Militant Homosexuals Attack Church Service in Michigan

A large gang of militant perverts has attacked a church congregation in Lansing, Michigan. Right Michigan reports:

On Sunday, November 9, 2008 Michigan liberals sat peacefully through announcements, worship and prayer for the sick, our nation and our President-elect before staging a coordinated, disgusting and repulsive attack on worshipers and the broader concept of the church itself at Lansing's Mount Hope Church.
The lefties were a part of a liberal organization known as Bash Back Lansing and their collection of radical blogs, including one of the state's most widely read "mainstream" progressive blogs (and none which will receive a link on this website) called on "queers and trannies" from across the state and the region to converge on Lansing for what they refer to as an "action."

Side note: "Direct action" is a tactic also favored by ACORN, the hard-left activist organization for whom our president elect personally trained brownshirts.

The goal of this particular action was made clear on a progressive blog:

"I can tell you that we are targeting a well-known anti-queer, anti-choice radical right wing establishment."

A little background on the "radical right wing establishment" in question:

Mount Hope, for the record, is an evangelical, bible believing church whose members provide free 24 hour counseling, prayer lines, catastrophic care for families dealing with medical emergencies, support groups for men, women and children dealing with a wide variety of life's troubles, crisis intervention, marriage ministries, regular, organized volunteer work in and around the city, missions in dozens of countries across the globe, a construction ministry that has built over 100 churches, schools, orphanages and other projects all over the world and an in-depth prison ministry that reaches out, touches and helps the men and women the rest of society fears the most. They also teach respect for all human life and the Biblical sanctity of marriage as an institution between one man and one woman.
This is what Michigan liberals label a "radical right wing establishment," and over 30 of them showed up in force [Sunday]. Wearing secret-service style ear pieces and microphones they received the "go" from their ringleader and off they went.
Prayer had just finished when men and women stood up in pockets across the congregation, on the main floor and in the balcony. "Jesus was gay," they shouted among other profanities and blasphemies as they rushed the stage. Some forced their way through rows of women and kids to try to hang a profane banner from the balcony while others began tossing fliers into the air. Two women made their way to the pulpit and began to kiss.
Their other props? I'll let them tell you in their own words… from another of their liberal blogs:
"(A) video camera, a megaphone, noise makers, condoms, glitter by the bucket load, confetti, pink fabric…yeh."
homosexual-goons.jpg
The video camera they put to good use as they attempted to provoke a violent reaction. The image of the pink-clad folks above is one of theirs, stating in a picture worth more than a thousand words the goals of the Michigan left.
The "open minded" and "tolerant" liberals ran down the aisles and across the pews, hoping against hope to catch a "right winger" on tape daring to push back (none did). And just in case their camera missed the target, they had a reporter in tow. According to a source inside the church yesterday there was a "journalist" from the Lansing City Pulse along for the ride, tipped off about the action and more interested in getting a story than in preventing the vandalism, the violence and anti-Christian hatred being spewed by the lefties.

Now that our Gramscian media has brought Change in the person of the Moonbat Messiah, progressives feel the time is right to subject what's left of our society to the full force of the savagery, intolerance, and depravity that characterize their unclean ideology. Civilization is literally under assault.

And then they opened fire on the congregation...

oh no wait, that's what CONSERVATIVES do to LIBERAL services.

LOL this page is great. With your whole couple dozen members. The most posted on thread still has no more than a couple dozen comments, and half of those are by "v to the k." Oh my gosh, you guys are really going to start the revolution. You're going to "save" America. All twenty of you.

Imagine what would happen if a group of Christians showed up at a gay rights rally doing the same thing. They would likely be jailed and charged with civil right violations or just beaten to death with leather belts and chains.

Just think if it involved a bunch of conservative christians SLIME,NEWSREEK,USSR NOOSE AND WORLD DISTORT,THE NEW YORK SLIMES,WASHINGTON COMPOST,ATLANTA URINAL CONSTIPATION,BS MORONS NEWS,DECAY,GOOD MORONS AMERIKA, would be blabbering about it for weeks

I don't even know how you people exist in the world. I may not agree with conservatives (and you people are NOT true conservatives. This site is for idiots, that's all), but I don't think they're BRAINWASHED, just they believe something that I do not, or vice versa.

