Meeting Our Energy Needs With Moonbattery

It looked like we were really in trouble, considering that our economy needs energy to keep us from starving, and the Democrats taking total control of Washington are opposed to any efficient means of generating it. But then a moonbat calling himself rockhardgod stepped forward with this ingenious solution:

There are free energy technologies and Permanent magnetic motors, if each house had a permanent magnetic motor to power the home and we drove electric cars. There would be hell of allot less greenhouse gases being emitted.
If you can understand this next bit then welldone if you cant then think harder!
DRAW this, 5 evenly spread lines coming out from a center point each tipped with south poled magnets then have 4 evenly spread SHAPELY curved double poled magnets(north-south) on the outer. Using the right stretched, half diamond cured inwards shape outer double poled magnets and materials this pattern in general could be redefined to make MANY different types of magnetic motors. Can you think of your own? i have dozens in my head its so easy!simple ideas are usually the best ideas!
Using the right combination of old and new technology with enough static energy to overcome part of the laws of diminishing returns THIS WILL power something usable, such as a house and much more
If you have drawn it right you will have one inner south poled magnet in the center of one of the double-poled outer magnets while two of the inner south poled magnets are attracting the other two are being repelled this then forces the one that is in the center to repelle at its thickest part of repelling.3D runs through the outer magnets just something i come up with years ago. …
Does anyone out there know any thing about this besides a select few. Josh. M. of Western Australia,Mandurah i am Australian aboriginal and i'm sure i wont benefit from this. aka (munky) hope this is'nt to much info for your little brain to process.

Notice that he also solves the global warming crisis, as less greenhouse gases will be emitted. The only downside is, it might keep getting colder.

Too bad Obama already has a moonbat Energy Czar and Marxist Global Warming Czarina.

rockheadclod's revolutionary breakthrough comes to us thanks to willyoujoinus.com, a site set up by Chevron to encourage the envirolunacy that will eventually lead to the destruction and nationalization of energy companies.

On tips from Ian and Burning Hot.

This guy could do for energy what Lysenko did for agriculture.

Years ago the US Patent office got tired of people submitting patent applications for such nonsense (sounds like a perpetual motion machine to me). Now they require a working model. Needless to say they don't get many takers.

Posted by: baldeagle390 at January 13, 2009 12:58 PM

The comments at that site have to be read to be believed. What a marvelous treasure trove of moonbattery.

Posted by: Kevin R at January 13, 2009 1:10 PM

i'm with bald eagle - perpetual motion. we do have a friend who made a motor that he could get to run in a similar manner, however, once started it would begin to heat up and eat bearings and gears and the methods he came up with to stop the machine were hilarious at best.

this guy's a real scientific rocket!

Posted by: nanc at January 13, 2009 1:16 PM

This guy needs to take a basic physics class. There is no such thing as a single magnetic pole, or "monopole." If he finds one, he ought to tell someone, it would be worth a Nobel prize.

Posted by: Pugsly at January 13, 2009 1:23 PM

I recall back in the 70s that a self educated end of the dirt road type from Mississippi came on the Carson show with a black box. He claimed it was a perpetual motion machine that used magnets. He powered a laser show and did some other things with it....wonder what ever happened to him?

Posted by: Joe Buzz at January 13, 2009 1:57 PM

Frightening. I worked on permanent magnetic motors off and on through my teens and twenties. Even more frightening, his even/odd stator-rotor arrangement was my eureka moment as well... in 1978 I think.

I looked on it as a challenging puzzle. One exception to the comments above is that permanent magnet motors are NOT an exception to the 2nd law of thermodynamics. NOR are they perpetual motion.

Yes, it's probably impossible to make one. But still, it is not correct or scientific to make the absolute statement that they are either possible or impossible. If they are conclusively impossible, then magnets themselves would not work.

The eco-freak will send us their stupid junk mail urging us to oppose drill in the ANWR using this FRAAGILE EARTH bull crap TELL THE GREENS TO GO SHOVE ITUP THEIR A*** and quit bother us with your fat green lies

Posted by: Spurwing Plover at January 13, 2009 2:28 PM

Wouldn't it be great? A few magnets, a rotor, some bearings and voila...free energy.

This is like pyramid schemes. They come around every few years when a new crop of suckers hasn't heard about them.

Someone...anyone...make a prototype. Show us. We'll all eat our words. (I, for one, am not getting the condiments ready just yet...)

