You know, I think we are actually better off to have O as president for the next term. Here are my reasons:

1. Black President. We would all agree that this is a good thing. It may move Black American culture out of its deep and festering rut. It removes all of their excuses, and fixes the "Whitey is racist" charge we've been subjected to all our lives. This alone is more important to me personally than seeing McCain win.

2. If McCain/Palin had won you know what we would have had to listen to from the Left for the next 4 years. And McCain's performance as POTUS would not compensate for the anti-American vitriol we would all be subjected to from the libs.

3. Obama's mediocre, contrived and scripted presidency will give fiery young libs the life lesson that the President has no impact on their sorry lives whatsoever. It is a great opportunity to demonstrate to young libs that hating and complaining your way into power is not a path to success for either the individual or the nation.

I, by no one's scale (except liberal's), am even close to "rich" and I paid over $50K in state and federal taxes last year - throw in $6K property taxes and all the sales taxes, the government in one form or another took over 60% of my total income.

Anonymous yes, I am scared about the taxes, and I am a lifetime small business owner. And I am scared about all the liberal policies that will be put in place.

But the size of the socialist/hippie wave upon us is so huge, and the need for their education so great. They must see in person the stupidity of their policies firsthand. They haven't seen that in the last 8 years, and things under the Clintons weren't bad enough economically. We need the current power left to fade into history, and I think the anticipated failings of this president and Congress will bring that.

Evil, that's not the 1/2 of it with PETA. Not only do they kill 90 % of the animals in their care; they kill them in the back of vans, stuff them in into garbage bags, and then toss the bags into dumpsters outside supermarkets. They've been caught and arrested for this, after people notice the smell of rotting corpses in shopping malls and such.

V the K I lived in SF for a few years and have always wanted to do a site about the experience. That snippet you posted is actually not unusual, it is the norm.... but you knew that.

In only 3 years I have personally had:

1. A guy whip it out and pee all over my windshield while stopped at an intersection on Market St. - with the family and in-laws inside (who live there).

2. A hooker sprawled across my hood as I walked up to my car parked on the street with my wife. An apparent pimp was also there, laughing for some reason. She dodn't get off the hood until I actually started the car up.

3. The same pair of ta-ta's pressed up against my window over 4 or 5 consecutive days, at the same intersection.

4. When the air conditioning in our building failed during a heat wave we had to open our windows on the second floor. The urine evaporating up from the sidewalk created an ammonia gas cloud that made us have to close up for the rest of the day. This happened the next day as well.

5. While leaving the building from the gas cloud a guy was there sitting in the gutter, quietly eating a pigeon, raw, with his bare hands. Feathers all over his face.

Other facts:

- Each year, over two hundred tons of human feces are cleaned from SF city public areas. This has created a problem with the street sweeper trucks that have to be expensively decontaminated frequently, at a million bucks per year just for decontamination.

- San Francisco Supervisors voted to prohibit the use of police helicopters. So three $2M Eurocopters purchased 10 years ago by the SFPD are rusting in hangars in Sacramento. SF has the highest unsolved crime rate of any US metro city. Also, chases by police cars are prohibited, and also police chases by foot over a certain number of yards... I can't remember the number.

How can they not do police chases by car in SF? That's one of the most indelible images in my head from childhood TV.

I must today pay homage to the greatest American who has ever lived, the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr.

I personally did not decide that Rev. King was the greatest American who ever lived. That decision was rendered by our federal government in 1983 after 15 years of agitation by Rep. John Conyers, (D.
