Eating the Free Soup Americans Won't Eat

This should come as no surprise: the illegal aliens who have been flooding into the country, supposedly to do work Americans aren't willing to do, are still here even though the work isn't. Westchester County, New York's Journal News weeps for the plight of the undocumented and unemployed in Port Chester:

Jose Antonio Correa folded his hands and bowed his head in prayer over a lunch tray.
Correa, who is looking for carpentry work after losing his pizzeria job four months ago, is grateful for the hamburger and soup he gets at the Don Bosco Community Center.
… Selvin Maldonado, 35, gets a meal at the kitchen almost every day, now that he has been out of work for the past month.
… Ovidio Cifuentes, who last worked in Greenwich three weeks earlier, worried about not being able to send money home to his parents and girlfriend in Guatemala. He used to make $500 a week from painting and putting up gypsum wallboard. He eats at the soup kitchen to save the little money he has.
"This is a place we can eat and we don't have the extra expense of buying food when we're not working," he said in Spanish.
Correa said not having a job stirs up the anxiety he felt when he decided to leave Honduras 10 years ago.

I'm feeling some anxiety too: over the implications of having allowed tens of millions of unskilled Third-Worlders, many of whom aren't even learning English, to pour across our unguarded border, now that the economy won't support them anymore. Out of sheer moonbattery we have imported a time bomb that will start going off within the next few years.

On a tip from Wiggins.

Because man did not repent of their sins and continue to brake the commandments of God, in the old testament: he caused the foreingers to go in and to possess the land. I believe the same events have been taking place since the foreingers arriived. They have been prospering and educating themselves. When I read the old testament and compare the events that accurred with the foreingers back then, history is repeating it self.

2nd chronicle chapter 7 verse 14... Reads..if my people who are called by name(God)will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked way then they will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin then will I heal their land.

(Bible.com) study the bible for your self.
Read the book of Lamentation chapter 5 verses1,2,3,4,5. and chapter 5 verse2

Read Isaiah chapter 1 verse 7.

God' said I caused the foreingers to possess the land and do not harm them.

deport 'em

I admit that I do feel a bit bad for them. After all, they are at least trying to find productive work to support themselves. They should not be here illegally, but at least we don't yet have England's problem, where the illegals pour in and sit on their backsides in government-provided housing with a government-provided stipend. Of course, the surest way to not end up that way is to crack down on illegals now, before it becomes a problem.

If they want to live and work here, let them take the steps to be here legally. Until such time, they have to leave.

Dont harm the foreigners, just deport them.

Though most of them do a stronger work ethic than most native born Americans.

The only good thing about the declining economy is that it will force many of THEM to go home on their own.

"....many of whom aren't even learning English"

This fact above gripes me more than anything.

And yes, I see them out there trying to work every day when I drive by the local home improvement store.

But, a few years back I had to go to the local Welfare office to help an elderly neighbor get assistance. While we waited 6 hours, "foreigner" after "foreigner" were gently guided into offices where they came out smiling like they had won the lottery. When I said "foreigner" I actually should have said Mexican as I was living in California at tha time. Towards the end of our wait a family who didn't speak English or Spanish were were finally allowed to meet with a counselor because they had finally found an interpreter who spoke Romanian or something to that effect.

When they finally called my neighbor (Caucasian, 3rd generation born American) to a counselor's office, we were met with contempt and condescension. I finally asked to speak to someone higher up as I felt our "counsellor" was being rude, but when that particular person arrived I immediately knew it was of no use; she spoke broken English and seemed to dislike having to even be in the general vicinity of 2 Caucasian people.

So yes, many of them try to work, but probably just as many are living off the system.

Either way, not assimilating to our culture is the most disturbing part of all.

Lastly:
"Out of sheer moonbattery we have imported a time bomb that will start going off within the next few years."

Time bomb...what a perfect description.

Hmmm...

I wonder if currently unemployed illegal aliens are going to form the bulk of the labor force for Obama's projected public works projects?

There are times I wish I could pass myself off as a Mexican. I could really use some of the help we give to people who are not citizens and have never paid taxes.

Please spare me the bleeding heart piffle. Tell it to the saps who've been paying lawyers and waiting for years to get in legally.

Paco, I've wondered the same thing.
