I mention it because it ends with an interview with the filmmaker starting at 1:12:11. He says at 1:12:45 or soon after "that there wouldn't be any laughter for about 10 or 15 minutes after someone died"

At least he explains this was his experience with screening earlier takes of the movie in front of live audiences. Perhaps its different with War footage viewed alone on a computer, but in general when someone is dying onscreen, even the bad guys, many people don't laugh and actually are not laughing for a bit.

Fine Ahht, it most likely true that when a decent and honorable person dies that it's not particularly funny.

However when some douchebag suicide/terrorist dies without hurting anyone but himself in his terrorist zeal, it is tremendously funny.

At least to most people who have no sympathy for terrorist assholes and unfortunately this is a place that feels very little pity for terrorists, and even less for terrorists that are so stupid as to blow themselves up.
