Obama Takes Up Truth-Telling
Chairman Zero had some surprisingly truthful things to say on signing the Porkzilla "stimulus" package, which will condemn generations of Americans to poverty by advancing socialism and crushing our economy under a mountain of frivolous debt.
According to President Pencilneck, the bill will inflict "real and lasting change for generations to come." True enough, since the wealth and freedom that have characterized America up to now are in long-term jeopardy.
More ominously, he proclaimed that his signing this knife to the gut of our economic system "does mark the beginning of the end."
Unless he and the radicals running Congress are stopped soon, this statement will prove to be true for the last best hope of earth.
On a tip from Burning Hot.

At least he's being "honest" for once. Only one month into this disaster, and (to paraphrase Rush and the Great One) it's now obvious that Obambi is out for revenge (against "whitey," against anyone who works for a living, pays his/her taxes and plays by the rules, against even the idiot drones who elected this abomination -- hey, drones! You happy with the way things are going out there, dolts? You're soon to be bankrupt just like the rest of us - oh, ain't irony sweet!?!!).
Destroy the economy (to gain more control over material wealth), nationalize health-care (to control utterly the physical being of each and every American), ultimately -- destroy the United States of America and create the United Marxist/Leninist Socialist People's Autocracy of America from the ashes.
Screw you, Obambi, and all your little nit-wit friends. My newest bumper sticker: "The Democrat Party: A Cancer Upon America."

Lasting for sure...you know what they say. "Once you go socialist, you never go back".
Thanks a lot uninformed...and farewell capitalism....you've been too good to us.

This says a lot about Obama and his ilk: he only tells the truth by accident.

The peak values of the DJIA today is tracking the exact path of the DJIA values in March 1926.
With this kind of market decline, it won't matter to the economy whose in office: Republicans or Dims.

Van - you're a funny guy.

You really have to wonder when even Putin is openly warning Obama not to pursue Socialist policies. This guy is more of a Marxist than Marx was, just like his father(what a great guy). I know what Obeyme wrote (or Ayers wrote) in the 'Dreams Of My Father' book, but I don't think that represented his real dream. Daddy's real dream was to impregnate women on every continent and leave his bastard children for everyone else to bear the cost of raising. The nut, so to speak, doesn't fall too far from the tree.

I am just so sick of hearing conservatives talk about how Democrats are the welfare queens.I'm so sick of them acting like they're too proud to take help from the Federal Government, pretending they're so independent. Not that there aren't HUGE problems with the welfare system, the amount of welfare for individuals pales in comparison to the welfare passed from blue states to red.
http://www.taxfoundation.org/research/show/266.html
THis lists the amount of money paid TO the federal government as opposed to the amount received. The states that receive the most federal aid are ALL red states, with Mr Jindal's Louisiana as #4, receiving $1.78 from the government for every $1 in contributes to our economy.
The ten states which receive the LEAST in federal funding are ALL BLUE STATES. In fact, these states actually receive LESS in federal funding than what they put into the government.
In other words, blue states pay welfare to the red states. Blue states pay for red states to exist. Which is fine. I have no problem with that. It just makes me nuts when they turn around and call us the welfare party, and act like they're SO above welfare from the government when they already are WELFARE STATES.
So next time the conservatives start acting all high and mighty, acting like the stimulus is a hand out for welfare loving states, they should remember that they're already the beggars with their hats out, and we're the ones giving them our spare change.

Oh please -
If you read the actual report, you'll find that that the disparity in income taxes collected is a function of the progressive federal tax code, with higher wage earners being taxed at a higher rate and low income people paying virtually nothing. The other side of the equation is the relative populations and percentage of which are federal employees, receiving direct compensation or assistance from the federal government.
Since this is all per capita data, although it says that on a head for head basis, New Yorkers have more tax outflow than income, than does Alabama. It does not, however, indicate that Alabama receives more Federal dollars than does New York on the whole, because it doesn't.
That understood, the main problem that I have with your conclusions is that you seem to ignore the fact that there are Conservatives living in those blue states as well, paying extremely high taxes, and not liking it very much. In addition, the blue states are also home to plenty of low income folks who vote to keep those taxes in place.
What you've struck upon is not red/blue state issue at all, but the inherent unfairness of our tax code. It's really kind of idiotic to assume that loudest conservative voices come only from red states. I'm betting that there are more conservatives in New York, paying ridiculously high taxes, than there are in all of Louisiana. So to attempt segment this out by what each State receives in per capita federal tax dollars doesn't make any sense at all. Bobby Jindal doesn't like this asinine 'stimulus' bill - it doesn't matter what his per capita receipt of federal tax dollars was in 2005 - it's still a bad idea.

Mike B: Don't you know its bad form to trouble a leftist with actual analysis of economic data? Shame on you for scuttling that beautiful meme that 'Oh please' found on Kos and then took the trouble to present as his own economic research!

Hitler wrote in his book that he learned propaganda from the communists, the marxist mutt's ideological ancestors.