But every single thread on this page states that anyone who doesn't think EXACTLY like you is insane and brainwashed.

If that is the case...how do you leave your house? I certainly wouldn't trust my life with a brainwashed person.

Pilots are part of a pilot's union. They approve of unions. That means, to you, they're brainwashed, how do you fly?

The American Medical Association, American Nurses Association, and the American Surgical Association are thee of the most influencial groups pushing for universal healthcare. Most health care professionals advocate universal healthcare. To you, this means they're brainwashed. How do you go to the doctor?

44% of the military voted for Obama. The military is increasingly comprised of African Americans. African Americans tend to vote Democratic. To you this means they are brainwashed. How do you trust the military to protect you if almost half of them are brainwashed?

Autoworkers are unionized and tend to vote democratic. That means to you they are brainwashed. How do you trust the cars they make for you to be safe?

So either you DO trust your lives with these people because you know you are lying when you say they are brainwashed as opposed to having a difference of opinion, or you are the stupidest people I can possibly imagine for putting your lives in the hands of those you believe to be clinically insane.

I think this event draws a nice contrast between the two Americas. One belives in God and service to fellow man; the other believes in buggery and social chaos.
I'm not sure I would've showed the same restraint as these congregants...

Posted by: PabloD at November 11, 2008 8:54 AM

Sites like Little Green Footballs and Michele Malkin are where most conservatives hang out. Moonbattery is a nice diversion but its not nearly as popular as those sites.

Why in hell would I want to hand out with shrill, self-righteous douchebags like Kidden?

Posted by: V the K at November 11, 2008 9:03 AM

Wow. Don't we have police in this country anymore? How is this okay - to attack a church service? Aren't there laws against this sort of thing? Wouldn't you call this a hate crime - to attack people merely because they think differently than yourself? Unbelievable. All those years of hearing "Yea, though I walk through shadowed vale", I never thought people would attack Christians in this country. I always thought it would be overseas. Talk about a paradigm shift.

Posted by: Nancy at November 11, 2008 9:04 AM

i'm pretty sure at least half the people at our church are packing...and one would be the police officer who attends services and sits in the back until he gets a call...

these dhimmitwits WILL mess with the wrong (or right) people one of these days and be extremely sorry.

God help them and u.s. for they know not what they do.

"And then they opened fire on the congregation...

oh no wait, that's what CONSERVATIVES do to LIBERAL services."

Any examples to prove this? Didn't think so. However, the Denver church shooting last year was an example of a liberal opening fire on a conservative congregation. Liberals on sites like DU, upon getting wind of what happened, expressed a great deal more sympathy for the killer than for his victims, and portrayed the brave security guard who risked her life to stop his rampage as a brainless lunatic!

"The most posted on thread still has no more than a couple dozen comments,"
You must not have looked very hard. I've seen threads on here with at least 80 comments.
I must applaud and salute the churchgoers for not rising to the bait and decking those perverted freaks. They clearly know what it means to bless those who curse them and pray for those who despitefully use them.
Mount Hope was a white church, wasn't it? I bet the perverts wouldn't have had the guts to do that at a black church (And black churches' members in places like California voted overwhelmingly in favor of the amendments which banned same- sex marriage).

Ask GM how the unions are going.

Having grown up in a GM town and having worked in the industry, I don't trust American made cars. Why? Because the union has destroyed an hope of quality by backing drunks and thieves over the honest worker and has become corrupt beyond belief. Because the leadership has shown loyalty only to their own pocketbooks rather than the customer and now liberals want to force the idea of doing away with "secret ballots" in union elections. That is government corruption meets union corruption in order to establish control over the working man in my mind. And yes, I consider that to be quite insane and sad. Secret ballot is the essence that empowers the common man/woman to change his circumstances as HE/SHE sees fit! That doesn't fit with our founding fathers plan either. Secret ballot is the common man's protection.

I think Kidden is starting to put together a picture of what he is. He can't even get get names right. "V to the K"?

Posted by: Daman at November 11, 2008 9:20 AM

Kidden: The difference here is that when conservatives behave in this fashion they are denounced by their fellows. When liberals behave in this fashion they are held up as an example for others to follow, by their fellows and the media (but I repeat myself). All "twenty" of us who post regularly here enjoy Van Helsing's take on these events and the views of the other commenters, even when we disagree. The popularity of the site in the grand scheme of things doesn't factor into anything - liberals care about what is trendy and popular, conservatives care about what works.

