Moonbat Research Proves We're Racists
Relax, liberals. Just because we've elected an alarmingly unqualified president on the basis of his African ancestry doesn't mean we have to stop wallowing in self-hatred over our alleged racism. CNN gleefully reports:
A new study published Thursday in the journal Science suggests many people unconsciously harbor racist attitudes, even though they see themselves as tolerant and egalitarian.
"This study, and a lot of research in social psychology, suggests that there are still really a lot of negative associations with blacks," said Kerry Kawakami, associate professor of psychology at York University in Toronto, Ontario, and lead author of the study. "People are willing to tolerate racism and not stand up against it."
The farcical study manages to prove we're racist by showing that a majority of whites will choose other whites as partners, even after hearing them say something non-PC. If birds of a feather flock together, it could only be to conspire against the historically oppressed.
Under our new "post-racial" regime, we can look forward to ever more government funds pouring into this sort of "research."

On a tip from Chad.

where'd you get that photo of the demokkkratic party party?

I sure hope the offending racists the study exposed were hauled off to "re-education camps" for corrective treatment.

You can't be serious, no one has a name like Kerry Kawakami. From what I read in the story I would say it is dead on the money, and I don't have a problem with that. Only one question I have is what if I am not 'unconsciously harboring' my racism, and just let everyone know I prefer the company of my own race? Does that make me some kind of Hitler?

And even if we are racist, so frigging what? Hell, I'll admit it, I hate that spearchucker.

I'd expect that some amount of racism is intrinsic to our make-up. Rather obviously, in primitive cultures if you couldn't recognize, and be wary of, someone that wasn't a member of your group or tribe, it could have very, very bad consequences for your health. Given that, I'd expect evolution selected for caution against those who are conspicuously different from ourselves.

My boss has a huge fish tank in his office, with various types of fish, with multiple members of each type. The members of each type tend to swim together, rather than spread themselves out equally among the other fish.
Racists.

From Kwak's website:
"My research focuses on the automatic activation of associations related to social categories. The types of associations that I examine include not only stereotypes and prejudice, but also automatic behaviors, general approach/avoidance orientations, attitudes, and emotions, and the interrelationship among these processes.
http://kawakami.socialpsychology.org/
I suspect as with most "scientific researchers" she finds what she's looking for, one way or the other. I mean, who get paid to do research, probably on grants, and ends up saying "OOPS, my bad, I was completely wrong."
Also note, Kwak chose to marry (or should I say - start a family with - someone CONSPICUOUSLY LIKE HERSELF! RAAAACIST!!!

So when certain groups of the community shove their culture down your throat and you are tired of it does that make you a racist?
Oh Well I guess I'm a racist.

She must have spent a lot of time studying liberals... the most racist group of people I've ever seen. As a conservative, I don't believe people should be given special consideration because of their color, liberals think people of certain races aren't smart or industrious enough to get by on their own and need handouts or special treatment... based SOLELY on the color of their skin. I'd call that pretty racist.

That discription fits Liberals to a tee.

Eric, on the subject, many believe that Charles Darwin was pretty racist, because he at one point claimed that blacks (Or, as he called them, "Negroids") were less intelligent and capable than whites, because they allegedly occupy a lower rung on the evolutionary ladder than whites do. A lot of the people who claim arwin was one of the most brilliant men who ever lived tend to overlook that little comment he made.

If evolution is true, negroids and caucasians traveled different evolutionary paths. Therefore one group must be further advanced than the other. Since negroid-race run nations are less technologically advanced than caucasian-race run nations, evolution DEMANDS the conclusion be that the caucasian race is superior.
This makes me proud to say I am NOT a believer in evolution, but in the belief that GOD created mankind in HIS image. Male and female HE created them.
The wheels are coming off of the evolutionary wagon almost as fast as they are coming off of the Global Warming wagon.

So what of blacks preferring to marry blacks? Hypocrite?

Wow. Spewing shit like that makes you no better than the idiot "professor" from York University.
As a black guy who frequently reads this site and enjoys the commentary, I'm pretty sure your views are in the extreme minority around here. So trust me when I say you'll feel more at home at a site like Stormfront.

cerulean1,
I live in a city that is 75% black. My neighborhood is 85% black. I listen to more racist language coming from blacks then I ever here coming from white folks. It seems to me the black folks in this country are hung up on race and that they are using racism as a crutch still. There will be a man of color in the oval office soon, why aren't blacks and their leadership focused on this historic event rather than go backwards in time on the way to the oval office? Blacks have made more progress in the last twenty years yet the black communiy is so hypocrital of others. When blacks use the "N" word its OK. When whites use the "N" word its racism. When blacks say black power it's OK but if a white man says white power it's racism. I'm tired of this hypocritical stand that the black community and it's leaders take. When is the black community as a whole going to wake up? When is the black community going to quit making excuses for it's short comings?
Having been lynched and hung is a matter of racism. Seperating wash rooms is a matter of racism.
Calling a white man a cracker or a black man a porchmonkey is not racism but a matter of respect,
to me there is a difference. So don't get offended by words spoken and opinion expressed because that's all that is. The only thing that is hurt by those words are are feelings...grow a thicker skin.

"When is the black community as a whole going to wake up? When is the black community going to quit making excuses for it's short comings?"
There are plenty of great websites which put to rest the notion that all Blacks are slum-cultured White-haters (LaShawn Barber, Jesse Lee Peterson, Wake-Up-Black-America, on and on...). This dopey woman is just another example of "Liberals" constantly projecting their own blatant racism upon everyone else. The Media generally ignores straight-shooting Black Americans, for fear of offending the professional race-hustlers of the Left who refer to non-racist/non-Leftist Blacks as "Uncle Rukus", "handkerchief-head", etc..

"(Or, as he called them, "Negroids")"
Which is actually the proper name for the "black" race.

I guess this study would help us better usnderstand why just last week Dingy Harry said that any names that Blago would send over to replace Obama would be kicked out -- even though they were all blacks!

I would like those of you who work in large companies, where both blacks and Whites are employed, to ask yourself these questions; (warning: honesty required)
During lunch or coffee breaks, who do most blacks associate with, Whites or other blacks?
At social events, where both races are present, with whom do blacks spend most of their time, Whites or other blacks?
The "Fact" is, generally speaking, blacks are THE most racist people in this country, in spite of what the Left and it's media would have you believe.

What's amazing to me is that before the running started for the 2008 presidential election, racism was not really a topic of everyday discussion. Now you can't go one day without hearing about it in some form or another. Anyone else notice that?
