ROTFLMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: TED at February 27, 2009 10:49 AM

Hey, did anyone hear Rush today about 12:55? A lady called in and her accountant advised her to adjust her W4 after our huge $13 tax cut comes in, because next year they're going to tax you on it! Talk about a sleight of hand! Taxing us on a tax cut! Scumbags, all of them. Especially the moonbat messiah, most vile, most foul.

Don't forget to pick up a bottle of GENUINE OBAMA BRAND SNAKE OIL when you visit the Cube!

Obama, keeping "true" to his word, is declaring an end to the Iraq mission and bringing home our soldiers! Now the catch: The "mission" is now redefined, and he is keeping 50,000 troops in Iraq.

If only W had been so clever with words. He could have said things like "It all depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is," and "I'm bringing the troops home. 140,000 are staying."

Is Biden’s “Test” on the Near Horizon Or Is That a North Korean Missile?

America’s new president may very soon be challenged with the “test” that VP Joe Biden said was imminent, before he was told to shut up.
North Korea has again been making noises about hurling a missile somewhere. The where doesn’t count for Kim il-Sung as much as the hurling since that act will prove the North Koreans are capable of hurling something aside from propaganda.

Here is a shot of the North Korean army marching in rigid formation in hopes of getting a meal at the end of their day, instead of having to forage and chew and digest the usual tree bark:

The U.S. is ready, willing and able to shoot down that missile, according to Admiral Timothy Keating, head of U.S. Pacific Commands. Without using the words, Keating said that it only remains for President Barack Hussein Obama to demonstrate that he has balls enough to issue the order: http://abcnews.go.com/International/story?id=6965611&page=1.

Therefore, the question is not as much can we do it as it is whether Obama has the testicular fortitude to do it. Surely, he would incur the wrath of George Soros and his leftist ilk if he elects to demonstrate America’s refusal to allow North Korea to intimidate and threaten South Korea, the rest of that region, and possibly our Left Coast.

Mindless and senseless pacifism, Neville Chamberlain’s policy of “peace [at any cost] in our time,” is a policy that always leads to war.

The maniacal Kim il-Sung is barely more than a pesky gnat and he and North Korea present a relatively insignificant threat to our mainland security. The true test will be of Obama’s mettle. Should he permit this missile launch without authorizing its immediate destruction, he will be sending a very clear signal that America has once again become the America of Jimmy Carter.

If that happens, hang onto your hats and search out those abandoned backyard bomb shelters. They just may become very useful, again.

Karin, I heard Rush as well. Her tax accountant said that they're not changing the tax tables, meaning that the tax rates are not going down. The $13 'rebate' is presumably to give people back some of what they'd get if they were to get a refund anyway, when they file in 2010. For those who would have to pay, they'd need to pay it all back again. Cynical bastard, Obama!

I checked with my payroll office and my paycheck won't be affected by this crap, thank goodness.

some food for thought, from Thomas Jefferson...

When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretence of taking care of them.

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks, and corporations that will grow up around the banks, will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.' (1802)

Thanks, maryhunter, let's keep this con-artist story viral! A lot of obamabots are enthralled with their fake $13.

mega, the Founding Fathers were so wise. I wonder what's become of this country. Their words ring so true today. The PatriotPost gives a good quote from the Dads each day. They're a good site to check out.

Don’t Blame Me! I Voted for the Other Guy! Part One–The Economy

As the true character and mission of Barack Hussein Obama and his already-tainted administration continue to unfold, his numbers are already slipping, although not nearly fast enough. Many people are still so enamored of who and what they think Obama is and what they want him to be that they are not yet capable of accepting the unforgiving reality.

With this president, it’s more important than is normally required to note what he does rather than simply hear what he says since those are often vastly different and at variance. Obama said quite a bit in the campaign, some of which was revelatory of his plans for the future of the country but most of which was veiled by a stark lack of detail and specificity.

Clouded by its confessed adulation of Obama and inspired by a hope it could believe in, for a change it craved, the liberal mainstream media let him get away with that shortage of specificity and, ignorant of his true designs, the public ate it up and swallowed it. There was little of substance to digest anyway and he was elected.

So much for what he said. Now, emerged from his protective, teflon-coated campaign cocoon, Obama is displaying his true colors and we can see some of what he is doing and, from both a conservative viewpoint and an American viewpoint, it’s not a pretty picture.

