Former Gitmo Vacationers Back in Action
What a relief for guilt-ridden liberals: the put-upon terrorists released from Club Gitmo have not been forced to devoted themselves to psychotherapy as a result of their traumatic experiences, but rather have proven resilient enough to go straight back to the battlefield to wage war against Western Civilization.
On January 23, 2009 the Islamist website Al-Faluja posted a video message from Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula that consisted of messages delivered by four commanders in the organization — two of them former prisoners at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp. In the messages the commanders urged Muslims to assist the Palestinians in Gaza, called for attacks on Western interests in order to pressure them to stop aiding Israel, warned imprisoned mujahideen about the Saudi "counseling program to reeducate extremists," [1] and warned the Saudi regime to stop protecting Western embassies, churches, and military bases.
Former Gitmo vacationer — and current deputy Emir of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula — Abu Sufyan Al-Azdi Sa'id Al-Shihri proclaims that he and his fellow Religion-of-Peaceniks will continue slaughtering the innocent until "we set up an Islamic state and establish a caliphate … and until the law of Allah is implemented."
But maybe they'll settle for having our new president nibble the lint between their toes.

Al Gore is scheduled before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday morning to once again testify on the 'urgent need' to combat global warming.
But Mother Nature seems ready to freeze the proceedings.
A 'Winter Storm Watch' has been posted for the nation's capitol and there is a potential for significant snow... sleet... or ice accumulations.
"I can't imagine the Democrats would want to showcase Mr. Gore and his new findings on global warming as a winter storm rages outside," a Republican lawmaker emailed the DRUDGE REPORT. "And if the ice really piles up, it will not be safe to travel."
A spokesman for Sen. John Kerry, who chairs the committee, was not immediately available to comment on contingency plans.
Global warming advocates have suggested this year's wild winter spells are proof of climate change.

They should be returned to their origional theatre of operations and "released" the way we did in Nam. Notice we old guys had no prisoner problems. We didn't have prisoners. That's just my opinion.

I'd have to say, having a former Gitmo detainee would be a great PR stunt. I'm betting that's 80% of the reasoning.

OK, nibbling the lint, that is too far. Stick to the standard kiss ass and you should be good to go.
I suggest we make sure that detainees are comfy near a large city, so they won't be inconvenienced looking for targets.

But of course these people only become terrorists after their release, due to their harsh treatment in the Gitmo gulag..