Anyway, just because a thread only has 20 or 30 comments doesn't mean that there aren't more people reading. Not everyone is comfortable putting their views out there for the world to see, even if they don't give their real name. We still believe in individual liberty here, which extends to the freedom to refrain from comment. :-)

Moonbattery is not about starting a revolution, or at least I never got that impression. "Revolution" is a favorite term of sixties-style radicals - much like the one we just elected - who can't think of any other way to orchestrate change without destroying what already exists. Moonbattery is about calling attention to the absurdities of modern liberalism as well as giving conservatives some reassurance that not everyone has gone completely off the rails to the left. There are still some of us who believe that capitalism and the free market work, that the Constitution still applies to citizens of the United States, that traditional families are still important, that small government is infinitely preferable to big government, and that freedom is the most important concept in governance. Yes, that means that people will say and do things we don't agree with, but in general we defend their right to be wrong. That is what is known as "tolerance." You may have heard that term before, but I do not think it means what you think it means. :-)

To close, I put out a call to action to all trolls. Keep it coming! Keep posting your absurd rants and your goofy conspiracy theories! Look, there are people who refuse to follow the path set down by the media and the liberal elite (I repeat myself again)! They need "Hope 'N' Change," stat! Keep trolling, for my sake if no one else's. I can use a good laugh.

What a bunch of loons. And they wonder why activism now has a bad name.

Posted by: Jaeson at November 11, 2008 9:25 AM

There was also some nut in Tennessee that shot up a liberal church because he hated liberals. They didn't so much mention that the shooter lived in a basement and hated Christians.

Which means he had more in common with Kostards than with Conservatives.

Posted by: V the K at November 11, 2008 9:27 AM

Ask GM how the unions are going.

GM is hemorrhaging money, much of it going to completely unproductive people it is forced by law to support. GM is stuck in a business model that worked in the 1950s, but is now obsolete. GM is locked into enormously expensive retirement and medical programs it can not possibly afford to pay. It would like to change in order to make itself a viable enterprise again, but it is blocked at every turn by unions, environmentalists, and government bureaucrats.

In other words, GM is in exactly the same condition the Federal Government is in.

Posted by: V the K at November 11, 2008 9:35 AM

Well stated Coder! Absolutely nailed the spirit of this blog and many others, and the heart of conservatism. I salute you.

V the K, you make a good point, unfortunately it is wasted on trolls who haven't been in touch with reality for some time and seem to cling to denial.

Posted by: HoosierArmyMom at November 11, 2008 9:39 AM

Coder you really hit on an important point, conservatives send their black sheep packing. We don't tolerate idiocy like liberals do. That's not to say we don't have our share of idiots, because we do, but again, they get pink slips.

I guess Kidden is tacitly supporting these perverts by using this post as his soap box to rail against the horrid folks at Moonbattery. His first and subsequent posts are absolutely drenched in irony, and I'd submit that he has no idea why we're laughing at him.

Posted by: cowlove at November 11, 2008 9:55 AM

p.s. - the stats for evangelicals who voted this past election was a whopping EIGHT PERCENT! and the gays want to blame their demise on them?!? they need to look into their own dark souls for the answers.

Posted by: nanc at November 11, 2008 9:55 AM

This "kidden" creep is the epitome of the ‘classic’ obamunist. What a ridiculous joke! He (it?) is so delusional, freaked out, and paranoid he (it?) is probably dangerous.

He (it?) is why conservatives arm themselves.

Posted by: Jimbo at November 11, 2008 10:27 AM

Some moonbat apologists claim there is no "gay agenda". Uh huh.

These fruity nut cakes violated the congregants freedom of assembly, protected by the first amendment. I'm not holding my breath for the ACLU to take action.

