Republicans Rebel Against McCain's Campaign-Finance Idiocy
There is one good thing about the election of the Moonbat Messiah: the era of the misguided RINO John McCain is finally ending:
The Republican Party will file federal lawsuits Thursday seeking to overthrow the McCain-Feingold federal campaign finance regulations, Republican National Committee Chairman Robert M. "Mike" Duncan revealed Wednesday night at a private dinner with the nation's Republican governors.
The move is considered a slap in the face of the Republican Party's failed 2008 presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain of Arizona, who was dramatically outspent by Democrat Barack Obama, and of President Bush, who signed McCain-Feingold into law in 2002.
McMaverick was hoisted on his own anti-Constitutional petard. Unfortunately the entire party was hoisted along with him, as less money was available for congressional races due to coordination restrictions.
His campaign-finance idiocy — backed to the hilt by the left-wing media and signed into law by a certain stooge who probably thought he could count on the Supremes to strike it down — makes it all the easier for zillionaire moonbats like George Soros to influence elections through 527s. With any luck, Republicans will rid the system of this albatross — though their most important tasks are to clean out the RINOs and to come up with some decent candidates.

On a tip from Al C.

John McFeingold voted "Least Favorite Person On The Right."
This is just unfair and wrong. By what stretch of the imagination is Maverick McAmnesty "on the right?"

A-frigging-MEN to this post, Bro. Throw out the RINO and the RINO dung he brought with him.
McLame didn't just shoot himself in the foot, he shot the GOP in the foot and we'll all be limping for at least four years.
IDIOT! Let's hope the "maverick" got his picture in the New York Times enough to make it all worthwhile for him.

It is not totally suprising that McCain got so many House Republicans to sheepishly go along with Mc-F. I think that a lot of otherwise conservative Republicans have simply been eviscerated by relentless thugishness and pressures from liberal colleagues. Of course a lot of Republicans were gutless to begin with, or like Lincoln Chaffe, mentally unsound.
McCain in my opinion, was the Pavlov dog of the democrats: the more the liberal media dangled his mushy policies in the news, the more reinforcing they were for him. Mc-F, a clearly unconstitutional proposition but like Prohibition, awkwardly successful, produced a classically-conditioned politician and a copiously salivating RINO in McCain. Without a solid conservative philosophy, he needed liberal reinforcement and continued to move into ever more cloudy liberalism, finally barking for illegal immigration.
I wouldn't be at all suprised if McCain now started to work desperately to pass the "Fairness" Doctrine, since he has been dropped unceremoniously by the media as Trained Media Republican.

McSame-Feingold worked just dandy for Soros-Dems. Shamnesty, global warming, thank God they weren't passed. Gramps has been wrong on almost every single major issue except the surge. I pray this old democrat retires soon. He has hurt republicans tremendously.
Maybe he can get a job as Leno's sidekick.

Too little, too late.

Great Pic of McCain Van.
Well, with the Gay people attacking the LDS bunch, Romney is out in 2012.
The other shoe has fallen on the stupid bill that McCain allowed himself to push and then be punished (litterly up the arse) with.

Agree with you KHarn, "too little, too late," but Thank You!, Mike Duncan (and others) for FINALLY starting to stand up and be counted, for throwing out (and keep it up!) all the Democrats-in-all-but-name-only, and getting back to genuine conservative values. I am one of no doubt many millions who are sick and tired of these "reformed" conservatives bringing down the Republican Party (making it "Democrat-lite") -- it doesn't have to be Sarah Palin (and in fact, it may not be, ultimately), but she certainly appears to have what's necessary to revive Reagan conservatism across the country, so I say, "Go For It, Girl!"
