Mickey Rourke Pile Drives Moonbats
Mickey Rourke — in the news for his performance in "The Wrestler" — has given the moonbats who dominate Tinseltown a body slam, even daring the ultimate blasphemy of defending President Bush:
President Bush was in the wrong place at the wrong time, I don't know how anyone could have handled this situation.
I don't give a f**k who's in office, Bush or whoever, there is no simple solution to this problem… I'm not one of those who blames Bush for everything. This s**t between Christians and Muslims goes back to the Crusades, doesn't it.
It's too easy to blame everything on one guy. These are unpredictable, dangerous times, and I don't think that anyone really knows quite what to do.
Actually, it goes back much further than the Crusades, which were just the first notable example of Christendom taking the fight to an enemy that had been advancing on it for centuries. But Rourke is an actor, not a history professor. At least he grasps the basic situation, unlike most of his coworkers — to whom he offers this excellent advice:
Actors should shut up about politics, because they tend to be ill-informed finger-pointers who just cozy up to some flavor-of-the-month liberal, you know?
For the most part, Rourke follows his own advice. But he does have this to say about the sniveling dhimmitude he has seen in Britain:
I was in London recently and I couldn't believe all these hate-talking fanatics you have over here who are allowed to carry on doing their thing even when a bus full of women and children gets blown to pieces. I know you've deported one or two of them, but it seems crazy. I think there is worse to come, something terrible will happen to either America or the U.K., or France even.
Given that The One has openly announced his intention to castrate the CIA by appointing leftist weenie Leon Panetta to head it, my money is on the next big one happening here.

On tips from The Him and V the K.

I heard it some award on the MSM, and now it's got the most anti-moonbat actor I've seen. Sweet! I'm getting that when it comes out on dvd.

Its about time someone took a stand against these stupid liberals in Hollyweird. Its gotten to a point where I won't go to the movies. I don't want my money to pay for their bullshit.
Speaking of bullshit, how about the Boss Bruce sprinsteen? I grew up with his music now I want nothing to do with that leftist peice of shit. I sold all of his CD's and records to a dealer. I will never listen to his music again.
I don't think I will be able to stomach the ONES Coronation with all the Hollyweird shit holes attending.

It's about time someone in Hollywood spoke the truth. These liberals are trying to destroy everything about America. They are so out of touch living their lavish lifestyles, yet they feel sorry for us average folk. They can take their money and shove where the sun don't shine. He's right "Actors need to stay out of politics" & stay locked up in their crazy little la la land. Hell I can't even go to the movies anymore, why should I support these quacks!

"This s**t between Christians and Muslims goes back to the Crusades, doesn't it."
Actually further. The Crusades were just a belated western response to several hundred years of muslim agression which resulted in their control of the Holy Land as well as other areas.

.....Oh and what's up with the whole Obama "IMAGE" thing we have going on for the inaugoration? What's this like the Grammy's now?? Or the MTV VMA's?? I don't want my president to be an MTV celebrity! Wow it makes me feel so much better knowing that all these trashy, untalented musicians from MTV fully support the president, this just makes me feel worse about Obama.

And, O'Rourke is right when he says you can't blame everything on just one guy. When moonbats lay ALL the trouble in the world at the door of Bush, it really is showing profound intellectual laziness. It's infant-like, really.

There goes any chance of Rourke getting an Oscar.

Good stuff from Rourke, but doesn't anyone ever wonder how Islam came to dominate in all the areas it does? Do people think the Bosnians, Berbers and the Byzantines just decided to drop what they were doing and convert to Islam voluntarily?
Well, at least he's on the right track and he's not afraid to defy the Hollywood adolescents.

"goes back to the Crusades" is probably far above the historical knowledge of most people. I give him credit for even knowing ANY history nowadays. Seems like we continue to forget or not learn from our own history and keep repeating it.

"goes back to the Crusades" is probably far above the historical knowledge of most people.True, most of the lefty dimbulbs I know think history began in 2001.
Posted by: V the K at January 14, 2009 9:55 AM
No, V the K, moonbats think it began in 2000, with the evil monster George W. Bush blatantly stealing the election from the Holy Goracle.

This might be profoundly upsetting to many of us on the left if any of us gave a crap about what Mickey Rourke thinks.

That's right, smart people get their opinions from Sean Penn.

MOONBATS MAKE A LOVLY SOUND WHEN YOU SQUISH THEM

Rourke has jumped way up there on my Hollywood Esteem-O-Meter, right up there with Voight, Grammer and Willis. Yes this could thwart his getting the Oscar, though that seems tentatively reserved for Heath Leger. Amusingly, his other stiff competition is Eastwood, another Tinseltown Conservative.
Watching: I hear you, man, re Springsteen...and I'm thinking of boycotting the Super Bowl half-time show too. But if I sold all my CDs of musicians who are whackjob moonbats, I'd have little left to listen to. (That said, I sure won't buy Broooooce's new stuff.)
I like Hannity's approach, which is to appreciate their music but scorn/ignore their politics.
Artists are, of course, largely idiots, with rectums for pie holes.

Alice Cooper. Bigtime Christian and consertive.
" If you go to a rockstar for your political opinions, then all you have are a rockstars political opinions" (+/-)
Bruce it an idiot, as are bon Jovi et al
I'd rather be able to look into a mirror than have an oscar doorstop.

Hey...I forgot that Bruce Springsteen is doing the superbowl half time. Guess that will be a good time to re-up supplies I'm sure as hell am not going to watch a Kool ade drinker parade himself.
For all you lefty moonbats out there...GO ISAREL DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES AND THEIR ALLIS!!! DON"T LISTEN TO ANYBOY OR ANYTHING!!! VICTORY! VICTORY!
I did that because I'm tire of the moonbat sissy shitface fucks that will stand by a known terrorist group. PLease get hostile if you wish.
Posted by: Watching at January 14, 2009 1:46 PM
Sorry about the spelling I'm hostile at this moment.

Maryhunter, is Clint Eastwood a conservative?
I heard in 2005, he received a lot of criticism from conservatives who felt that his film 'Million Dollar Baby' promoted euthanasia.
czuch, Alice Cooper is THE MAN. A few months ago, I had Van do a 'Profile in Countermoonbattery' on Cooper for his open endorsement of Sarah Palin.
His late- night radio show is good to listen to, as well.

Have you ever seen TED NUGENT yet? He realy rakes antihunting moonbats over the coals
Posted by: Spurwing Plover at January 14, 2009 7:49 PM
Oh Lord. Please don't make me like Mickey Rourke. Please.
Darn it. Now I like him for having the balls to say something...anything...against left leaning Hollywood.
But, where was he a few months ago when it might have made a difference?
