Moonbattery on (surprise!) Campus. Valerie Richardson in the 1/5/09 Washington Times reported that the Univ. of Denver is abandoning its mascot, Denver Boone, a smiling cartoon character in a coonskin cap, because he’s not sufficiently diverse. Feel the moonbat drip: “…not an image that many of today’s women, persons of color, international students and faculty and others can relate to…” They responded to charges of being hypersensitively PC by saying “it’s not a matter of being politically incorrect when it’s truly something that offends people.” U of D calls themselves the Denver Pioneers, and that word has the moonbats in a snit, too. It’s apparently the newest dirty word.
Others in an outrage: Sacred Heart Univ’s “Big Red” caused much apoplexy, “incredibly offensive”.
Univ. of Mass’s “Minutemen” due to the gun control implications.

Anybody NOT know they would try this? Even if we still have enough actual American patriots in office and they find the backbone and courage to stop this, the Commies imbedded are prepared to take it by force as in a coup. If they do it boldly, they'll be stopped, but if inch by inch (like the devils have always done it), they'll likely get away with it.

Bush just slid back to the more "Cheese D*ck" side of the fence with that one.

It would have sent a much stronger message if he had done the correct thing and Pardon them IMHO.

Spurwing, I agree that moonbats tend to be stupid people, but you should brush up on your spelling and/or punctuation before lobbing insults at others.

On this topic : Perhaps too late would describe this action, but I'll take it with a smile, b/c nothing of this sort will occur in at least the next 4 years, and if the stupidity of the american people at this point is what it seems, possibly 8 or more. God bless America.
