Sean Penn Declares That Fox News Anchors Are Failed Actors Who Envy Him
In a recent nauseatingly obsequious interview with PBS propagandist Tavis Smiley, radical left actor Sean "Spicoli" Penn discussed his role in "Milk," a movie devoted to promoting homosexual depravity, the primary cause of the AIDS epidemic. Spicoli announced that the criticism he gets tends
to be from failed actors. Like the Fox anchors who are just clearly very envious.
Smiley, who had just slathered Penn with elaborate praise for his "embrace of humanity," responded:
That's about as straightforward as it comes.
That was your tax dollar at work, paying an idiot to stroke the bloated ego of a paranoid psychotic. No doubt Spicoli has a Bill O'Reilly doll at home that he tortures with cigarettes, to go with his Ann Coulter doll.

On a tip from J.

SEAN PENN sucks completly and his putrid movies are a absolute waste better to just boycott his crappy movies

Great analysis there, Spur.
My two cents:
(a) Does ANYone care what Sean Penn has to say? Based on...? He's a whiny, third rate actor. Some qualifications!
(b) Travis Smiley is a simpering left-lib racist (using Democrat parameters that were leveled at conservatives). He's biased and, frankly, not too bright. Inarticulate, too. That he is all excited to give a hand-job to Sean Penn is no surprise. Penn hates America, conservatives, Christians and anything else that isn't left of Stalin.
(c) Our tax dollars are going to stop flowing soon. I believe that, as Ayn Rand states in "Atlas Shrugged", the producers are going to "turn off the motor of the world" and let the looters fend for themselves.

Sean Penn is an excellent actor - and a guy's guy. VH is a pussy.

Faux News sucks!

I don't think I have ever heard Tavis Smiley string three sentences together without the word "black" appearing in one of them.
As for Sean Penn, I'll let the moron speak for himself. Anyone with a single firing neuron in his brain knows the man is a moron.

Fox news anchors are failed actors??
What does that say about MSNBC anchors, PBS anchors, etc., etc?
Penn is apparently completely unaware of how big a part luck plays in an actor's career. There are plenty of good actors. Penn was in the right place at the right time when he got his lucky break in Fast Times At Ridgemont High.
And anyone calling someone else a "pussy" should take a close look at Penn's picture in the article... or maybe that picture is what ran a tingle up the leg of "Anonymous." Too bad about Prop 8, eh?

Lemme guess... the anons up there are Fez? VH, you gotta get a cap on the trolls, man.

Like I said a few threads back on Moonbattery, Spicoli is an actor who wishes he was a journalist.
Seriously, the guy is always going around to various areas of conflict or where news is occurring, with his carefully-cultivated overgrown hair and stubble, wearing a trenchcoat, "reporting" back stuff - the guy wishes he was Tintin.
It's him who wishes he was a journalist, not Fox journalists who wish they were him. Classic leftard projection.

I'm no fan of Sean Penn. Seems like a cheap shot at fox news anchors, Travis Smiley might reconsider what he responded with, but then doing an interview like that is tough.
I agree, Sean Penn is not where I go to get my info. But I think Harvey Milk is a character worth exploring.
But VH saying "a movie devoted to promoting homosexual depravity, the primary cause of the AIDS epidemic." Well that sounds a little harsh.
I wonder if VH means to say that homosexual depravity is the primary cause of the aids epidemic, because that would be pathetically false.
I thought the movie was about Harvey Milk.

Mandible, are you referring to "Herge's Adventures of Tintin"? Haven't seen them cartoons since I was a preteen (now 57)!!
Fine Ahht- if Milk had not been a homosexual, there would have been no movie- not even a notion of one.
It seems that the older this poor guy Penn gets, the more of a dysfunctional teenager he becomes...

Yes, Fine 'Murdering Babies is Okay With Me' Ahht,I am sure that is true in the liberal fantasy land that you inhabit but homosexual behavior is the cause of the spread of HIV/AIDS. Not just in the USA but in the Third World.
I know that your liberal spin-meisters tell you that it is disease that affects 'everyone' but most of that group of 'everyone' are homosexuals and bisexual deviants.
As an example the 2008 UNAIDS report indicates that the growing incidence of HIV/AIDS in the Caribbean alone is being fuelled by men having sex with men.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

"Sean Penn is [...] a guy's guy."
Posted by: Anonymous at February 8, 2009 4:17 PM
He sure is!
Ahem.
"James Franco stars with Sean Penn in the biopic Milk about gay activist Harvey Milk. In the film, James was supposed to just share a kiss with Sean. But, as a guy who wants to get deep, real deep, into a character, Sean Penn expanded the scene just a tad, according to Page Six:
"In the original script I read, there was only one real kissing scene," Franco tells next month's Elle. "A month after [director] Gus [Van Sant] asked me to do it, they sent me another script, and on Page 5 there was a full-on love scene. And I was like, 'Gus, what the heck?' He says, 'Well, it was Sean's idea.' "

Yes; the French "reporter" who goes around solving crimes and mysteries and having adventures (but never seeming to do any reporting) -- reminds me exactly of what Sean Penn is up to these days when he isn't pumping out dreary, pretentious political dramas.
Don't get me wrong, Tintin is great (sorta like the Simpsons in that they're good stories for kids but have humour adults can enjoy too) -- it's just a little odd to see a grown man who appears to want to be Tintin.

Are your obtuseness and apparent mental opacity a symptom of your moonbattery, or the cause?

I would remind Mr. Penn that his beloved CNN once hired Andrea Thompson, an actual (failed?) actress, as an on-air talent. So if Fox News is bad for hiring ex-actors (and there is no evidence that any of them are), then what does that make CNN?
