Moonbat Messiah to Nix Drilling
To no one's surprise, this didn't take long:
U.S. President Barack Obama may order a hold on a proposal issued in the final days of the Bush administration to expand offshore drilling in previously banned areas, an Interior Department official told Reuters on Wednesday. … Separately, the Interior official said the department's plan to develop oil shale fields in the western United States may also be stopped by Obama's order.
Cheap oil is likely to shorten the recession, which Obama needs to worsen if he is to strangle what's left of our economic freedom and move us toward socialism. Thus it's important to prevent us from drilling our own oil.
Fortunately, we don't need the oil anyway, now that we're in the era of rainbows and unicorns. We can just fill our gas tanks with Hope and Change.

As painful as it will be for americans to have higher gasoline prices and less disposable income... for too many people, more and more, bigger and bigger, just makes them uglier and uglier... both inside and outside. Little bit of tough love coming our way. Must be what god wants for us... he's stirring up the people

If you study the Old Testament and the Book of Mormon, there is a definite pattern to history.
1. Nations keep the word of God and grow strong.
2. In their strength, they become arrogant, and begin to fall away from God.
3. Nations who turn away from God fall.
4. Those who survive rebuild the nation on the Word of God.
5. Repeat.
You can interpret this as a cycle of reward and punishment, but I think it's more simple than that. The Word of God is Truth, and when you follow the truth, you do the common-sensical things that build great nations... hard work, self-denial, strong families.
When a nation gets fat, lazy, and stupid, they start doing self-destructive things because they think they are rich enough to get away with continual self-gratification. But that can not continue indefinitely, and so the nation falls. And those who have the virtues of hard work, self-denial, and family ties are best positioned to rebuild.

I believe that our country is going to have to flat on it's face to wake these liberal nut jobs up! God used to be a big part of our country and that's why we succeeded so much. The more and more that we step away from God the worse things will get. It's all happening very fast! unfortunately all the innocent, smart people will have to suffer some for all these liberals crazy, looney concepts.
