Obama Admits He Will Make Energy Costs "Skyrocket"

There's more to Obama's energy plan than bankrupting coal power plants. He also intends to make energy prices "skyrocket":

The money quote:

Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.

The ostensible point is to save the polar bears from the nonexistent global warming hoax. Considering that it hasn't gotten any warmer for 10 years now, chances are good the plan will succeed. More to the actual point, it may also succeed in causing an economic crisis severe enough to enable The One & Co. to give us a hard push toward Soviet-style economic "fairness."
