Ten Tools of Countermoonbattery

If there's one page on the Web guaranteed to make moonbats' heads explode, it's The Ten Manliest Firearms at Arthur's Hall. Number One is the Barrett M82 .50 caliber rifle, which comes with an inspirational tale of countermoonbattery:

Ronnie Barrett is a true modern Viking. He hunts big game. He plays with guns. One day in the late 70s, he thought to himself, "Wouldn't it be cool if there was a RIFLE that fired the same .50 BMG cartridge as Saint John Browning's Heavy Machine Gun?" So he built it.

This did nothing to endear him to moonbats, who decided that a ban on assault weapons didn't go far enough.

So, even with a ban on "assault weapons" that included most self-loading rifles, including Barrett's M82 Light Fifty, the People's Republic of Kalifornija wanted more. They dragged one of his rifles from the LA SWAT armory and used it (Illegal for civilians to own, mind you), as a horrible example of weapons that Must Be Banned Lest They Pollute Our Precious, Bodily Fluids.

As usual, the moonbats got their ban.

A few weeks later, LA SWAT sent one of these rifles that they use for shooting fleeing mopeds back to Barrett for maintenance… and Ronnie sent it right back to them, untouched, contract cancelled, with polite instructions to stick it somewhere dark and smelly and ride it straight to hell. Not only that, he publicly and proudly announces in all his advertising that he WILL NOT sell to or deal with ANY government entity in communist third world Kali.

Barrett went on to redesign his gun for 25 mm — twice the size of .50 caliber.

On a tip from Viking04.

Ever heard of the .416 Barret? That's what happened when Cali banned the .50 BMG.

Cool list!

I happen to own two of the top ten "manliest guns". That Barrett .50 is at the top of my wish list... anyone wanna lend me 8 grand so I can get the semi-auto version?

Mosin-Nagant?...Swiss K31?...and no K98 Mauser? I don't think so.

What? No M1 Garand? The rifle that won WWII almost
single handedly and was praised by Patton himself.
I don't want to start a flame war, but I can live without the plastic fantastics. Give me cold blued metal anytime.

Don't worry, CDS and Hemlock, they posted a second list that includes both the K98 and the M1.
For my own two cents, if I'm shooting "tactical Tupperware" I prefer the Springfield XD to the Glock. Both, however, are suitable in the counter-moonbat role.

What?

This gun is capable of mowing down an entire army. Its not very portable but mounted in the back of a pickup truck it can really kick ass.

The Glock is a manly gun??? It is a piece of Tupperware made for women and children. The Walther PPK has more testosterone than that plastic toy!!!

I own MANY of the listed weapons and even if you aren't interested in guns read the descriptions in the link - I get the impression he has no love for moonbats, LOLOLOLOLOL!

(just a side note, I'm an "old guy" and I have been converted. Although it is very difficult for me to decide which one I like the best, GLOCK IS in my top FIVE.)

Top five that would include AR-15, M-14, Colt 1911, Glock and Barrett (still on wish list).
