Pepsi Degeneration
Pepsi's new logo and ad campaign may turn your stomach by overtly attempting to ride the wave of Obamania, but you can't say the company isn't sincere in its moonbattery. In case you've been lucky enough to miss the new commercials, Fox News reports:
Pepsi recently unveiled a new logo and ad campaign. But the refreshed insignia has caused a stir because some say the soft drink company is piggy-backing on President-elect Obama's success. Not only do the logos appear similar but one of Pepsi's new ads reportedly includes the word "hope" with the Pepsi logo in the middle — similar to placards used by the Obama campaign.
Pepsi backs up its self-consciously moonbatty image by giving lavishly to promote the homosexual agenda. Last fall it showered $500,000 upon PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), one of many militant organizations devoted to imposing homosexual depravity on mainstream American culture. Just as much went to the Human Rights Campaign, another belligerent sect of the in-your-face school of gay activism. The money was targeted toward promoting homosexuality in the workplace.
Pepsi's own corporate policy includes granting leave for sex change operations. Less benevolently, it also requires that all employees attend "sexual orientation" and "diversity training" brainwashing sessions regarding "gender identity/expression." If an evil government scientist ever finds a way to force people to like Boy George, Pepsi will apply it.
The company has even entered floats in the nauseating spectacles known as gay pride parades.
Unsurprisingly, people who believe that Pepsi's role is to manufacture soda, not turn the country into a San Francisco bathhouse, are signing boycott pledges.
On a tip from Varla.

I'll have a Coke to celebrate. I haven't bought pepsi products since they donated a small fortune
to Viet Nam for a celebration of 25 years since they "won" the war. Screw pepsi and everything connected with them. When I saw their stupid commercial, I almost gagged. The stuff is rotgut anyway.

about 3.5 years ago, the ceo (a hindu lady) of pepsi made a statement in front of a large crowd and essentially said, "think of the world as hands - the united states would represent the middle finger."
i love pepsi, but that pist me off and i buy as little pepsi and boycotted it for quite awhile.

Wasn't Pepsi also the outfit that some Indian (dot, not feather) CEO dissing the US several years ago, apparently oblivious to the fact that without us her lot would've been pulling rickshas in Calcutta for a bit less than millions of dollars a year?

While typing nanc's comment came up. I boycott Ganges-soda to this day. Deport the bitch, I say.

Im getting so sick and tired of hearing so much about this OBAMA idiot i mean they act like he is some freakin egyptian pharoh

Drink Dr Pepper - it's from a Nobama State (Texas) and it's advertised by conservatives like Kelsey Grammer.
Pesky Cola and Croke-a-cola can both go fly a dyke. Errr... kite... (he, he).

The Moonbats are now flexing their muscles in every arena.
"We WON, Goddamn it! We're ENTITLED to push gay ministers, Islam, wealth re-distribution, "tolerance", Global Climate Chaos and every other agenda we can think of because, well...DAMN IT, we WON! It's a CONSENSUS! The voters gave us A MANDATE!"
It's disgusting.

No Pepsi! Coke!
Jimbo's on the ball; Dr. Pepper is the way to roll!
Posted by: Henry at January 8, 2009 8:27 PM
I knew it.
I recently pointed out to my wife, who buys Pepsi, that their new logo looked suspiciously like Obullshite propaganda.
Who knows, maybe a massive boycott could lead to a softdrink bailout.

Along the same lines as over using Obamamainia in branding...
There is a new FORD commercial out for a Cross-Over vehicle that uses the word "change" constantly in the background, just a slight bit louder than the background music....
Same sh*t, different day.

I never liked Pepsi now i'm afraid to drink any unidentified cola product in fear that something might be in the carbonated water they use that would morph me into a full blown moonbat. Go Dr. Pepper!

Ditto nanc! Same here. That is the policy on all products in this house. No name brands except the very few we know are clean of all the sins of Liberalism, especially babykilling and butt fusion. Surprising how we don't miss many products and easily found substitutes. Saved a bunch of money too.
If my husband and his friends can give up their precious Coors Lite, which they now call Queers Lite, their wives and I will have NO PROBLEM giving up Peptic Cola.

Good. My softdrink of choice is Diet Dr. Pepper. Two-way winner, because that way, the blind man can't get my tax $$. Hands off, Mr. McGoo!
I once applied for a job at Pepsi. I'm so glad they didn't call, because I don't think I could stomach their little "seminars."

I don't drink soda (cola) except with rum in it.
No more pepsi.
Posted by: Thor at January 9, 2009 6:49 AM
Water, juice, and coffee for me thanks. I gave up soft drinks for health reasons years ago.
I didn't know Pepsi had a "Gobbldy Goop" for a CEO.

I have an idea for a new brand of soda called Obamasoda. The can is meticulous and beautiful looking; however, it is very hard to swallow.

I don't see a problem with the optimistic ads. I rather like them. Obama wasn't the first person to use the letter O to showcase a logo. But since people act like everything he says or does is so cutting edge, that news story doesn't surprise me. We are getting as bad as the Obama supporters, seeing ties to him in everything. It's just an advertising campaign.

fyi - middle finger blunder by pepsi official.
fugger. pardon my unladylike language.
Posted by: nanc at January 9, 2009 8:23 AM
What a second, what's wrong with Coors Lite?
Don't tell me they donated to fight Prop 8. It's the only light beer I can stomach.
Posted by: cowlove at January 9, 2009 9:08 AM
Never have liked pissy-cola myself, always prefered the real thing. I have a theory that the cool-aid the libs were swilling last year was really just flat pepsi. Ya know it would put a serious kink in someones 'greenie' agenda if someone were to publish a study on the amount of CO2 released when you open a can of pepsi vs. coke. hmmm, wonder if there is some grant money floating around out there....

Pepsi's old logo was ripped off from Studebaker. If you turn it 90 degrees counter clockwise, the wavy white stripe across the middle becomes the soft "S" for Studebaker. Look it up. http://www.conceptcarz.com/images/MakeEmblems/studebaker_smlogo.gif
I'll be a Coke drinker from now on.

I go to McDONALDS and at least they still serve COKE

All the top corporations and firms have diversity programs based on inborn sexual orientation - as they should.
Posted by: Anonymous at January 10, 2009 4:47 PM
Civil rights and respect for people born with an homosexual sexual orientation are HUMAN rights.
Stop bashing and lying about gays and sexual orientation and there would be no need for gay "activists".

Ummm...
Pepsi's old logo looked more like the Obama logo than their new logo. I'm not sure what you're looking at. When Obama released his logo way back in the summer of '06, my first thought was, "wow, that looks like the Pepsi logo".

I fucking hate moonbats and their inane political propaganda speeches.. furthermore, why won't these socially retarded baboons meander outside of their protected moonbat caves of like thought & lecture people who don't already believe their stupid shit? Fuck that stupid hindu cunt.
