Children Taught to Pray to Obama

In a brainwashing project that ought to tug on liberal heartstrings, schoolchildren have been encouraged to address prayers to Chairman Zero. A touching example:

I would appreciate it if you would try to make this a greener planet and try to bring home the troops and end the war. I am very luckey because I am not part of a military family, but it saddens me to hear about all the people who die in Iraque and know that somewhere In the world people are greiving over a lost family member.

It looks like our public schools are succeeding in their mission of cranking out a new generation of Democrats.

Here's one in the spirit of famous Obamamites Henrietta Hughes and Julio the Beggar:

Dear Mr. Obama. Please Make it rain candy!

Behind the project is the NEA, the bloated, hard left teachers union that can be sure the Moonbat Messiah will answer all its Marxist prayers.

USA Today could hardly contain its gushing tone in reporting this nauseating story, which triumphantly concludes:

Another child drew Obama as the "new sunrise of America." One made Earth and labeled it "Obamaland," and still another created the president's face as half dark and half light skin tones with the words: "United We Are One."
Sasha's drawing is an all-green globe. Her enthusiasm for Obama and his ability to get the job done speaks volumes: "I just think he's really, really awesome."

Helen Thomas wouldn't lay on her makeup this heavily.

Another Obamamite rolls down the NEA's assembly line.

On a tip from MP.

This is making me sick. The media is making me hostile with their leftist propaganda.

What a stupid looking kid!

Hail, Obama! Full of Crap
George Soros and Bill Ayers are with thee.
Blessed art thou among the Media,
And blessed is the fruit of your years studying Socialism and Chomsky.
Holy Obama, Community Organizer Extraordinaire,
Save us Americans who are clinging to our religion and guns,
Now and at the hour you destroy America. Amen.

President Barack HUSSEIN Obama, Who art in the Whitehouse,
Hallowed be Thy Chiseled Pecs in the morning sun.

Thy Marxist Kingdom come.

Thy Will be done, in America as it is in Cuba and Venezuela.

Give us this day our Soylent Green.

And forgive us the failure of many to worship you, as we forgive those who trespass against you - like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly.

And lead us not into temptations of Capitalism,
but deliver us from the evil Neocons.

Amen.

I can't help it...I feel sorry for them.

I don't believe in the idea of children being propagandized that way.

Posted by: hashfanatic at February 17, 2009 9:41 AM

I prefer to be optimistic and think that that kid was using that picture as a satire piece.

Posted by: Barrack "The Islamic Shock" Obama at February 17, 2009 9:48 AM

Wow...that is just Sick, no matter what yer politics be.
Reason #457 I don't want kids... If I do have one, it won't get within a mile of a public school.

Posted by: Brooke at February 17, 2009 9:58 AM

I feel bad for that dopey kid. Now people are going to be pinging candy off his head. If they use Jolly Ranchers they could seriously injure him.

Posted by: Anonymous at February 17, 2009 10:09 AM

Another child drew Obama as the "new sunrise of America."

No, junior, you got it wrong: It's "Sun of the Nations." Next time I want you to say it right, OK?

Posted by: Conservigilant at February 17, 2009 10:34 AM

What an ugly, ugly child. Product of two moonbats, and wears their same moonbat glasses. Am I cruel? Who cares. Even as a little kid, I knew that you should pray to nobody but God.

Posted by: Karin at February 17, 2009 11:36 AM

...and the dow just dropped another 300 points as of 10.30 a.m. Pacific time.

Every time the Messiah makes a move, we lose another trillion dollars in wealth. The stock market isn't politically correct. It speaks the truth in dollars and cents. Nancy Pelosi, Dirty Harry Reid and Mr. Messiah are just about poised to "spread the wealth around" down to zero.

Now everything I've worked my whole life for is gone up in smoke...and it only took three months.

Dear President Obama: may you and your socialist pals rot in hell.

Posted by: Montag (matt_ at February 17, 2009 11:41 AM

...and Karin, I'm with you. Don't feel bad for saying what is true. As bad as it sounds, I can spot a "green, progressive, liberal, inclusive, tolerant, vegan, etc. etc." person in two seconds just by the shoes, hair, clothes and (most of all) attitude.

This kids mother and father come straight out of that comic strip "Diversity Lane". He's never heard anything good about America until Obama. He things humans are bad for killing the planet. He only eats organic food. He thinks winning is bad. (Of course, mom and dad still drive a car, want money and DO a lot of those things, but they feel guilty about it and THAT MATTERS!)

God help us.

Posted by: Montag (matt) at February 17, 2009 11:56 AM

Well, you have to admit, if O could make it rain candy, that would be pretty cool....though I would prefer filet mignon.

However, regarding the kid in the first cited paragraph: how many 10 year-olds use the word "grieving"? He couldn't be merely parroting what an adult told him, could he?

Nah.

Posted by: GeronimoRumplestiltskin at February 17, 2009 12:11 PM

At least the kid has the right idea: if you're going to become a government drone, like all those who voted for the idiot who is now the President, at least ask him for something you really want (like candy, instead of pennies, from Heaven). The Obamanator, of course, won't help you get anything (he didn't do a damn thing for "poor" Henrietta -- he sluffed her off onto his staff, and it ends up a REPUBLICAN donated a house to her; turns out she's not exactly "poor" and "homeless," anyway, just picky on where she wants to live).

Drones of the world, unite behind the Messiah! He will take care of your every need (well, actually, no he won't, but at least he'll listen to us; well, actually, no he won't, some flunky from his "staff" will (sorta) listen, and they'll get you to someone, like the recent Republican, the capitalist, who can give you what you want)!

