Multiculturalism Versus the Homosexual Agenda

It looks like moonbattery is becoming a house divided against itself. California's Proposition 8 banning homosexual marriage passed thanks to the votes of blacks and Hispanics:

Chinese don't like homosexual marriage either — even in San Franfreakshow.

Here I was thinking that if not for Republicans, the whole world would join hands and sing in harmony.

On tips from Al C.

Liberals tripping over their OWN hypocrisy...ROTFLMAO!!

Notice how long it takes the veneer of tolerance and diversity to come off these people once those things no longer suit their aims? There were news stories of gangs of homosexuals going around California shouting about "n****rs" because of the role of black evangelicals and the wider black community in passing it.

Ostensibly because not being able to call a union, in which pretty precisely much the same rights can be obtained as a marriage, a marriage, is a heinous oppression of innocent gay people.

Whereas the word "n****r" is a totally fair call to make on one's political opponents and has no connotations of oppression at all.

Or something. It's a little hard to keep up with what the Current Truth is with leftards since it changes constantly to fit whatever flight of fancy they are currently embarking on.

The libs are realizing you can't promise everyone a whole pie and bake just one. Its just like their attempt at sucking up to Islamist terrorist. They hate gays, yet the libs try so hard to get on their good side. You can't use a cracked pillar to support your cause.

I am going to have some tacos today.

I thouroughly enjoyed watching this video.

As a former Hil Dem whose vote was violated in the FL Presidential primary, I chose to vote for the best and most qualified people for the office of President/VP on November 4, John McCain and Sarah Palin. I owe this great insight on my part to the dienfranchisment of my vote and voice by the DNC. Now it gives me great pleasure to watch the party implode. How are the gays going to reconcile themselves to the fact that the very same people in their party of "change" kneecapped them? Are they going to ignore it and blame the poor Mormons, whose presence is small in state of Californication, or will they step up to the plate and realize that their party royally screwed them in order to get their own agenda met, that is, the election of Obama, much like it screwed 3 million voters in Florida and Michigan? In the next few months, watch the scapegoats magically appear as the pro-gay-marriage supporters in FL and CA try to blame everybody but the obvious culprits for its failures. PS: I voted AGAINST the ban in FL; voted FOR McCain/Palin. Just goes to show y'all can't judge a person by their political party affiliation.

There was an interesting discussion on Bill Maher this week. They were pointing out that, frankly, the pro Prop 8 people were just better organized than the prop 8 opposition. They did much more community out reach and grassroots campaigning, and so as a result the pro gay marriage ban people won the same way Barack Obama did, by community organizing.

As the guest pointed out, the pro gay marriage movement did absolutely no outreach to the black community, whereas the anti gay marriage people DID do a lot of campaigning and outreach to the black community. They spent millions of dollars campaigning among blacks and the pro gay marriage people spent almost nothing in black communities. It's kind of ridiculous for the pro gay marriage people to then be just shocked and appalled they lost the black vote.

At the end of the day, the pro gay marriage people lost because they did not run a good campaign and reach out to anyone except people already loyal to their cause. THEY are responsible for their loss, and like the Republican National Committee are wasting their time being outraged, when this is a time for some serious self reflection of their own inadequecy.

Never had a problem living and working amongst the hispanics in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They were family-oriented and had respect for the Lord (many of them). What drove me out were the pro-queer, new-age leftards in every corner of my workplace. In other words the WHITES were and are the problem. But don't worry. Just like the educational system in this country brainwashing white youth into adopting the liberal agenda, the hispanic and black youth will be lead like sheep to the slaughter. It'll happen eventually.

Greetings from a fellow Florida Democrat! (The REAL kind)
Hopefully, this election was the last victory of the jerks who highjacked our party.

Posted by: KHarn at November 16, 2008 8:41 AM

KHarn: Hope you're right, but I fear that Obama and his thugs are now moving to exclude anyone who does not meet his (and their) ultra-far Left standards (not just folks like Zell Miller and Joe "Fredo" Lieberman -- check out Curtis Sliwa's hilarious take on Al Capone's (er, Rahm Emmanuel's) "peace offering" to Joe the Independent on WABC radio/internet, from 11/13/08, I believe!).

[I like the Great One's "Al Capone" moniker for the new Chief of Staff, but in fact "Frank Nitti" might be better -- "The Enforcer," as Al's buddy Frank was known].

Soon, only full-bore Marxists need apply to the Dhimmicrat Party (which is all the better for us, since we might actually get the Reagan Democrats in 2010 and 2012, IF we will run truly "Reaganesque" conservative candidates the next two times).

Watching the Enlightened and Tolerant getting hoisted by their own petard is about as much fun as you can have with your pants on. Hurray for multi-culturalism! Open the borders!

Hey fellowes...

If you're from Santa Fe (or, as we used to call it in Albuquerque when I lived there, "Fanta Sey"), you might remember the great statue flap a few years ago. Remember when the Hispanics wanted to put up a bronze statue in the plaza in Albuquerque to memorialize Don Juan de Onate? And the local tribes protested (since he was so friggin' brutal to them. The bitching between the two over who was most oppressed was hilarious.

Hey Hiram, sorry I missed that one!
I vamoosed SF after having lived there just one year
(left in 2000). Loved the city and the climate but
got tired of having co-workers waltz in with mini-oija boards
swinging from their keychains and then claiming they couldn't possibly work in such 'n such a section due to the "energy not being good there" etc. and all that new age b.s. It's true
though, many of the "natives" are leftard as well and
sure would have loved to have witnessed the "oppression"
battles.

KHarn: Right back at ya! We'll see...

Hey, Well, Duh...:

Well, double duh!!

Do you live only amongst upper-middle class 18-30 year old white kids with rich parents, aka "trustifarians"? 'Cause it surely do sound like it to this Floridian. Newsflash: African Americans and Hispanics have extremely traditional values, as stated in this video. Marriage between a man and a woman, period. Gay marriage and whether or not it is "equal", politically correct, or a civil rights issue is of no concern to them, not even a blip on the screen. Like abortion, it is considered morally wrong, as stated in the Bible, and not worthy of a discussion. The only people in a froth about such things are (rich) white people...such as the LIBERAL Obama supporters!

African Americans and Hispanics were MORE than aware of the amendment, dearie, and they CHOSE to say "Yuck Fou" to their fellow Obama-ettes, as experienced here in the Sunshine state, where the King of all Media (with apologies to H. Stern) carried this formerly RED state by 3 points, and the Marriage Amendment passed with flying colors.

Gay folk were done in by their fellow party members. It may not be politically correct to say so for the Dums, but I have no such scruples.

jc14f, I enjoyed your post!
