you stop being fooled by this oath-breaker.

Posted by: SCADA_Guy at February 18, 2009 8:57 PM

It's everywhere, this Obama-psychosis.

I am in Ireland, and tonight I attended a church-concert. The guest performer was from Chicago, and he delighted in telling the crowd " Obama means every word", " He is a dream maker...." and generally transformed what was meant to be a friggen musical concert into a Barack Obama love fest. I kept waiting for the top of the Church to open and lightening bolts to strike us all dead.
Yes: Catholic Church----and adoration for the abortion king going on unabated!

Talk about puke.

Of course all the sheep bleated their approval.

Wtf is wrong with people????????????????

Posted by: Anonymous at February 18, 2009 8:58 PM

You have got to be kidding! This is nothing but idol worship!

I got all the way to :18

Maybe I'll try again but I just don't have the stamina right now.

Posted by: Anonymous at February 18, 2009 10:56 PM

I made it to 3:29...and I was eating! Hehe.

However, I now hate Barry Manilow, and I've loved him with a fierce and abiding love for over THIRTY YEARS. No matter what anyone said about him, I defended him. He can eat sh** now. Forest Whitaker needs to fix his eye, and Jason Alexander just lost my respect. The rest, except for Whoopi, I don't even know who in hell they are. Buncha idiots I guess.

Posted by: Anniee451 at February 18, 2009 11:06 PM

I didn't make it all the way through. The stupid looks on the faces are total turn-off.

Posted by: Cherie at February 19, 2009 12:15 AM

To whom is their "American prayer"? I guess Forrest
Whittaker's is to Xinu or whatever weird alien
Scientologists worship but what about those other
washed-up has-been celebrities? Joan Baez? Cindy
Lauper? Dave Stewart? Barry Manilow!!!????!!!

Their prayers for a successful comeback haven't
panned out too well.

Posted by: whatdafuq at February 19, 2009 12:37 AM

Posted by: Anonymous at February 19, 2009 3:41 AM

Ask yourselves a question? What are all these brainwashed idiots going to do when they realize this Tin God, is full of hot air, and the Country tanks.

When they have no choice but to see him for the fraud and conman he really is.

I am curious......

So Obama will take us to the promised land? Thats not change that any rational person can believe. Its a fairy tale.

A better song than this was "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour...

Look into my eyes, what do you see?
Cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
Ive been everything you want to be
Im the cult of personality
Like mussolini and kennedy
Im the cult of personality
Cult of personality
Cult of personality

Neon lights, a nobel prize
The mirror speaks, the reflection lies
You dont have to follow me
Only you can set me free
I sell the things you need to be
Im the smiling face on your t.v.
Im the cult of personality
I exploit you still you love me

I tell you one and one makes three
Im the cult of personality
Like joseph stalin and gandi
Im the cult of personality
Cult of personality
Cult of personality

Neon lights a nobel prize
A leader speaks, that leader dies
You dont have to follow me
Only you can set you free

You gave me fortune
You gave me fame
You gave me power in your gods name
Im every person you need to be
Im the cult of personality
Look into my eyes, what do you see?
Cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
Ive been everything you want to be
Im the cult of personality
Like mussolini and kennedy

I made it all the way through this...umm... piece, and I like others noticed first off that there was non-americans singing a song about their "American Prayer". What, because they had success here, means their American by association.

In any case, isn't it sort of rude to assume that this is "Our American Prayer". Sorry, but it wasn't my prayer. I'm a registered Dem and I couldn't muster up enough faith in the chosen one. This is my nightmare. I've been trying to be optomistic about this whole thing. Hoping that maybe it won't turn out as bad as I thought, but so far that hasn't been the case. That optomism is fading fast.

Finally, I like how all the images and video are in black and white. Like they're all historic depictions. The only thing historic in it was King. Most of it happened in the last 6 months.

Lame!

There was an ancient author that wrote that when he was traveling the most primitive areas he visited the people always made their chiefs into Gods. The more primitive the people the more prone they were to elevate their chief to god-like status. That's the primitive mentality. I think when you strip all the rationalizing away from Leftist thinking all you have left is this very same primitive mentality. They'll never give up the idea of Barry the god no matter what. They are barbarians.

