Even the moonbats at MSNBC have a capacity for horror. Via NewsBusters, watch as militant lesbian Rachel Maddow recoils from the nefarious fantasies of Arianna Huffington, Queen of the Nutroots:
Puffington: Remember, [limited government] is the central philosophy of the Republican party. Grover Norquist [of the Americans for Tax Reform] also famously said we must drown government like a baby. So these people basically have no credibility anymore and yet they continue to be the ideological roots of the Republican party.
Madcow: He said he wanted to get government down to the size where he could drown it in the bathtub. Which made you imagine a baby. It made me imagine some sort of rogue squirrel that you trapped in the attic. That means that we're very different people.
Being a very different person from Arianna Nothington certainly gives Maddow something to take pride in.
A psychopathologist could write a whole book on liberals accusing their opposition of wanting to kill babies. Huffington's fantasy casts a disturbing light on Andrea Yates's popularity with Katie Cupcake types.