This is from a comment over at that site:

"The majority of persons and families all over the world can possess one or more of the private cars. The result of which is that, there is a huge and terrible number of private cars on the roads all over the world which swallow a huge and terrible amount of fuel every fraction of second. The problem is multiplied when the traffic becomes very slow. The reasons for this worst phenomenon are as following:
1.The majority of people aim to possess private cars for luxury, not for necessity and need, because the prices of the private cars and the fuel are low for them.
2.The public transportation is very bad and not comfortable and maybe not available in some areas.
Suggested solutions:
1.Making the public transportation of the people; the cargo desirable; available everywhere.
2.Decreasing the production rate of the private cars.
3.Discouraging the use of the private cars thru strict regulations."

End Quote.

There ya go, everyone get on the bus, you don't need that car. Pure communism. The only replier to this agreed totally with him, and further, believes all baby boomers should live the "Urban University lifestyle." Sit around dorm rooms getting high?

Posted by: Karin at January 13, 2009 2:45 PM

The huge and terrible problem is that there are huge and terrible numbers of socialist idiots who think private property and freedom of movement is a huge and terrible thing.

Can anyone spell "Huge And Terrible Global Climate Chaos Crisis Hoax"?

Barack has been waffling on things faster than IHOP, so let's hope his "you can't drive your SUV or eat as much as you want or heat your homes to 72" is another set of ideas that winds up under the collectivist bus. Those are huge and terrible ideas!

Posted by: matt at January 13, 2009 3:52 PM

I'm all for perpetual motion machines, as long as they generate some heat. What with the world going into a new ice age, anything that fails to pump out some CO2 to warm things up a bit is gonna be low down on the buying list.

Posted by: mega at January 13, 2009 5:16 PM

Matt, I, honestly, don't think we have to worry about Obama bothering with how hot we make our homes or whether we drive SUVs. Hussein O is quickly finding out that the, uhm, REAL business of being president does not leave a lot of room for busy-body projects.

Given his huge leftist/socialist "Yes we can!" following, who must be thrown some kind of bone while he's trying to figure out what the hell to do, what we should expect from Obama is a plethora of Czars, meetings, position papers, evaluation studies, speeches, blue ribbon panels, special envoys to ad-hoc UN groups, Biden-led study-groups, and declarations of "deep concern" about "problems that too long have been ignored". These are all ways of getting shit off the plate while not upsetting the people who care about the shit.

I predict: global warming will get the same treatment.

The wild card is health care. That one might get some real attention. But watch out for the blue-ribbon panel to study the situation and make special recommendations to a committee that reports to the UN on the challenges. At that point, we will know that health care reform has been thrown into the trash along with everything else.

Magnets-shcmagmets. What we REALLY need are some zero point modules like they discovered at Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy! Didn't seem to create any "greenhouse" gases or toxic Co2. Just that pesky little concern of accidentally causing a rift in the space-time continuum or something...

K, I just finished a paper for a class about expanding nuclear energy. The things I found during research were astounding. Pebble bed and fast breeder reactors are where it's at. Fast breeder reactors actually create more fuel than they use. You start them off with a dose of fuel, then they breed more fuel while running. They can crack steam and create hydrogen to use in fuel cell cars which solves the hydrogen fuel problem while at the same time, desalinating water.
Sniveling little hippie, "but Geronimo, what about the high level waste that it creates and will be poisonous for hundreds of thousands of years?"
Hush hippie! These reactors burn up the isotopes that are poisonous for hundreds of thousands of years and creates little waste that is toxic for only a couple hundred years.
We can use the high level waste the US has been sitting on since 1951, reprocess it and use it as fuel. The US is currently the only country on the planet that does NOT reprocess its waste. Instead we buy fuel from Australia, Russia and Canada.
Why we are not building these reactors is beyond me. Friggin' hippies and environitwit lobbyists.
As for that website? Hippies are funny. I can almost picture them crying while writing.