Play it right, conservatives (think Reagan all the way), and 2010 can be an enormous reversal of all this Marxist crap. Continue with this "moderate" (that is, Dhimmicrat) course, a la Specter, Collins & Snowe, and you're on the first big step to utter irrelevancy (you're damn close to that right now). Wake the hell up, Republican Party!

Posted by: jc14 at February 17, 2009 12:19 PM

And soon every school in america will place idols of OBAMASES THE GREAT in the calfateria and all kids will be reqiured to bow down and pay homage to the great one STUPID SCREWY LIBERALS

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at February 17, 2009 12:28 PM

I wonder what would happen if a kid said

Dear President Obama: I wish you be impeached so we can reverse our slide into a Marxist totalitarian state. Oh, and please make it rain cheeseburgers before you leave office, Im hungry.

Posted by: Anonymous at February 17, 2009 12:31 PM

I think that kid has been eating too many lead paintchips.

HASH, this is what you have been working for, whether you WANTED it, or not. We tried to warn you, you know.

But now that you recognise that there is a problem, there is hope.

God help the u.s. when christians are removed from the family photo.

there is a verse in the bible that speaks to there being a famine for THE WORD in the end of days.

God told hosea: "MY people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

Posted by: nancz at February 17, 2009 2:12 PM

Yes, I am sure all the child pictures of everyone who has posted look like models. Lighten up on the poor kid.

Children only see the overall picture of what their teachers/media tell them. Parents need to choose different schools or do their best to educate themselves AND their kids about personal responsibility, creating for yourself what you want, personally helping others out....etc. None of this should be the job of the goverment.

There were references to Obama being just like Kennedy at the inaguration.....Well, he sort of got it wrong. Kennedy said "Not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". Obama must have had the teleprompter turned upside down.

Posted by: Markman at February 17, 2009 2:13 PM

No, Fiberal, YOU go to Huffpo. I feel like staying here. You don't own this site. I don't feel like lightening up today, what with the Porkulus and the Dow and my nonexistent portfolio with money gone that I used to have and now really really need. Get bent.

Posted by: Karin at February 17, 2009 2:14 PM

That may just be a kid, but it's a kid that's going to get beat up a LOT.

Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at February 17, 2009 3:00 PM

I thought that liberals were opposed to prayer in school?

Oh, wait! I forgot.

Double standard.

Posted by: SK at February 17, 2009 3:22 PM

I think the teachers should concentrate on a spelling lesson instead of that crap.

Idiots.

This isn't prayer, this is WISHFUL THINKING. All these kids can understand is that the President has a lot of power and what they want. A lot of them don't have a realistic grasp of what is possible; at that age I wouldn't expect most of them to.

Posted by: Anonymous at February 17, 2009 5:43 PM

Right on, Karin. The point is this: that kid is obviously the product of a far left household (and school system).

If they want to be insulated from criticism, then they shouldn't have their kids make political statements and post them on the internet.

You can't say "look at my enlightened child who we're shaping for the future" and in the same breath say "don't you DARE comment on him!" Especially when his Messiah is costing us PERSONALLY all of our life savings.

Sorry Fiberal, you're wrong on this one. Yell at his parents.

Posted by: Anonymous at February 17, 2009 5:43 PM

There are those who would argue that prayer is wishful thinking. I am not one of them, however.

A lot of them don't have a realistic grasp of what is possible; at that age I wouldn't expect most of them to.

That's the majority of Obama voters.

Posted by: SK at February 17, 2009 6:18 PM

The kids parents are probibly vegan hippy freaks and doofusheaded tree huggers

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at February 17, 2009 7:32 PM

When Castro took power in Cuba the teachers would have the children pray to God to give them candy and of course they would not receive the candy. They would then pray to Castro for candy and they would get their candy. Coming soon to a public school near you.

Recently, working from home, I heard a high-pitched whine all morning. Subconsciously I attributed it to a power tool in the distance.

At noon, on going out to get the mail, I realized it wasn't a power tool, but a kid's voice. I then saw mom come out of a house a hundred yards away and sit on retaining wall, her head in her hands, followed by her daughter, who stood over her and repeatedly yelled, "NOW!" at the top of her lungs.

My wife and I presumed that there was something organically wrong with the child, brain damage or something, until we saw the Obama '08 sticker on the parents' car.

Long story short, it turns out that there's nothing wrong with the kid, except having liberal parents. And, of course, that's more than enough...

Posted by: Jay Guevara at February 17, 2009 9:02 PM

I forgot to mention the daughter looks to be about four or five. If one of my kids came after me (or my wife) to bellow "NOW!" at us, they'd better start running.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at February 17, 2009 9:05 PM

I'll give you that one...

I despise those hands-off hippie parents who don't teach their kids proper decorum.

Posted by: Anonymous at February 18, 2009 12:32 AM

This is just another example of what happens when adult idiocy melds the minds of innocent children.

Larry King said his unfortunate child "now wants to be black". That's clearly just because his kid sees Obama recieving endless praise from adults, with no factual information to base his popularity on, other than his skin color.
Kids look for the easiest way to get attention w/o absolutely no effort behind it. To A responsible, intelligent adult, this is absurd, but to a child, especially one who's been brainwashed by irresponsible adult moonbat parents and teachers, it's A realistic utopia.

It's child abuse to me, but if they would stay out of the voting booth, I wouldn't care.

I'm reminded of that movie "Europa, Europa" where
a bunch of Polish orphans are in a Bolshevik
re-education camp and one of the Poles says he
believes in God. The Russian camp leaders ridicule
him and tell him to pray to God to send candy from
the sky. The child, sullenly, prays for candy from
the sky but nothing happens. While this is going on
some other camp workers have gone on the roof with
candy. Now the camp leader says, "oh comrade Stalin
please send candy from the sky" and the workers on
the roof drop candy into the room.
