Manmade Global Warming Crisis Started Thousands of Years Ago
Humanity's sins against Gaia didn't start with SUVs, or even the invention of the steam engine. We began to cause global warming by indulging in agriculture thousands of years ago:
[G]athering physical evidence, backed by powerful simulations on the world's most advanced computer climate models, is reshaping that view and lending strong support to the radical idea that human-induced climate change began not 200 years ago, but thousands of years ago with the onset of large-scale agriculture in Asia and extensive deforestation in Europe.
What's more, according to the same computer simulations, the cumulative effect of thousands of years of human influence on climate is preventing the world from entering a new glacial age, altering a clockwork rhythm of periodic cooling of the planet that extends back more than a million years.
How horrible: half the planet could be snuggled under a comfy blanket of ice, but we humans ruined it by insisting on feeding ourselves.
It's tempting to demand an immediate ban on both industry and agriculture. But the global warming priesthood has other solutions:
Global warming, some have argued, can be reversed with a large-scale "geoengineering" fix, such as having a giant blimp spray liquefied sulfur dioxide in the stratosphere or building tens of millions of chemical filter systems in the atmosphere to filter out carbon dioxide.
Trees wouldn't like it if we filtered out the carbon dioxide they breathe; they probably wouldn't like having the entire atmosphere poisoned with sulfur dioxide either. But trees aren't important, because when we solve the global warming crisis, they'll get crushed under advancing glaciers anyway.

I've created a computer simulation that proves the more society listens to and acts on the ideas of moonbattery the further that society sinks into chaos, anarchy, and death on a grand scale.

Tens of millions of chemical filter systems in the atmosphere to filter out carbon dioxide.
We already have those. They're called "trees."

Kevin R I've also played Fallout 3 its an awesome simulation of the future with libs in charge.

Reminds me of the Matrix:
"...we burned the sky, that much we know..."
Hubris is catching on in DC, they say...

And yet over those thousands of years life on Earth has not only survived but thrived. Make of that what you will.

Wait a minute. Is there a tacit admission in that quote that climate is not constant, but can grow warmer and cooler on its own? And yet the still contend that we control the climate, but not the other way around? Ye gods!
And as to their proposed "solutions", yeah, I'm sure THOSE won't have any negative or unforeseen consequences. Spraying sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere? Seriously? You want to pollute the atmosphere with sulfur dioxide??? Think about what you are proposing!
And V the K got to it before I could. We call carbon-dioxide scrubbing devices "trees" down here on Planet Earth; at least, where the sane people live, we do. And what's the betting that if some moonbat "scientists" do invent a CO2 scrubbing machine that it emits a bunch of nasty pollutants in the process, and yet the left will ooh and aah over it like they've never seen such beauty?

Now we've hit the issue I'm most worried about. The economic and political agenda of AGW is bad enough, but the TRUE BELIEVERS are willing to actually start modifying the planet.
These same "scientists" just came out two days ago and admitted that their models for the earths magnetic fields were totally wrong and they had no idea why certain things were happening the way they were. THEY WERE JUST AS SURE ABOUT THAT AS THEY ARE ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING.
The left will NEVER let this issue go. It is exactly the same as the Nazis and the Jews: Jews worked as a political rallying point, so if they had to wipe out a few million of 'em to stay in power OH WELL. Same thing here. Now "humans for THOUSANDS OF YEARS HAVE SCREWED UP THE CLIMATE". They will never admit they are lying. "Our models show..." Yeah, and who made the models?
We must stop them. Now. NEVER give in to this agenda anymore than you would to the extermination of the Jews. These are the new Nazis.

Did anyone hear Rush today at about 12:15? He reported that a scientific model has determined that the length of days has been decreasing by two minutes per day, and at this rate, it will be total blackness by June. Many crops have stopped growing, millions of birds have fled. Insects are nowhere to be seen. Some mammals lie in torpor in their dens. We must take immediate and drastic action if we are to avert total blackness by July at the latest.

I wonder if the palpable distaste for humanity and its activities that is displayed by moonbats is related to the Bible teaching that humans were created in God's image?
At one point I was very unwilling to take much of the Bible at all literally. The more I see and hear of moonbats and their various agendas the more it hits me that that book is eerily accurate in many, many, many ways.
