Dead of Moonbattery
One fewer Briton has to worry about just how crazy it's going to get over there before people rebel against the insane regime of totalitarian moonbattery. A deaf and half-blind grandmother died at age 91, stressed to the point of physical collapse after bureaunazis forced her to take out a second mortgage to pay a £16,000 bill to make her home more eco-friendly on behalf of the polar bears.
The family of bed-ridden grandmother Dorothy Hacking blame Thanet Council for 'disgusting treatment' after the pensioner became overstretched trying to pay for work to meet government regulations to reduce CO2 emissions.
They say she was beset by stress and health problems after being left with no option but to take out a second mortgage for the stone-cladding repairs to make her home compliant with the Home Energy Conservation Act in Ramsgate, Kent.
As her daughter reports:
She was financially stretched to the limit, worried about putting the heating on in case she couldn't pay the bills and had no idea what to do if another big bill arrived from the council.
The council maintained the work was essential to comply with the Home Energy Conservation Act which requires it to reduce its CO2 emission by 30 per cent within 10 years.
CO2, as all but the most gullible fools are aware, is totally harmless; laws restricting it are anything but.

I can't beleive this!!!!
This global warming shit is out of control. I would fight that silly council tooth and nail! It's time for people of the world to stand up to this kind of envirofacism.
All I know is that this past summer was quite mild compared to others and this winter is getting to the point of extreme cold. I will never buy into to the global warming. Wake up people and smell the coffee.....ITS COLD AS HELL AND GETTING COOLER! You can't grow food in the cold. The new ice age is at hand.

In other words, whenever the council dreams up new taxes and new regulations, the lessees are required to pay up. Nice little gangster paradise the socialists have built in Britain.

In Oxford there was a stink when my landlord rebuilt the wall around the house; the bricks didn't look old enough accordintg to the city council. The option was to tear down the wall and use older-looking bricks or to cover it with ivy. Oh, and they dictated the species of ivy.
