Moonbat Judge Imposes Anarchy in the UK
No good deed goes unpunished — and under a legal system run by moonbats, neither does good character:
A yob accused of robbing a driving instructor walked free from court — after a judge ruled that the victim was too believable as a witness.
Judge Jamie Tabor praised Denise Dawson as 'honest, utterly decent and brave' when she identified a man as her alleged attacker and gave evidence against him.
But moments later he halted the trial and ordered a not guilty verdict on Liam Perks, 20.
The judge said Mrs Dawson's good character and compelling evidence could sway the jury, even though she had had only a fleeting glimpse of her attacker.
He said: 'Denise Dawson was a particularly impressive witness because she showed courage, clarity of thought and was undoubtedly honest. The jury may lend more weight to her evidence than the facts allow. You cannot be sure she got it right.'
Dawson, a 36-year-old mother of two, called the outrage a "kick in the teeth":
I was absolutely terrified after I heard he had pleaded not guilty and I would have to go to court to testify. I felt sick when the trial collapsed. What more can I do? I positively identified someone from a video ID parade and was prepared to risk everything going to court, but it's still not enough.
It's no fun being on the side of the angels when the devils are in charge.

This "judge" is afraid people might use judgment?
We've been destined for this kind of madness ever since secular relativists managed to make "value judgments" a cardinal sin in the cult of Moonbat.
I've been in debates with progressives in which they shout: "You're making a value judgment!" You know, as if making judgments (especially of the 'value' variety) is a bad thing to do and it automatically invalidates my point.
It's not getting any less ridiculous out there yet.

That poor woman. To face all that in court, and then that idiot judge just lets him go? Why do they even bother with witness identification if this is the result? Sounds like the prosecution would have been better off without her - at least it would have gone to the jury. Wonder if this changes some legal strategies in THAT judge's courtroom?

So, this idiotic judge basically did the defense attorney's job by making the "but the witness only saw him for a split second" argument. It's for a jury to decide whether, objectively speaking, the witness got a good enough look at the defendant; that's why the jury is the finder of fact.

Some day, the people will rise up and take their lives and countries back by force of arms if necessary. They will regain their will, strength, and the ability to think for themselves.
