Google Changes Algorithm to Spare Obama From Ridicule
Remember the "miserable failure" Google bomb? For over six years it resulted in searches for that term giving President Bush's official biography as its top result. But then the Moonbat Messiah ascended, and the search brought up his bio instead. Motivated as ever by disinterested bipartisanship, Google immediately acted to change the algorithm.
Google's control of online information makes it immensely powerful. But with some help from Obama, it could become more powerful still, via a strategy to use government regulation of the Internet to suppress competition known as "net neutrality." One hand washes the other.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly - it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over”
“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it”

Socialists are assimilating this country one carefully planned step at a time.
Controlling information controls the people.
How will anyone resist? They don't know there is anything to resist.

So "miserable failure" is out. How about we googlebomb him with "Emperor Arugula" instead?

Wait - I have a better idea.
"American Fascist".
After all, he is Barackito Mussobama...

Ted
Goebbels was absolutely correct, but he forgot that it is only for a very limited time that this will hold.
There is a limit that the physical laws of the universe place on madness. When global cooling is coming, no amount of lies can change it. When the country is no longer economically viable, no amount of lies can restore its wealth. In the end, lies do not matter. Reality crushes to powder all before it in the most cruel manner one can imagine.

OK, I won't use Google. Isn't Yahoo just as good?
Posted by: Karin at January 29, 2009 11:18 AM
OK, Yahoo will link Barack Obama and Miserable Failure. Done. My engine of choice.

The point is that the left is absolutely frenzied and ruthless in their quest to push their agenda. Sort of like Islam. They DEPEND on fairness and (in a lot of cases) complacency on the part of conservatives to keep their ball moving.
Every time I see a conservative on Fox giving Obama a break or cudos, I go nuts. Bush was VILIFIED from the second he started and they never, EVER stopped. It was only days after 9-11 that they were tearing him apart again.
No, the left is literally one of the biggest influences for evil in the country. They own the schools, the media (including a lot of the internet via Google et. al.), and soon will be passing laws to restrict our access to the airwaves (Fairness Doctrine) and the web (Internet Neutrality).
We are in big trouble.

This is actually bunk. The wikipedia article here explains that Google made the change necessary to fix this in 2006:

Anon, I think you've taken a wrong turn. The Kool-Aid distribution center is THAT way...

I guess the anonymous troll can't be bothered to read the article. Google waited years to do anything about the Bush Googlebombs. They stomped on the Obama ones immediately.

One possible reason so many internet nerds are on the bandwagon with net neutrality..

My only question is why does any thinking conservative still use Google with their Liberal biases? It's not like they are the only search engine; in fact they're pretty much over-rated. Yahoo is pretty Liberal too. Try http://www.dogpile.com/ instead.
And Boycott Liberalism!

I'll explain this very tricky and so-technical-it-is-almost-too-complicated-to-grasp concept that only us super, uber computer science guys can grasp...
While an algorithm may take years to develop, once 'gold' it can be implemented countless times in a very short turn around time with little to no effort.
I am glad that I could illuminate these concepts that are just WAY too complicated for the average person to grasp...
I am no Google fan boy. Common sense, however, big, big fan!!!

Personally, I have no problem with Net Neutrality at all. Conservatives, Christians and the like have already been shut out of the mainstream media. This would lead the way to shut out the average Joe & Jane Everyperson in time.
And for those of us with limited means who may have a message that we want to get out may not be able to do it if we are limited to 250GB a month with a huge overage fee (like with Comcast) $15 for each 10 GB over the cap they travel.
250GB sounds like quite a bit of bandwidth but is really small potatoes in the final analysis.
