Ikea Accused of Oppressing Reindeer

Moonbats had better think twice before sitting on furniture from Ikea, which stands accused of oppressing reindeer by selling salami made from their meat.

It is alleged that reindeer ranching causes the animals "mental and physical stress." Worse still, the animal welfare group Viva! claims that many reindeer are never allowed to frolic in the snow. Viva! demands that Ikea stop selling the salami in its Swedish food halls.

Presumably it will be replaced with delicious tofu salami, so that no mental or physical stress is involved, except to people trying to eat it.

It's okay, Rudolph. Moonbats will keep you safe from humans.

I wouldnt eat Rudolf meat. Its likely the glowing nose is caused by exposure to radioactive waste dumped in the Artic Ocean by the Russians.

i imagine the taste of reindeer is probably akin to elk - which makes great jerky.

as for frolicking in the snow, you can pretty much walk up on an elk and plug it from point blank range.

cows with racks - that's all they are.

I live out in the sticks but I have yet to see reindeer frolicking in snow.

IN my freezer: 8# of deer sirlion, 5# of deer tenderlion, 3# of deer sausage, and various cuts of meat for stewing (3 to 4 lbs). What's for dinner tonight? Oh! Lets not forget the terriyaki jerky in the meat keeper for the before meal snack!

Better pick up some charcole and hickory chips on the way home.

Reindeer are heterosexual, therefore they do not frolic.

I have never eaten reindeer meat, but NOW THAT THEY MENTION IT, I think I should eat some before passing judgement on this.

Thanks for telling me about this, animal lovers!

I just checked the Ikea website... apparently, they don't sell reindeer meat online. Dang, that was going to make a great snack while Christmas dinner was being prepared.
