Hey guys, I visited this site on November 5th and you were blaming the market downturn on Obama that day. So, since it's up today, that must be due to the "Obama effect" as well, right?!

Jackasses.

Here's one for you.

The current government of the United States is female. How do I know this? What else would you call something dominated by a pussy and two boobs?

(that's obama, reid and pelosi if you're slow on the uptake...)

Great to watch! Bush was so gracious and relaxed in Texas... really playing up his Texas-ness. Can't wait to read his book, I'm sure much will be revealed as was when Reagan's letters were published. For all Bush's faults, he did do a number of wonderful things for this country, with dignity, humility, and faith in God. No regrets that I voted for him twice.

Reasons Conservatives Are Glad BO Is President:

If the Liberals continue to say that "afirmative action" is still needed. they are just as much saying that OBAMA was elected as a TOKEN NEGRO instead of because he's the best man for the job.

Blacks can no longer say "the white man is keeping us down". BO has proved them wrong.

Liberals no longer have any reason to "feel guilty" for being the wrong skin color, they can now feel good about themselves.

Suck it up, losers! It's OVER!

Obama’s Gay Agenda

“President Barack H. Obama is poised to be the most pro-homosexual chief executive in history:” (http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=42233)

“While we have come a long way since the Stonewall riots in 1969, we still have a lot of work to do. Too often, the issue of LGBT rights is exploited by those seeking to divide us. But at its core, this issue is about who we are as Americans. It’s about whether this nation is going to live up to its founding promise of equality by treating all its citizens with dignity and respect.”– Barack Obama, June 1, 2007

Faithful to that promise of candidate Barack Obama, President Barack Hussein Obama has begun dismantling America’s social foundations with plans to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) as well as changing other established policies with regard to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered (LGBT) communities. These are outlined in a detailed posting on the White House website: http://www.whitehouse.gov/agenda/civil_rights/.

Headed with the above 2007 quotation by Obama, under the category, “Support for the LGBT Community,” the plan incorporates efforts to:

Expand Hate Crimes Statutes: . . . President Obama cosponsored legislation that would expand federal jurisdiction to include violent hate crimes perpetrated because of race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical disability. . .

Fight Workplace Discrimination: President Obama supports the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, and believes that our anti-discrimination employment laws should be expanded to include sexual orientation and gender identity. . .

Support Full Civil Unions and Federal Rights for LGBT Couples: President Obama supports full civil unions that give same-sex couples legal rights and privileges equal to those of married couples. Obama also believes we need to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act . . .

Oppose a Constitutional Ban on Same-Sex Marriage: President Obama...

I forgot one more reason:

Liberals will no longer be able to criticize america or the US government. If they do, they would be indirectly saying that a> Obama created or supported a bad policy; or b> Obama didn't fix an existing problem. Either way, such criticism would be RACIST!

Posted by: KHarn at January 21, 2009 6:45 PM

KHarn, I believe the proper spelling is "RAAAAACIST!", (with either a whining or shrieking inflection on the first syllable)

THE INAUGURATION PART IV: What You Won’t Read and See on the MSM

Before we’re all caught up in the heady thrill–and propaganda–of the inauguration and the new administration, some perspective is in order. I’ve seen and read articles that are so effusive over Obama and this Age of Change that I was beginning to wonder if I watched a different inauguration and whether all I know about the true Obama and his Obamaniacs was misconstrued.

Then I regained my senses and realize it is not. (See the 50 or 60 previous articles on him on this site.) I’ve seen the man–and he is just a mortal man, contrary to widely reported information–a man extolled for his countless virtues, his elegance, his unflappable demeanor, even for his handwriting skills by Wolf Blitzer.

However, behind the facade, behind that screen, is simply a man, a flawed man like all of us, and his true skills or lack thereof will be seen even on the world stage soon enough. As of now, barely 24 hours into his reign, he can only be judged by his administrative designations and by his executive orders which suggest he has not fully thought through his decisions, (Gitmo), but will follow through on his planned policies to make free and unfettered abortion the law of the land: http://www.lifenews.com/nat4559.html.

