Yeah, that 350 million Zimbabwe dollars and a charged-up Starbucks gift card (in $US, of course!) will get you a cup of coffee and a donut.
My Dad brought back a bunch of Weimar marks from his time in Germany (WWII) -- several are in the 10 billion Deutschemark range, many more in the hundreds of millions -- all of them together might get you a loaf of stale pumpernickel in the late 1920's (well, at least we do have THAT to look forward to, once the Idiots in Congress [pardon the redundancy] are through with us).

Most of the Zimbabwean shops are doing business in hard(er) currencies like US$, GBP, Rand, etc, whether or not they're authorized to.
