Pittsburgh Adopts Another Communist Sister City
More moonbattery from the erstwhile Steel City:
Pittsburgh now has another sister city: Danang, Vietnam.
The motion passed in city council [last] Tuesday and Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Nguyen Tien Minh from the Vietnam Embassy, signed papers bonding the two cities.
Pittsburgh's other sister cities include the communist wonderland of Matanzas, Cuba. But that's topped by San Francisco, which is rumored to be sister cities with the Ninth Circle of Hell. Some say this is how the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals got its name.
On a tip from General Jack D. Ripper.

What is it about living in a large city that turns one into an idiot moonbat? The residents of cities like Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Newark (and on and on) get ever higher taxes and ever diminished standards of living, but they vote the same wretched scum and villains into office time and time again.
Why are liberals so stupid?

Danang has the better baseball team

V the K:
Down here in Texas the difference is on display:
Dallas has an amazing set of problems: DISD budget issues, high crime, an unsafe downtown...
Meanwhile, Fort Worth is a safe, clean city with a vibrant downtown in Sundance Square, lowering crime, etc...
What's the difference?
Fort Worth votes for Republicans, Dallas votes for Democrats.

At least the Picksburgh Steelers managed to beat Dallas and that pretty boy Romo.

Yeah but Tony Romo is not beneath picking up Nick Lachey's sloppy seconds... (Jessica "Chicken of the Sea" Simpson)

I will always love Pittsburgh, not it's politicians of course, but the city. I wonder how many Pittsburgh Vietnam vets who fought in and around Danang feel about this. I'm guessing they're not too happy, but why should that bother the likes of the moonbat Ravenstahl?

Methinks the Pitts could do well to learn about breakbeck-paced capitalism from the burgeoning market economy of Vietnam!

I'd like to visit Vietnam, just to see what capitalism is like.