The Economy:

I think it was Albert Einstein who referred to economics as “the dismal science.” Extrapolated to the national economy, that description only becomes more dismal and funereal. The American economic leviathan has long been the most massive on the planet, founded on and fueled by our free enterprise, capitalistic system even though increasingly hobbled by government restrictions and regulations.

It is indeed in crisis today, not because of a flawed model but precisely because of unwarranted governmental interventions and mandates, especially with regard to the banking and lending sector. Federal, state and local governments, inspired by their quests for social justice and regardless of sound banking principles, required lenders to lend to virtually anyone, ignoring the fact that such practices would only work during good times. When bad times came, as they always do in our cyclical economy, it all hit the fan resulting in a domino collapse throughout the system.

Obama’s plan is essentially to spend our way to recovery, a pro-inflation Keynesian approach which ignores the other side of the Keynes coin, namely that during good times, like industrious little squirrels, we prepare for the bad. That never happened and Obama’s spending spree can only result in hyperinflation where government printing presses are set on overdrive.

The numbers are incredibly startling, from the massive bailouts to Obama’s budget for the next fiscal year, a whopping $3.6 trillion, much of which will be devoted to Obama’s pet social initiatives. In other words, taxpayer money will be funneled down a bottomless rathole at the bottom of which will be the likes of ACORN and other favorite leftist recipients.

The trouble is, other than those ratholes, continuing the public largesse at this rate has to end either, one, when the monies being funneled aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on or, two, when the ”contributors” finally rise up and scream in a tax revolt, “No mas!”

Despite what Obama would have us believe, since governments have no cash value of their own, ...

Kansas is going bankrupt and may issue "IOUs" for tax refund recipients, so naturally Obama wants to make the governor of Kansas the new HHS secretary.

Joe Arapaio for President!

Sheriff Joseph M. Arapaio hasn’t always been “America’s Toughest Sheriff,” although it sometimes seems that way. What he has also been is a U.S. Army M.P. in France, a cop on the beat on the mean streets of Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas, a federal narcotics agent, and a top D.E.A. official. But it has been as Arizona’s Maricopa County’s sheriff that he has earned his law enforcement notoriety.

He has to be proud to head the hit list of every criminal organization in the country as well as sitting atop the heap of every immigration and illegal alien group’s Most Wanted list. Of course, illegal aliens are criminals as well, by definition, so that may be somewhat redundant.

Joe is under fire again, as if he ever isn’t, for his policy of detaining illegal immigrants, aka illegal aliens, aka criminals: http://www.abc15.com/content/news/phoenixmetro/story/Protest-against-Sheriffs-immigration-policy-heats/Vyv7DAtHPEm7MOXPV9zIew.cspx.

It seems this particular brand of criminal is upset over Joe’s odd penchant for enforcing the law, a penchant not shared by such people as San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, also charged with that same legal responsibility which they choose to ignore in favor of declaring their cities free havens for said criminals.

Joe Arapaio doesn’t ignore the law, he enforces it, as is his responsibility. The law breakers, on the other hand, want him not to enforce it and showed up in Phoenix Saturday to protest against Sheriff Joe. Following that receation, one of their leaders, Salvador Reza, said in a press release, “We are excited to see such a strong and peaceful showing of opposition to the wrong-headed policies of Sheriff Joe Arpaio . . . 5,000 [media and police estimated the total to be 1,000] marched today to make sure that the abuses that we’ve suffered under for far too long move from the local to being dealt with on the national level as well.”

There are so many things wrong with that whole picture that it almost defies description. Illegal aliens march and protest? Illegal aliens attack an elected official’s enforcement of legal statutes as “wrong-headed?” Illegal aliens claim they are abused? Illegal aliens want to ensure their grievances are addressed locally and nationally?

Someone should buy Reza and his companeros a dictionary, have them look up the definition of “illegal,” and then remind them that they broke our laws by entering on our soil whether by swimming, wading, or trucking across the Rio Grande, by sailing in, or by flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor or Yuma or Prescott airports and then slithering off into America’s woodwork.

Someone should also remind them that had they committed their crime of illegal entry in other countries they may have been shot or, as in Mexico, detained in the unfriendly confines of a Mexican prison or, for the lucky ones, summarily deported.

I’m guessing any illegal alien would prefer,. . .
