Not All Inaugurations Are Coronations
Compare yesterday's grotesquely extravagant spectacle with this:
Both Bush and the Moonbat Messiah received about half of the vote.
On a tip from scaramouche.

Hearing Moore's voice almost made me lose my lunch. the point is a great one though we just ended a 8 year period of constant leftwing propaganda and the anointed one says now we should make nice.... I don't think so. You reap what you sow

And these are the people who want you all to "unite" behind the new president? Damned hypocrites!
I mean that - Damned. They're damning themselves to a very special sort of torment, one that comes in this life, as they get exactly what they asked for and the world falls apart around them.

Only online will you find a "compare & contrast" piece like this. It should be rammed straight down the throat of every leftist in the nation, but it won't be.

Will the right ever do this? Where is the republican party these days?
I could only watch about 20 seconds of the video

Consider that President Bush won both his elections by sailing against the tides that swept Obama into office. He was blocked by the MSM , 'elites' and the rent-a-mobs at every step, the very forces that swept Obama into office .

The National Mall, the day after. Wow, Obama's supporters sure are a bunch of pigs. Maybe the first order of business of that National Mandatory Community Service thing should be to clean up the mess left by his own supporters.

"Bob at January 21, 2009 10:22 AM"
You should watch it all, BOB. I haven't seen footage like that since the sixties "peace protests"!
When we criticised and questioned President Clinton, the Liberals said "even if you don't respect the man, you should respect the office".
This is called "selective amniesia".

TYPICAL LIBERALS! They are so predictable. Bush was never given a chance and these sick/twisted people are so full of hatred and mental disabilites. It's funny how the media keeps saying things like "The Nation is so Proud of Obama" Um did they forget that the other half of the country didn't vote for Obama?? The media is twisted to! They plaster Obama's face everywhere like everyone loves him. I am sick of Obama and the media can be thanked for that, they are stirring up more trouble then they think. You're right "when have the republicans ever done anything like this?" Never do because we actually have respect & dignity unlike the trash in the liberal left wing! What a bunch of slimy hypocrites!

Agreed, Moore is a creep who should damn well shut up.

The media made much over public outcry at the expense of the Bush inauguration. Total cost - about $40 million, at a time when the economy was booming.
Apparently $170 million during an economic downturn is just a-okay, however.
