The few young people they have in Greece are tearing the place apart. It doesn't bode well for the future of that country. Their anemic birth rate had already pretty much doomed them, so they're going to go down in an inferno instead of opting to fade away.

I thought the BO birth certificate issue was always a non-issue.



However, now I believe that the SCOTUS has just made it one. By dismissing the issue without comment, we now have a new de-facto law of the land, viz, The natural-born citizen requirement for President of the United States only requires certification by heresay.

Under the circumstances, proof is what someone says it is. So now all it now takes is for any state bureaucrat to say they’ve seen a birth certificate in a drawer, lock that drawer up, and anyone from anywhere can be the President.



This stupidity sets up the groundwork for massive litigation and a possible constitutional crisis.
And you can be sure BO will continue to spend big bucks to fight to keep his birth certificate,(?) as well as any of his related academic records, sequestered.

Not to mention that he in contrast will need a tightened-down primary litmus test for any nominee for the Supreme Court…Can’t imagine what that test might be but it will definitely be a disgrace to the Constitution.

Those plans don’t include eliminating prostitution and drugs but rather upgrading the town with boutiques and art galleries in the De Wallen area so that people aren’t embarrassed to visit that section of the city which has been the hooker capital of Europe for four hundred years.

Amsterdam’s stated reasons for tidying up its act are ridding certain areas of organized crime and money laundering by drug dealers.

Go figure! Who would have thought that sex shops, brothels, and unrestricted drug use would attract criminal elements?

Apparently those enterprises are too lucrative to banish and de-legalize. Tourists, druggies and horny johns are stuffed with euros and the Netherlands hauls in bunches of them through taxation.

“I think that the new reality will be more in line with our image as a tolerant and crazy place, rather than a free zone for criminals” said a city council member who added, “It’ll be a place with 200 windows (for prostitutes) and 30 coffee shops, which you can’t find anywhere else in the world - very exciting, but also with cultural attractions.”

I don't know who listens to the radio show Walton and Johnson. They are great. They were playing a clip the other day. I don't know how they got it. It was obviously a black woman (am I allowed to say that), who was getting phone calls from a collection agency/bank about a car they had. She was leaving an "ugly" message to the bank about it.

In the message, in all sorts of horrible, broken English, she told them things such as "the car was at da shop, and anodder part is at da other shop....if you want dis car back, you gone' have to go pay da man at da shop, and go pay da man at da other shop to get the car..."

"you been callin and callin me. I tole you the car at da shop....we ain't rich like you folks, we not rich, but....now...(Pause...wait for it)....we got Barack Obama (pause) NOW..." click.

It was funny, yet scary. This is what people think of Barack Obama. He's going to sweep in and make all your troubles go away. (well, if you're black, anyway). He's going to pay for your car that you can't afford. He's going to buy gas for you, pay your house note or rent, give you more money, etc.... It was funny listening to it on the radio, but a bit bad too. Even if it was a hoax, it definitely represents reality!!! Very realistic.

vtk - having worked for a very large law enforcement entity - i used to take our quarterly magazines home and open them to the most gruesome accidents i could find of teens in accidents (mostly under the influence) and leave them open on my then teen daughter's pillow with a note to read the accompanying article.

she used to get so upset, but i told her that if she EVER had a choice of riding with a drunk driver home from a party or if she drank to call somebody to come and get her. apparently it worked as years later my youngest sister spilled the beans on her about the times she called her for a ride.

i'm thankful for the "tough love" episodes as is she now - a 35 year old productive member of society with four children of her own to fret over.
