Brush With Doom

According to Rep Paul Kanjorski (D-PA), last September a run on money markets brought our economic system to within a few hours of absolute meltdown, which would have led to a global collapse within a day. At around 2:15, this video gets scary:

Bloomberg reports that something similar happened in Britain in October.

These days it's not easy to know what to believe, as Democrats attempt to panic the herd into submitting to the socialist power play currently underway in Washington. One thing is clear: we need to hold tight to our liberties, because economic chaos will increasingly be used as an excuse to snatch them away in the name of moonbat ideology that in the long run won't do us any more good than it did Russians.

We are all Socialists now. Isnt that special... sadly its true as far as the Government goes.

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tim-graham/2009/02/11/big-lie-newsweek-claims-cover-we-are-all-socialists-now

"As the news magazines decline and fall into snarky opinion journals, Newsweek this week has a cover titled "We Are All Socialists Now." They’re recalling Richard Nixon saying "We are all Keynesians now" in 1971. But conservatives uniformly would reply on a rebuttal cover, if there were one: "Speak for Yourself.""

Rep. Kanjorski was talking about the run on the money markets that Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and a few other extremely rich people made which nearly colapsed the economy and made it possible for the Charlatan-In-Chief to get elected.

"Liberty dies of the water from her own well -- free speech, poisoned by untruth" -- Herbert Hoover

Numerous articles at American Thinker address the 'Cloward/Piven Strategy' which was in play in September. One enlightening piece, 'Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis' by James Simpson (9/28/08) explains how this strategy seeks to end capitalism by overloading the system with overwhelming demands, thereby creating political and financial chaos and eventually economic collapse. The door is then opened for radical 'change' as an excuse to stave off the crisis/emergency.

The Simpson article explains how present-day issues such as the mortgage crisis, illegal immigration, organizations like ACORN, people such as Soros, Ayers, Alinsky and others, are used to set the stage for political takeover.

Does anyone need convincing that the September financial meltdown was not some accident of timing? These things, like the left's takeover of education and the media, are well-designed and well-executed plans that have the calculated goals of imposing socialism far and wide. It's damn clever stuff, and it shouldn't be viewed as mere conspiracy theory when the evidence is becoming clearer and clearer.

The common lefty may be a foolish utopian, but their puppeteers are extremely sly. I've always thought that the real philosophical intelligence is right of center, yet the leftist agenda has been unfolding before our eyes for decades and is now reaching its zenith with the new administration. If the best conservative minds can't counteract this radical push to the left, then we've not only lost the intellectual battle, we've probably lost the country.

I hate getting beat by lesser opponents, but they surely have the upper hand, having figured out how to use the freedoms of our own system to mutate a great nation into a worthless, Euro-style abstraction. We can't escape the demographics of progressive educational indoctrination that has fully taken root. Short of revolution or, God forbid, 9/11 X 100, how do we regain the numbers we need to save the country?

"We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America" -- (guess who, 10/31/08, University of Missouri, Columbia)
