Veterans for Peace Occupy National Archives
Actually, all they really occupied was some scaffolding on the front, despite the grandiose hyperbole at After Downing Street. One security guard thought they were there to sand the front of the building. Nonetheless, Vets for Peace have struck a mighty symbolic blow against the War on Terror — as if it won't be abandoned anyway, once the Moonbat Messiah takes power. The paranoid moonbat being interviewed has been identified as Jim Goodnow. The glorious military career of this particular Veteran for Peace consists of two years in the Coast Guard starting in 1959 and ending two years later when he got a medical discharge.
As indicated by the "Impeach Nixon" sticker on the moonbats' car, liberals are intent on pulling us through a time warp, back to the miserable 1970s — if not the 1930s.

At the risk of stereotyping myself for all eternity, I was a young person during the 60s.
I find it APPALLING that people today want to to go back to that era (error). May I politely shout: "GET OVER IT, A*SHoles!" Invent your own GD culture. And to my contemporaries who still live in some drug-induced stupor of "Love/flowers/drugs, man" while somebody else foots the bills (there's that "Big Daddy/Big Mamma" analogy, again): No wonder your kids are so f*cked up! It is NOT the 60s, it is 2008. Obama is NOT Kennedy; if y'all care to do some real historical research based on FACT, Kennedy wasn't even Kennedy! Wake up to reality, for God's sake.

Yes. And. No. McLame was not a Republican/Conservative. He was and is an out and out RINO. He was a stalking horse in this election. He was never meant to win.
All of that not withstanding, to elect an empty suit from the Chicago machine politics as opposed to electing a military and political veteran such as McCain shows you the infantile mentality of the American voter. My goodness, I had family (dyed in the wool Democrat) females in Chicago vote just to cast one for Sarah. McCain espoused all the values of the liberal Demoncrat party. So, when libs cannot vote for a like minded lib you know the whole thing is bent.

People caught up in the two party duopoly need to wake up. Both parties are the exact same thing with different window dressing. There will be no change in this country until we truely stand up for our rights. While "republicans" and "democrats" continue arguing about trivial BS, like gay rights and abortion, the banks and corporations are destroying our country. Both parties are filled with a bunch of corporate whores and bank owned slaves.
