Spicoli Resents Being Known as a Stooge
Even Sean Penn — aka Jeff Spicoli — seems to grasp that being known as a stooge for Marxists is not good:
JUST because Sean Penn likes to visit Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez and then writes nice things about them, doesn't mean he's "a stooge for left-wing dictatorships," as we called him on Sunday, his publicist, Mara Buxbaum, says. "Sean does not endorse dictators. Like him or not, Hugo Chavez is a democratically elected official." So was Hitler. "Sean is a champion of civil rights," Buxbaum says. Yet Penn defends the Castro regime, which has jailed and executed gays. Although Chavez has closed newspapers and TV stations, Penn said, "Chavez may not be a good man. But he may well be a great one." Buxbaum says, "You … may not always agree with Sean, who aggressively questions and challenges the status quo in ways that aren't always polite … But Sean … asks questions, and questions the answers he gets." Maybe he'd ask tougher questions of Castro and Chavez if he didn't have red stars in his eyes.
In all fairness, Penn is more than a stooge for left-wing dictators. He's also a stooge for the Islamofascist maniacs running Iran, which has helped expand his terrorist fan base.
Further, Penn is a great humanitarian, who helped rescue New Orleans after Katrina. Here he is bailing out the city:

But wait… that was his own miniature ship of fools he was bailing out.
Penn's frustration over being rightfully despised is likely to be bad news for his Ann Coulter doll, which he admits to sexually molesting with lit cigarettes.

he needs to stop acting like moe if he's tired of being known as a stooge.

Calling Sean Penn a stooge is a grave injustice to the memory of Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Howard, who spoofed dictators in such films as You Nazty Spy! and I'll Never Heil Again. People will be laughing at these films long after Penn's 'serious' works are gathering dust.

You're right, James, it is a terrible insult. God, Sean Penn is one ugly mug. What is it about moonbattery that turns people so hideous?
I hear he's in some pretty hot water with gays. The left will implode from their myriad contradictions. Ya know, I think that's what they all meant by "unity" and "coming together." They meant it for themselves ONLY, if just for one glorious day, Jan 20, 2009. To hell with anybody else NOT on the loony left.

Penn went nuts after Madonna dumped him. His only good role was Spicoli and hes sucked every since.
Penn thinks he can get back in the good graces of the fudge packers if he takes on gay roles like that Milk movie. Been out 2 months and is barely covering production costs.

Most of them are too stupid to know that Iran, Cuba and Venzuela oppresses and kills their fellow pole smokers. All they know is those countries hate America and especially George W Bush - the last real president of the United States.

There's no way that photo was taken in New Orleans. That water is way too clear.

>"...is a democratically elected official."
Another phrase that has become meaningless.
Penn was one of those "brave souls" who went to Iraq as human shields to protect schools and hospitals from the EEEVIL American AirForce who (SPIT!) "always" targets such places; but they ended up standing by government buildings, oil refineries, arms depots, ect.. I think Penn "guarded" the best hotel in Bagdad.

"Like him or not, Hugo Chavez is a democratically elected official." So was Hitler."
I do not support Chavez AT ALL, just getting that out of the way.
Hitler was not elected! In reality most Germans didn't even support him. He ran for president 2times and lost both times. I'm sick of this blatant disregard of history so many Americans have.

Hitler was elected VICE CHANCLER running with Bismark and became Chancler after Bismark's death.

You've gotta feel sorry for a man Penn's age who sits and "tortures" a doll made in the likeness of somebody he doesn't like. Virtually all of these Hollywood types live in a continual juvenile, self-absorbed fantasy world.

James, okay, we won't call Sean Penn a stooge...howzabout "boob"?

Sean Penn wants to be a journalist. The guy has untold millions of dollars, fame and fortune, and I have to admit (depite my dislike for him) that he is a damn good actor on his day. And yet he uses his spare time travelling the world in a trench coat with cultivated disheveled stubble, "bringing light" to the criminal injustices of imperialist AmeriKa and the truthy wisdom of unappreciated people's heroes like chavez and castro.
The guy wishes he worked for the New York Times. There's something really sad about that.

Thanks for showing that picture, Van. Brings back a lot of good and hilarious memories of how much Penn's obvious publicity stunt ended up backfiring on him.

You both might want to look at these:
How was Hitler able to become Chancellor in January 1933?
http://www.johndclare.net/Weimar7.htm
Franz von Papen (a friend of Hindenburg) was Chancellor, but he could not get enough support in the Reichstag. Hindenburg and von Papen were having to govern by emergency decree under Article 48 of the Constitution. They offered Hitler the post of vice-Chancellor if he promised to support them.
Hitler refused – he demanded to be made Chancellor. So Von Papen and Hindenburg took a risk. On 30 January 1933 Hindenburg made Hitler Chancellor. He thought he could control Hitler – how wrong he was.
In the end, Hitler did not TAKE power at all – he was given it.
From
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler
Knowing that it was not possible to form a stable government without Nazi support, Papen tried to persuade Hitler to become Vice-Chancellor and enter a new government with a parliamentary basis. Hitler, however, would settle for nothing less than the chancellorship. He put further pressure on Papen by entertaining parallel negotiations with the Centre Party, Papen's former party, which was bent on bringing down the renegade Papen. In both negotiations, Hitler demanded that he, as leader of the strongest party, must be Chancellor, but Hindenburg consistently refused to appoint the "Bohemian lance corporal" to the chancellorship.

Oddly, I find the term "stooge" appropriate...
When Moe, Larry & Curly appeared in Scotland, they had to change their name to "The Three Hoodges". Seems that in Scottish slang of the time, a 'stooge' was, um....
Well, in describing a homosexual 'union' today, we might refer to one party as the "pitcher", and the other as the "catcher". A stooge was the catcher, if you get my meaning.
Sean is mentally and emotionally (if not actually physically) just such a stooge for the tinpots he adores.
