Dead Rat Fashion

Just how depraved is the fashionable elite? This offers a clue:

A designer has unveiled a full face headdress made of real mice and rat carcasses on the fringes of London Fashion Week.
A model paraded up and down the catwalk in the headdress, which covered her whole face except her eyes — rat tails dangling down at the front and whiskers tickling her skin.
The creation was designed by French-born hairdresser and wigmaker Charlie Le Mindu, 22.
"I really like mice and rats. But everybody doesn't like them and I just wanted to show people it could be really beautiful," he told AFP after the show.
Asked if he was worried about how animal rights campaigners might react, he said: "It's better to make them [the rodents] beautiful than give them to the snakes."

Letting your pet snake eat: bad. Wearing dead rats on your face: good. This makes as much sense as anything else in the tasteless parody of reality moonbattery is sucking us into.

Beautiful, huh? Plus, it's shariah-compliant.

why not just stick your head in a full dumpster and see what you come out with!

A French-born hairdresser?

I don't know where to start...

What the hell...

Man, now THAT took some patience, skinning the little bastards, tanning them, sewing them to gether... shame it came out so ugly.

It may not be well understood by these sickos that rodents carry feces firmly embedded under the scaly keratinized cells of their tails.
Then again, it may be.

I was wondering if anyone would end up commenting here, because when I first saw it, words literally failed me. They still do.

Other than the fact that it's on her face, how is this any different from wearing a dead weasel around your neck?

Posted by: Alpha1 at February 26, 2009 12:03 PM

Hilarious.

I bet PETA's happy about that one.

Alpha1: You generally don't leave the head and tail skins on the dead "weasel" - it's not as readily identifiable as such.

That is one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. I'm with Karin, when I saw that words completely failed me. I sat here in rapt fascination, wondering what depraved mind ever dreamt up such a monstrous creation. I still, all these hours later, can't come up with anything better than "disgusting."

Wait and see when those jerks from PETA raise a ruckus and they get dizty dumb blond PAMELA ANDERSON and stupidhead ALEC BALDWIN to object knowing what a couple of brainless morons they are and wait until you see the write-ups in the various tabliods squealing like harpooned pigs

Thanks for ruining my lunch.

burka rodents?

Posted by: nancz at February 26, 2009 1:58 PM

That's what I thought as well. Anybody know whether or not Mo liked rats?

Is it any wonder that France is at the cutting edge of science and discovery? Oh, wait they're not!

Actually, I reckon that's a pretty fair artistic representation of the status of women under Islam.

*stunned silence*

Sick and Wrong was my first thought. After reading further I wonder if it isn't a violation of Snakes Rights and blatant racism against reptiles? Hard to top the fashion world when it comes to full on brain dead stupidity. Rats! I wish I was a better writer.
