Keep the Change

Actually, the catastrophic election has produced one change for the better. McCain's name has finally come off McCain/Palin bumper stickers.

good lord- as an independent, all i can say is the same people who think palin should run are the same geniuses who were urging dan quayle to consider running some years ago.

you CANNOT be serious.

let her serve out disgraced senator ted stevens' term in the senate and serve in the senate.

100% of Democrats also want Palin to run in 2012.

It worked out really well for them last time- having the Governor of the biggest welfare state in the nation bemoaning socialism and welfare. And while your at it, have her running mate Joe the Plumber- a man who nationally denounced welfare who was then discovered to have been on welfare!!!

Come on Repubs. You have plenty of competant, respectable politicians on your side, including women, who are also successful, pro life feministis. You don't need to resort to a hypocrit like her for your ticket!!

hating sarah palin hfills the black void in my sole

Posted by: Anonymous at November 10, 2008 3:03 PM

Whoa Shana, where are your sources that gave you the idea Alaska is the largest welfare state in the nation? You're going to need facts and figures for that one.

While I'm thinking about it...

You're = You are
Your shows possession

YOU'RE (You are) mixing up the two and it makes YOUR (belong to you) posts seem like they were written by a kid. Maybe they were.

And let's be honest, if Dems really want her to run then why are they wasting no time bashing her along with the idea of her running in 2012? I seem to remember Republicans relishing the thought of running against Hillary, so you know what they did? They voted for her in the primaries! Tearing down your (belongs to you) perceived opponent is no way to actually get to compete against them. You'd realize that if you weren't so thick. It's common sense.

Oh and did you have a source for Joe's denouncement of welfare? A Youtube video even? Quote? Link? Anything?

Posted by: cowlove at November 10, 2008 3:07 PM

I think Shana sounds like someone who reads the Daily KOS and Huff Po too much and considers them as legitimate sources.

Wow... Sarah Palin returns money from the states oil revenues back to those who live there and she thinks it's welfare??? And Joe the Plumber addressed Obama's proposed tax plan...oh... wait, I guess that is taxpayer funded WELFARE.

Grow a brain and do some research Shana.

Posted by: HoosierArmyMom at November 10, 2008 4:16 PM

No matter who the Republicans nominate in 2012, the media will tag him or her as evil and stupid. The left hates patriots, Christians, and self-made people. Sarah Palin is all three.

Posted by: V the K at November 10, 2008 6:04 PM

And isn't funny? Sarah Palin is an accomplished hunter, a successful governor with an 80% approval rating, she's cleaned house in her own party, and she has an awesome family... and all these losers can do is post snide, catty comments on a blog about her.

Almost as funny as the way leftists have made a hero and a martyr out of a rogue cop who got drunk on duty, tasered a little boy and made death threats against his wife's family. Remember when the left used to hate the pigs? Or maybe Democrats just reflexively defend corruption and bad behavior these days.

Posted by: V the K at November 10, 2008 7:04 PM

The Leftards don't want to run against Palin in 2012 so they are trying to do a hatchet job on her now. I am putting my money on her, she's tough, smart and accomplished and will stand up to liberal lies and assumptions very well!

I hate what the Far Left has done to the Democrat Party and this country. Shrilling moonbats make me sick.

Posted by: HoosierArmyMom at November 11, 2008 9:03 AM

Sorry to agree with the leftist retards here, but what is it with Republicans recycling the rejects? 2008 people voted against a shit sandwich topped with a Palin pickle, 2012 move her to the front of the ballot?
If in 2012, the Republicans decide to run Sarah Palin be prepared for four more years of Barrack Obama.

Palin is tainted, move on and lets find some people that are actually electable.

Posted by: xantl at November 11, 2008 3:46 PM

speak for yourself, xantl. I'd vote for Palin in a skinny minute. That lady's got moxy.

STOP THE NORTH AMERICAN UNION STOP THE COMMING OF THE AMMARO we must oppose all this sinister plans by the evil CFR

Posted by: Spurwing Plover at November 11, 2008 7:40 PM

nobody:
I didn't say people wouldn't vote for her, however I did qualify: electable. The important question is, would people who didn't vote McCain, vote for Sarah Palin - not enough to win I don't believe.

Posted by: xantl at November 11, 2008 9:06 PM

Sarah Palin can definitely unite a country like no other politician. Both republicans AND democrats want her to be the republican nominee in 2012.

Obama will have an easier time in his re-election than he did last time. He wouldn't even have to pay to produce negative campaign ads, he would just replay her bumbling and stumbling interviews.

To all of the people that adore Palin, you have to understand that you are in the minority and unless a tape comes out with Obama enjoying little boys, she has absolutely no chance at winning. The sooner you can understand that, the sooner you can cut your losses and run someone like Huckabee/Romney/Pawlenty/Crist who actually would have a chance.