Posted by: Alan at November 11, 2008 10:32 AM

We should break down this "logic." I imagine these perverts feel oppressed by awful Christian bigots, right? So, instead of calm debate, reaching out to people they disagree with, or even friendly conversation, these disgusting freaks attack the people they disagree with. All they've done is encouraged sane people to harden their stance against their perversion. These perverts have ensured further disagreement, instead of overcoming it. And Christians are supposed to be the hateful ones. Right, got it.

learn oppressor oppresed dialectics.

the opppressor class can never be oppressed.
the oppressed class can never oppress the opressor class.
the oppressor class is always and never can change, even if they do nice, its only to preserve their status as opressors.

anything the oppressed class does to the oppressor class is just.

in this way, its not a hate crime, any more than a slave beating on their owner to be free would be seen as a hate crime.

now class... list out the oppressor classes that through this method, same as kristalnacht, will result in the extermination of the oppressors as a class and race...

basically what you get is a person who has to stand there and be beaten down... those doing the beating are free to do so as agents of the state so to speak... (police stand by). the minute the oppressor class attempts to defend itself (and preserve the oppression), they get arrested and the actual state steps in to keep the people acting on behalf of the ideology of the state not to be harmed.

basically its a refereed fight where one side is allowed to attack with will and malice and no repercusions, and the other side is held down with a pillow case on their heads being beaten and told it will be much worse if they dont take it.

political terrorism...

Looking at the "sitemeter" for this site, I see that it has on average almost 20,000 visits per week. Surely it can't be the same twenty people each visiting a thousand times a week? This is the first time I have commented here, so Kidden will have to adjust his estimate to twenty-one.

Keep up the good work, Van Helsing!

Salutari si toate cele bune din România!

Trying to eliminate what's left of Good and Decent America. They make them feel guilty for being the vile despicable depraved slime they know they are. It's always about guilt, they know the truth, just won't admit it. They think running the church off will make them feel better about themselves. Wait until they find out it won't work. LOL

Sites like Little Green Footballs and Michele Malkin are where most conservatives hang out.

Nice try, but I know plenty of people who steer clear of LGF due to its comment section which is always full of shady comments. LGF isn't even ran by a Conservative. Charles Johnson is a long haired, webdesigner from California - What are his views on abortion? or the right to bare arms? a smaller Government? Oh you don't know? I bet you know his position on "Islamic terror" right? one trick pony.

Posted by: xantl at November 11, 2008 2:55 PM

I used to frequent LGF, but not much anymore. He provides very little in the way of commentary or analysis, just links to other sites. (The commentary is what makes me a loyal reader of Moonbattery, by the way. If it were just a bunch of links, I could get them anywhere.)

Plus, the comments threads are invariably so long and crap-filled that I don't even look at them when I do visit. And then, there are certain subjects that cannot be discussed. If you even mention the Obama birth certificate litigation or the fact that Billy Ayers very likely ghost-wrote Obama's Dreams From My Father, he jumps down your throat and threatens to ban you.

Although I'm pleased to see Moonbattery steadily increasing in readership, I hope it's never as successful as LGF, where new subscribers are not allowed and some subjects generate comments that require multiple threads in excess of 1000 comments each.

Posted by: ent at November 11, 2008 3:20 PM

The nazis, fascists, communists, black radicals, women's libbers and neo-hippie American indians also started out by claiming to be "victimised" by those better off than themselves.

LGF turned me off a while back. When Johnson goes on a kick, he never lets up. The intelligent design debates pretty much turned into "let's all talk about how stupid Christians are" marathons. Way to divorce your readership, douchebag.

Why is it whenever one of these trolls comments negatively on this, or any other conservative blog, they resort to cheap insults about the blogger. But they never have any constructive comment about the topic or the post itself.

For example, Kidden's first comment was not "I disagree and here's why." But that you aren't genuine because you have just 12 people commenting.

So why is he checking out this site? Mommy must not be at home to tuck him in tonight, or he snuck out of bed to use the computer.

*sigh* Looks like the radicals think the revolution is here and their guy hasn't even taken the oath yet. Can we get a close-up on Obama when he does? I want to see if he crosses his fingers or stifles a laugh as he says "preserve, protect, and defend The Constitution Of The United States."

I really wish I could see this bright shining future that the MSM and folks like kidden envision. So what's the dosage? One tab of acid, or a whole handful?

If a group of Christians would have done this in a gay church they would have been charged under the new hate crime laws. Please tell me what good does it do to pick-it and attack a church. Church's don't make the laws, congressmen and senators do. Go pick-it them. This only shows a lack of direction.
