...and it's just happened. The Senate passed the Porkulus bill.

IF we make it to 2010 as a nation, there needs to be a political blood bath (metaphorically speaking) in congress.

Were all gonna be MILLIONAIRES

I know right! I'm super surprised that dude is just waving that kind of money around like that! Isn't he scared of getting robbed???!!!??!?! 250 MILLION he's got!!!!!111!

Sigh, wish I was that rich... :/

Yeah, that 350 million Zimbabwe dollars and a charged-up Starbucks gift card (in $US, of course!) will get you a cup of coffee and a donut.

My Dad brought back a bunch of Weimar marks from his time in Germany (WWII) -- several are in the 10 billion Deutschemark range, many more in the hundreds of millions -- all of them together might get you a loaf of stale pumpernickel in the late 1920's (well, at least we do have THAT to look forward to, once the Idiots in Congress [pardon the redundancy] are through with us).

I read a few months back that packets of local coffee beans were selling for $1.2 billion at Zimbabwean markets..

Most of the Zimbabwean shops are doing business in hard(er) currencies like US$, GBP, Rand, etc, whether or not they're authorized to.