Considering the limitations imposed by a paltry day as opposed to the lengthy four which lie ahead, all we have with which to gain a measure of Obama, (aside from his recorded history, of course), is his friends and his supporters. If in any way we are known by the friends we keep, Obama’s friends give cause for trepidation.

One group of friends, (May we call them FOB for Friends of Barack?), was gathered on the Washington Mall as still-President George W. Bush arrived at the inauguration on Tuesday. I would hope that others in the horde of millions who attended the event were not nearly as disgracefully disrespectful as this contingent: http://www.wjno.com/cc-common/news/sections/newsarticle.html?feed=244038&article=4878923.

In the event that video is mysteriously removed from the website of WJNO.com, it depicts a group of blacks hooting, howling, and chanting derisively at Bush. Another video also captured the former president’s helicopter departure: http://www.mydd.com/story/2009/1/21/12149/1143.

But, okay, one or two malcontented groups do not an audience make. Then again, those are simply the only groups who have made it to the Big Time.

Another malcontent, ...

Posted by: Joe the Plumber at January 21, 2009 2:04 PM

Um.. You're projecting. Leftists are the ones who think claiming the booming economy of the last eight years was despite Bush, but the housing market downturn was because of Republicans "being in charge."

As for the Obama effect, how does the biggest inauguration day selloff in history strike you?

Jan 20: "The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 332.13, or 4.01%, to 7949.09, its lowest mark since Nov. 20 and its biggest drop since Dec. 1."

Jan 21: "The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 279.01 points, or 3.51%, to 8228.1, its biggest one-session gain since Dec. 16, and erasing much of the 332-point loss from the prior session. The Dow is still off 6.3% for 2009."

So the "Obama effect" is a net 50-point fall in the index over two days, and a net 6.3% drop in the index YTD?

If you want to be proud of that, go ahead.

Posted by: mandible claw at January 22, 2009 2:54 AM

Joe and all his Obot ilk will be slow to realize that the HOPE and CHANGE they voted for will end up being hope FOR change -- at least a little -- left in their pockets. Not a proud legacy.

Posted by: The MaryHunter at January 22, 2009 4:11 AM

Bush haters never address the issue that it wasnt until the Democrats took control of Congress 2 years ago that things went south in the last 12 month.

Of course in reality, the problem was more complicated than that in that the collapse would have happened anyway. Neither Democrats nor Bush nor Republicans wanted to end the high flying economy and real estate boom; some did but they were too few to matter and nobody listened to their warnings, Barney Frank chief among them who declared such people fear mongerers.

Fact is everyone was to blame from government, to banks who lent like crazy based on inflated home values to the average Joe who borrowed like crazy.

Of course to the lefties, its 100% Bush and the Republicans fault. Since the left controls 90% of the media thats the message most voters went to the polls with.

Just as FDRs new deal was a disaster (between 1933 and 1939 unemployment never fell much below 14% and spent most of its time near 20% despite millions of gubment jobs) Obamas spending spree is what some call "Bush on Steroids". Yep, thats the size of it. In fairness to Bush had the original plan of buying up toxic debt was implemented it may have worked, but once the sticky fingers of Congress got its hands on the money, it became nothing but a pig feeding trough.

Hey all you liberal trolls. Have you pledged allegiance to Obama:

Jackass Joe,
and now down 114 points. Yes, this is the Obama effect, because free markets don't like Marxism.

I was wondering where the Ugly Americans hang out. Good thing you people tend to stay away from civilization and don't like to travel ...you would just get in the way.

Posted by: Anonymous at January 22, 2009 7:46 AM

The term "Ugly American" comes from the novel of the same name. In it the title character (an ambasador) acted snotty because the people in the country he was assigned to didn't conform to American culture and standards. This is very much like the average LIBERAL who hates anyone who doesn't conform to LIBERAL culture and standards.

PS: How come you Liberals don't look at LA RAZA and call them "ugly MEXICANS"?

Posted by: KHarn at January 22, 2009 3:18 PM

Actually, KHarn, the ugly American was the hero of the book -- a homely engineer named Homer Atkins who developed small-scale technology for the rural people of a Southeast Asian nation. See