Posted by: Kevin R at February 19, 2009 5:57 AM

Wow, thats creepy. Reminds me of that church scene in Beneath the Planet of the Apes where the mutants are singing to and worshipping a nuclear weapon. Considering the Obaminator has control of the worlds most powerful nuclear arsenal:

"The heavens declare the glory of the bomb and the Lord showth His handiwork. This sound goeth our unto all the land and His light unto the end of the world. He decendth from the uttermost part of heaven and nothing is hid from the heat thereof. There is neither speech nor language but His voice is heard among them. Praise Him, praise Him. He is our strength and our Redeemer. Glory be unto the bomb and the holy fallout as it was in the beginning, end and ever was the world without end. Amen, amen. Oh, mighty and everlasting bomb who came down among us to lighten our darkness. Oh, instrument of God, grant us thy peace. Glory to the bomb, who destroyed all men and created angels. I reveal my inmost self unto my God. All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things white and wonderful - the good bomb made us all. He gave us eyes to see with and lips that we might tell. All great and mighty. May the blessing of the bomb and the fellowship of the holy fallout descend on us all. Amen."

Jimminy frigging cricket...Where's the effin' brain bleach? Another good song would be "Everybody's Fool" by Evanescence.

"Perfect by nature...bow down and stare in wonder..."

Posted by: Brooke at February 19, 2009 6:09 AM

FreedomNow,
man, that song was prescient, wasn't it? The lyrics fit to a tee.

I read all the comments and declined to watch the video. All the posters did my dirty work for me. Thanks! I'll keep breakfast down now.

Speaking of which, lots of new posters today. Traffic up, Van?

Posted by: Karin at February 19, 2009 6:37 AM

I actually made it all the way thru to the end - stopped actually WATCHING the video at about :30, but the music itself is pretty good. Sad that the video is full of D-list libtards trying to revitalize their lame careers with this stupid piece o' sh!t. Hey Hollyweird - try praying to our savior Jesus Christ instead of PBO - you might actually get something positive out of it instead of debt debt debt!

BTW, wasn't MLK a Republican??? And they have a clip of him in a worship Obambi video?? Oh, the irony!!!

Posted by: Joycer at February 19, 2009 6:56 AM

"If you get to the top of the mountain,
Will you tell me what you see."

I vaguely remember a similar lyric from a song a used to sing as a kid--something about a bear going over the mountain. He just did it to see what he could see, to see what he could see. I believe he just saw another mountain.

I admit, I've been a Barry Manilow fan for years--I'm just a softy by nature I guess. Now, it's just going to be harder to admit that to myself and others, and will probably harder to listen to him at all.

Posted by: catholicdude at February 19, 2009 7:02 AM

What do these people know of prayer? Most of them are allied with an ideoligy that attacks, denegrates and belittles religion in general and Christianity specifically.

Karin, traffic has been going up since Chairman Zero's coronation. I expect it to keep going up for the next four years, or until the government closes the site down.

Posted by: Van Helsing at February 19, 2009 1:50 PM

That was the most pious, smug, self-conscious load of Stock-Dance reference themes I've ever forced myself to listen to.
Fitting that idiots Barry Manelow and Joan Baez made appearances.
And wow...the finale guitar riffs Stewart laid down on that Les Paul during the coda...I got a thrill up my leg.

But hey, coming up with a new religion must be very serious stuff, so I have to commend these folks for their total and complete lack of realty check.

Well, then there's at least one positive from Obama's election!

Apparently the new crop of moonbat trolls are too dumb to realise that site traffic doesn't discriminate between legitimate posters and, well, moonbat trolls. If only their garbled understanding of economics didn't extend beyond inadvertantly giving Moonbattery more traffic ...

Hope? How about we all HOPE he doesn't bury the next six generations of Americans in debt. AND let's HOPE he doesn't try a second stab at his Transportation Secretary's desire to put a tracking chip in every American Citizen's car, truck and motorcycle. President for barely a month and already he's showing his true self. He's already sent more troops to war. Where's the "CHANGE"?

Posted by: Ed Smith, Palm Springs, CA at February 21, 2009 7:48 PM

HOPE? How about we HOPE Obama doesn't bury the next several generations of Americans in DEBT. And how about we HOPE Obama doesn't make another attempt at sticking us with his Transportation Secretary's plot to stick a tracking chip into every American citizen's car, truck and motorcycle. President for barely a month and he's already showing his true self. AND he's already sent MORE Americans to war in the middle east. Is THAT the "CHANGE" he was talking about?

Posted by: Anonymous at February 21, 2009 7:57 PM

Post civil war, and during the civil rights struggle of the 20th century, as a whole, it was THE REPUBLICANS who fought for civil rights, while the DEMOCRATS, as a whole, OPPOSED them. The truth is, it was the democrats who were "pro-slavery". Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr. and Jackie Robinson, all Republicans. Pass it on. Few people have any idea.

Also to add, I'm gonna post a challenge of that on mine.