Pugsly,
True pugsly, there is no such thing as a monopole, but there IS such a thing as a halbech array.. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halbach_array

while you can make such an array, that doesnt mean the arrangement he states will work at all (it wont)... though that doesnt stop others from conceptualizing something without wanting it badly enough to crack a book and read.

i wanted to answer over there, but why? they would just vilify or annoy me rather than listen, learn, and then go crack a book.

heck if they think they are pretty good with science, then by all means, borrow feynmans lectures... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Feynman_Lectures_on_Physics

Six Easy Pieces (1994)
Atoms in motion
Basic Physics
The relation of physics to other sciences
Conservation of energy
The theory of gravitation
Quantum behavior

really some great stuff...

there are some really big problems with how all this is presented to people. even worse, its been presented and taught so poorly, and people have a princess and the pea version of self esteem, they will not learn. heck tell me i am wrong, let me know, show me where, then i can move on. but these people, the grande average, they feel that once they became an adult they need not learn anything, and everything they have learned is sufficient.

the moonbats take it one paranoid step farther. we are all equal, so how can you know something i dont? so you must be lying if i dont understand it. its a trick!! mongo know!!

want to put a person who says solar is enough in their place as to how much energy?

plants are the most efficient solar collectors we have. however, they are completely immobile because there isnt enough energy to get up and move.

it takes many plants eaten every day to provide that energy density so that mammals can move.

and it took the excess energy that comes from being a predator, so that we could think and have time when we werent hunting and eating, unlike vegetarian animals that pretty much spend their time as eating machines with little down time.

ya ever ask yourself...

why is nuclear no good? why are they building or presumably building storage facilities to last 10k years? we are at the edge of ubiquitous and frequent space flight, no?

you see, it has nothing to do with material or anything real, it has to do with pulling off the worlds biggest con. the stealing of all the property of a nation.

we can drop nuclear waste into the sun...

within 100 years if we progress, we will be mining old garbage dumps for their rich concentrated mineral supplies.

pollution is a farce... its an illusion...
in 100,000 years what will be around of pollution?

and progress too.. for what kind of progress will it be in 200,000 years if we never leave planet? even if we do?

life and reality is a treadmill, meaning doesnt come from false illusions, or their fixing.

the best thing we can do for life is to allow us to contaminate other barren worlds, and do our manufacturing in space.

problem is that if they dont stagnate us before then, they will lose their chance at power consolidation. its been foiled by fracturing each time. (car makers used to make all the parts, then they fractured, and now they over see many companies that make parts for them. gossip led to newsppaers, which was fractured by radio, which was then fractured by tv, which then was fractured by cable, which now is being fractured by the internet. at each level control was lost due to progress and fracturing. so now if ya want to stay on top for a long time you need dynastic stagnation)

its a race... its the eternal race.

capitalism took the king and lords and made them slaves of the people, servants of the people.

socialism seeks to set the kings and lords free from their enslavement to serve the people, and make servants of the lords who own everything, including the people.

Posted by: BURNING HOT at January 13, 2009 9:14 PM

Does any rational person really think that "they" would allow us to have free energy? Try counting all the free things you get now. That didn't take long, now did it.

"Using the right combination of old and new technology with enough static energy to overcome part of the laws of diminishing returns THIS WILL power something usable, such as a house and much more"

When I power my house with high octane unleaded, it runs a lot more smoothly and gets better mileage. Not sure about these newfangled magnet thingies.

I am going to sign up for their "Join the Discussion" section of the website. At first I was going to try and explain how senseless the entire notion is, now I've settled on "Hey Chevron, shut the F*** up and start drilling."

One more point. I really think that what passes for the moonbat's brain must be pretty close to shorting out. I mean, on one hand www.willyoujoinus.com is made to appeal to moonbats. Talk of taking cars off the road, pics of compact fluorescent lightbulbs, talk of eco, renewable, alternative this and that; and conservation and so on. But on the other hand this is a website run by BIG OIL. Based on the fact it is a website run by BIG OIL, they instinctively want to reject it and everything it offers.

Envision moonbats running around waving their arms like the robot from Lost in Space, "That does not compute!"

Posted by: DarthTbone at January 14, 2009 4:57 AM

Geronimo,

Excellent post. I'm a nuclear medicine technologist and the US could use the waste to make isotopes for use in medicine. Last year the reactor in Canada went offline to do some safety stuff and 50% of the WORLD's supply was interupted. This is insane. You are right. We get our isotopes from Canada, Netherlands and South Africa. What a boon to patients if the US could produce its own isotopes. Alas the hippies and the liberal neredowells will never let that happen.

That was a great post by mega up there at 5:31. I think he'll be proven exactly right. Obama and those he's surrounded himself with have never run a company, never HAD to get shit done. They've sat around and discussed things their entire lives. "Biden-led study groups" LOL

If they are kept thus busy, they won't be able to do as much harm as otherwise.
