If only Congress would limit itself to wasting our money on such a limited scale:

Petition in Opposition to Hate Crimes Legislation

There is an increased threat of federal Hate Crimes legislation to our Constitutional liberty as given in the First and Fourteenth Amendments as a result of Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee striking again. Not only did Jackson-Lee introduce new hate crime legislation, The David Ray Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, H.R. 256, but she also submitted a new companion bill, The David Ray Richardson Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, H.R. 262. These two bills directly threaten your freedom of speech and religion. President-elect Obama has supported hate crimes in the past and is expected to sign the bill if it gets to his desk. We need to act now!

This petition will be sent to the U.S. Senate on 2/1/09.

The last day to sign the petition will be 1/31/09.

Your participation could help stop Congress from impairing your right to freedom of speech, religious expression and equal justice.

I have to agree, a platform to launch nukes from space would be a much more thorough way to waste precious financial resources of the USA.

It could also poison the entire planet, even in the attempt to get radioactive material into space.

That's why the 'O' will probably try to build it(under the guise of saving the Earth from global warming, natch).

Posted by: hiram at January 18, 2009 10:47 PM

Well if Obama does try to build it national security would guarantee that we would not hear about nukes on it.

Should I downplay global warming in anticipation that I will be jerked around by its rhetoric in contravention to the facts?

In the end, the American people, now officially recognized as some of the dumbest people on the planet, will get exactly what they deserve!

I agree with Flame on this one. The Liberals are elated, that now the World will see us as being warm and fuzzy again. ... and Islam can now move in and help us in our guidance to total appreciation of Allah. (provided we do as they say).

I don't know why, but I feel sick ...

THINGS TO REMEMBER ON INAUGURATION DAY

1. Barry Soetero (aka Barack Hussein Obama) has hired a team of lawyers to keep us from seeing his long form birth certificate.

2. He spent a great deal of his childhood in Indonesia as an Indonesian citizen.

3. He attended high school in Hawaii and went to Harvard with dubious financial backing.

3. He has not released a single sheet of academic records.

4. He traveled to Pakistan in 1981 on what must have been an Indonesian passport.

5. We don't know why he moved to Chicago.

6. His IL senate records have been "lost".

7. He spent 20 years agreeing with racial hate speech up. Including virulent Antisemitism.

8. His extremely brief U.S. Senate record is so far left it's almost communist.

9. Is a rabid supporter of partial birth abortions to the point of alienating other liberal Democrats.

10. One of his chief mentors and associates is unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground.

Any one have anymore points to add?

Hey Stephen K,
I'd like to point out that your list reads like propaganda.

I'm not going to watch the inaug, why would I?
