Mexifornian Trades Teenage Daughter for Beer
Multiculturalism continues to blossom in Mexifornia:
A California man is under arrest for allegedly trying to sell his 14-year-old daughter into marriage for 100 cases of beer and other items. Police say 36-year-old Marcelino De Jesus Martinez arranged for his daughter to marry an 18-year-old man for several cases of Corona beer, 50 cases of Negra Modelo, six bottles of wine, fifty cases of soft drinks and 50 cases of Gatorade. …
The daughter moved in with the man, but the father never received payment so he called police. Police brought the daughter home along with a surprise for the father; an arrest warrant. De Jesus Martinez and the 18-year-old are both in jail charged with felonies. The father is charged with receiving money for causing person to cohabitate and the other man is charged with statutory rape.
Police say arranged marriages are common in many cultures and are not against the law as long as both people are over the legal age.
No mention is made of Martinez's immigration status, which means someone might want to call ICE.

This should come as no surprise.
"Greenfield Police Chief Joe Grebmeier told KSBW Action News 8 that both Martinez and Galindo, who are immigrants from Mexico, face the possibility of being deported as illegal immigrants."

If this was Britain, they wouldn't even bat an eye. A non-Britain arranges a marriage for any daughter over the age of menstruation in return for dowry. This is a precious part of middle eastern culture, so who are we to object? Go ahead and mutilate the girl's privates, it's a time-honored cultural tradition, so why do we care? Harrasing these people is against the Race Relations Act. For shame!

Well, Corona's okay (kinda the Coors of Mexico) -- shoulda gone for XX, my friend; Negra Modelo's not bad, either, once you get past the first, bitter taste; I'da taken a good German dark bier myself, but maybe none was available in Mexifornicationstan (how's things goin out there, Ahnald?).
Hell, it's your daughter, dude -- you shoulda asked for 200 cases . . . What were you thinking?
