Bailout for Abortion Mills
It's already gotten to the point that you don't need to be in trouble to get a bailout; you just need to be in ideological sync with the moonbats running our government. Planned Parenthood, the McDonald's of abortion, is flush with cash thanks to the $millions of our money bureaucrats shower down upon it. Yet these baby-butchering "family planners" are asking for the equivalent of an auto industry bailout, having sent the Illustrious Office of the President Elect a 50-page proposal that includes the following demands:
• $1 BILLION dollars in taxpayer funding for International Abortion Groups
• $700 million in taxpayer funding for "Title X" Health Clinics (aka your local Planned Parenthood affiliate)
• $65 million for the UNFPA, an international aid organization connected to coercive abortion as part of China's coercive one-child policy
• Repeal the Hyde Amendment — Vastly expanding federal taxpayer funding for abortions
• Include Abortion coverage in any taxpayer-subsidized national health care program
• Expand taxpayer-funded abortions on military bases
• Expand taxpayer-funded abortions through the Peace Corps program
• Expand taxpayer-funded abortions for federal prisoners
If Obama says no to abortionists, it will be a first. But you can say no by signing a petition against this moonbattery.
Hat tip: Stop the ACLU; on a tip from Kristy.

Вот странно: все пишут в блогах на такие разные темы, а о любви и чувствах к близким так мало. Такое впечатление, что в сети все стали такими безчувственными :(

Sickening. I don't think many will stand for this, but outside of this site, I doubt this will get any coverage so anyone will be aware. The MSM will bury this to protect the '0ne'.

And all approved by the demoncrat party of evil

They could abort babies much cheaper if they just had some goon punch the pregnant women in the stomach.

Are you the goon applying for the job?
Posted by: Dennis at December 17, 2008 8:24 AM
why do they need a bailout? they've been realizing profits for several years - pretty good for a non-profit organization raping the tax system.

Outside of this site? Not on your life! Refer it to Pajamas Media, PJM. American Thinker, American Spectator, NRO, Sweetness and Light.
Anon, did you have a point with your post?

Fortunaly, there's one prez that WON'T give them a bailout and his name is God.
Posted by: Big_Daddy at December 17, 2008 9:04 AM
I should have put 'outside of the blogs'. The mainstream won't carry this, lest the people learn the true nature of the annointed one.

Supposedly, the proposal is on change.gov somewhere; does anyone have a link to this?
Posted by: Henry at December 17, 2008 11:16 AM
The upside to this (in a macabre way) is that they are slowly but surely killing themselves off by constantly aborting their babies.
Conservatives (and most middle roaders) do not do abortions. The weight of history is on our side. In the short term we have to suffer from these jerks, but over the long haul I see light at the end of the tunnel. Once the darned Baby Boomers start dying off there'll be a swing toward sanity.

OK I found the link.

Oh, how this sickens me. I can't believe they had the audacity to do this when they are currently under investigation for not reporting possible felonies in Indiana. (LilaRose's undercover videos)
But of course, their employees are only 'suspended' and will get off with maybe a slap on the wrist, while a man who merely stood a little too close to a clinic with a pro-life sign is in quite a bit of trouble.

Why are they so busy screaming "pro-choice!" and "it's my body!!"? then turn around and want taxpayers involved? If it's your choice and your body, then why should my tax money pay for it!?!?! Learn to keep your pants on if you don't want a baby. Sorry if that sounds rude. It just aggravates me.

What the hell is "goon punch" anon 12-17-08 @ 8:16am?
Some of my students at college would often make cracks about something called a 'falcon punch'. I am assuming it is the same thing.
Basically, it is a hard punch into the uterus of a newly pregnant woman in hopes of sparking a miscarriage.
Charming, is it not? {sarcasm}
Apparently, it is an 'internet meme'. If you can stand it, Google 'falcon punch'. I'll not deign to post any links here. But have a bucket handy to hurl into.
It is shameful what little regard today's youth have for human life. Especially the most innocent of them all: the unborn.

Isn't partial birth abortion when they suck the baby's brains out?
If we stop doing that, where will new conservatives come from?
Posted by: DINO ABORTS YOU at December 17, 2008 9:01 PM
Dino apparently has yet to put two and two together regarding Roe vs. Wade and the stubborn, gradual decline of Democrat voters.
Posted by: mandible claw at December 18, 2008 12:24 AM
He meant gradual moral decline.
Not shocked that slipped past your *cough* vast intellect.
Now, I am off to do some PT before work. Got to stay in shape so I can keep working hard to pay welfare for people like you and your fellow leeches, Dino.
Posted by: Mike at December 18, 2008 2:46 AM
Dino, you are a dipshit and you will die broke and gay. I laugh at you. Hahahahahahahahaha. BEGONE!

If you figure that the gov't give PP $332m a year-which is the number you're complaining about-and that there are right around 100 individual affiliates of the national office. And that of those 100 individual affiliates have an average of 20-30 clinics. Take in to account that most affliates see an average of 40,000 patients every year and that the money from the gov't is not used for abortion services but for cancer, std screening, pap smears, prostate exams and other such reproductive health care-that includes prenatal care for women (like sonograms)-for men and women it works out to roughly $4/person.
Did you know that just a basic sonogram costs roughly $100+? More if you want pictures printed. Or that some std testing can be up to $400 for one test?
Or that clinics often run at a $20k-$30k operating loss just to stay open and provide safety net health care services to people with little or no income or insurance?
And that $50m "profit" is less than 5% of the total operating budget? What other "business" do you know that would be able to stay afloat on less than 5% of their annual budget?
And to whoever said that conservatives and middle of the roaders don't "do" abortions, whether you like it or not it is statistically impossible that 100% of abortions preformed every year are only preformed on liberals and commies.
For the record? NO ONE is pro-abortion. How many abortions did you prevent today? I bet not as many as PP does through safe sex education and family planning services that don't have anything to do with what you hate PP so much for.
