Democrat Honor Roll
If you'd like to contact a politician, but don't have anything nasty to say, try dropping a friendly line to one of the 11 Democrats who put the country's future ahead of short-term political gain by bucking Nazi Pelousy, Chairman Zero, et al. and voting against Porkzilla:
Allen Boyd [D, FL]
Bobby Bright [D, AL]
Jim Cooper [D, TN]
Brad Ellsworth [D, IN]
Parker Griffith [D, AL]
Paul Kanjorski [D, PA]
Frank Kratovil [D, MD]
Walter Minnick [D, ID]
Collin Peterson [D, MN]
Heath Shuler [D, NC]
Gene Taylor [D, MS]
More than half are Blue Dogs. They might want to switch parties with certain Senate turncoats.

I don't think any of these 11 sacrificed any short-term political gain. Most, if not all of these dems went to Pelosi first to get permission to vote against the bill. As their votes were not needed, and they come from conservative districts where a "yes" vote could be a liability, they were allowed to vote no. Until they actually do switch parties, the presence of these "Blue Dogs" in the House facilitate Nancy Pelosi being Speaker, as well comittee chairs for Rangel, Frank, and Conyers.
On the other side, the Republican turncoats voted for this bill in direct defiance of party leadership in order to save their own skins with their more liberal constituents. These Rhinos are useless and I would hope the new RNC leadership remebers this when it comes time to hand out campaign cash.

I have no idea why those hags from Maine bother putting an R behind their names. It's not like it's winning them any votes, Mainers love Dems cause they love gummint checks and unions. If the enviromoonbats make them stop cutting down trees, that might change, however.
Beef, point well taken on the cash. We should get vocal about it to Steele.

The inexcusable part is that the 3 republican traitors give the Obamanation cover and the opportunity to call the bill bi-partisan.

I find nothing in the constitution that prescribes any of this action. Where is the Republican party leadership on this? WHY DON"T I find a statement from Steele? All I find is an editorial about old wine in new bottles. There's an old book addressing that very subject; And, all experience has shown, the old book is correct.
We need a Lincoln right now. It's time for Steele to crack the whip. Perhaps demand these traitors turn in their membership cards and affiliation, cutting them off from further funding. It's these types that have prevented many from contributing to the GOP since George the First began his reign after Ronaldus Maximus.
We can expect these acts of treason from Democrats, but not from Republican party: GOP is now the republic's main hope. If the image of the party is going to change, it has to change from the top down. It's leadership. It was RINOs that got us into the mess that we're in. Republicans need CHANGE also. We need Steele to be steel, not Stalin. We might already be getting one of those.
If Congress can't do it; The remaining hope lies with the Supreme Court. Recalling the last century's new Deal: History reveals how long it took, and how much could be reversed. We can't let that happen again. It's best stopped as a bill!
