And even though the bill was written by Congressional Democrats, they still manage to blame Bush,

BEAUTIFUL! Hey there, darlin'. You see how it all comes back to bite you in the ass? You were sitting there, sipping your organic herbal tea, thinking "how, like, ORGANIC" that the government is going to regulate all the toys so they'll be "like, safe" for all the kids. Yep! It just about put a tingle in your Birkenstocks, didn't it!

OOPS. Now it's going to destroy your vendors and put you out of business. "But, like, that's not even fair!" That's right, Fairy Dust. It's not. Welcome to Socialism In Action.

This is EXACTLY like the new report that shows using Google (a "Green" company) for two internet searches produces as much Co2 as boiling a pot of water (gasp!). OOPS. All of the screaming and demands and "studies" and "research" suddenly comes home and (once again) bites 'em in the ass.

They don't know what to do (but they sure won't turn off all their equipment. It's important to be "Green" when you can tell the OTHER guy he has to destroy his business or lifestyle. Ain't so easy when it's YOU. Hey GOOGLE! You tellin' me it's not worth shutting down your service to SAVE MOTHER GAIA?)

Anyhow...enjoy the friuts of your actions, hypocrites! You've just "Green"ed your way out of existence. Oh...and the world is getting cooler by the way. Hope you have an environmentally friendly jacket handy!

Brought to you by the same government that (a) can penalize you for keeping home-grown crops for personal use instead of selling them on the market (it happened during the 1930's - the Supreme Court said it was OK), and (b) pays farmers to not grow crops.
"We had to destroy the free market in order to save it."
p.s. - too bad the ecobaby girl is probably a raving moonbat; she's cute.

If I wasn't a capitalist pig, I'd give a damn about your sitation. But I am so too bad.

Posted by: Big_Daddy at January 11, 2009 12:44 PM

Liberal stupdidy they get dumb laws passed then whine when they have to abide by the law SORRY LIBERALS BUT YOUR TURKEYS HAVE COME HOME TO ROOST

Posted by: Spurwing Plover at January 11, 2009 12:50 PM

being green is a bourgoisie luxury...

green costs more than not green... therefore you need a robust middle and upper class.

her problem is that she decided to be a capitalist among socialists.

wish someone would write her and tell her now shw knows why russia still doesnt produce much of anything.

that her desire to have things controled, has led to them controlling them... but doing so the EXPENSIVE way by spending up front as if every item was bad, rather on the back end where only those who actually hurt pay thorugh liability.

of course, someons should tell her that she is also going go get clipped for electricity going up, and that she is a businessowner and so gets to pay hiher taxes as they presume she ows (like the guilty till proven innocent tax thing i get every quarter because they know that some bisinesses will pay that illegal tax for unemployment rather than know that without employees my one company doesnt pay unemployment since the owner cant fire himself and collect. duh... )

she didnt realize that now she ahs to franchise with a centralized company who will suck her dry for the name and cache, because small mom and pop businesses are a BIG no no in collectives...

kulaks, small farmers who hired and employeed others to work larger parcels of land and live better,

result... enemies of the state.

she is now an enemy of hte new socialist state.

sigh

I've noticed that it takes a liberal about two years to realize what a conservative sees immediately. They are intellectual surface dwellers that dive right into an idea without thinking about what lies beneath. In this case, on the surface, is their belief that big government is a benefit to the people. Lying in the depths is an epiphemy to knock their heads against; "now I understand why conservatives are against government encroachment into out lives".

They are the authors of the Law of Unintended Consequences. What can a conservative do but enjoy a moment of schadenfreude and tell them "We tried to tell you but you got all defensive and had to do it your way. Go for it".

Oh man, at 2:00 Jason Gear Photo "JourMalist" is credited.

Shut TeeVee down NOW.

She was all for regulation of the toy industry, but didn't anticipate that it would affect her as a toy seller? This comes to her as a great surprise? What a moron.

Of course, that was apparent from her babbling about "organic" toys and products. Someone needs to remind her and all other nitwits who consider "organic" to be "healthy" that curare, cobra venom, saxitoxin, and botilinum toxin are also organic.

Hahaha. Now THAT"S really funny. Gee, I feel so bad for them. Well, actually not.

Love it! An incipient conservative in the offing (with many more to follow once His Enormity and the 100% Dhimmicrat Congress start imposing their Marxism on all of these fools who thought they were getting "change we [could] believe in," instead of Stalinist oppression, destruction of the private sector, and government control over every aspect of their formerly free lives (soon to include their health care, about to be "free" to all Moonbats, just inaccessible -- I look forward to your stunned expression when some idiocrat in D.C. tells you you can't have that life-saving surgery because it "costs too much" -- yeah, gotta save up to preserve the planet and keep everything "green" -- hilarious!).

Look for a genuine Counter Anti-American Revolution, coming soon to a Moonbat Autocracy near you . . .

Well, quite a few conservatives are "liberals who've been mugged".

Hopefully the gal in the video figures it out.

For me, one of lifes greatest pleasures is watching a liberal run head-long into reality. It's like seeing a vampire being hit by sunlight. It's obviously very difficult for liberals to deal with (or even accept) reality, since they choose to live by that famous liberal motto, "do as we say, not as we do".

I've watched this video a couple of times, and I'm pretty sure this one still hasn't made the connection between moonbattery and the ruin of her business. She still has that glassy-eyed look going when she ought to be outraged. Maybe she just needs something a little stronger to put her over the top.

Posted by: forest at January 12, 2009 5:13 AM

I love how she says she thought the additional regulation was wonderful, that is until it effected her, then its ridiculous.

Posted by: DarthT at January 12, 2009 5:15 AM

To Tiffany Moonbat and the other organic-types like her:

NOW do you understand why conservatives don't like government intervention in, well, anything?

NOW do you understand that regulations inevitably lead to higher costs and can, sometimes, become prohibitive to the people affected?

NOW do you understand that actions have consequences, and government actions have bigger consequences?

NOW do you understand that government actions frequently have unintended consequences that are often worse than the original problem?

You really don't, do you? You'll keep calling for more regulations and more taxes on businesses (which, BTW, means you, sweetheart), and you'll keep voting Democrat like the good little lamb that you are. You'll keep blaming Bush for everything (as a previous comment mentioned, this law was written by Democrats), because the media told you that all of the world's problems are his fault. And you'll be wondering why no one can afford to buy your merchandise and why many of your vendors have stopped, um, vending. You'll drag all of us down with you through your blind devotion to the notion that government action is the answer, ignoring millions of lives lost and thousands of years of struggle for freedom, and numerous examples of the failures of socialism and government meddling ("socialism lite", as it were). And still you won't get it.

The guy in that video looks like he might just be capable of a clue, like he either has or is just about to put two and two together. Except he's probably from the public schools, so he'll get 5, but at least he might reason out the cause of all of this trouble. And no, I don't mean Bush, though it's not for lack of trying. Miss Tiffany is probably a lost cause.

One of the unintended consequences of regulatory acts and regulatory mandates is that it undermines the concept of proof of guilt and legal justice. In a society based on freedom a person would have to be taken to court and it would have to be proved with evidence that they had done specific harm. Regulatory Acts and Regulatory Agencies actually undermine the very notion of justice in the minds of a society. That's a horrendous unintended consequence.

Tiffany Bjorlie, tears will dry.

I guess this is what it sounds like, when moonbats cry...

Hahahahahahaha!
