Paterson's Tax Hikes to Cost New York Families $4,000 per Year
Moonbattery isn't cheap, especially for New Yorkers under the regime of second-string governor David Paterson, whose extravagant tax hikes will cost the average family of four nearly $4,000 per year:
The average family of four in New York would have to dish out $3,875 a year in new taxes and fees if Gov. David Paterson's budget proposal is approved, a review Thursday by Assembly Republicans shows.
But at least in exchange for the money, Paterson will keep you safe from soda pop.
On a tip from Bradshaw.

Not everybody in New York lives on Park Ave. The rest of us don't have an extra $4K lying around to pay for moonbattery. Everybody thinks that Democrats have New York locked up forever and ever. That's not necessarily true. Pataki, Rudy, D'Amato, King, many local officeholders. NY also went with Reagan along with everyone else.
Overreaching will be the moonbats' downfall.

So it seems to be a thing that Democrats rail against middle class oppression to get into power, only to oppress the middle class. Is anyone still expecting Obama's magic tax cuts to appear?

Anybody who believed that 95% gibberish of his was just plain stupid. If I could have a wish, it would be to send everybody in this country, babies included, to a basic economics class. Obama included, for that matter.

They want to help make sure the poor stay dependent on the nanny state and to create future leeches.
