Helen Jones-Kelley Wins Lying Democrat Pea Brain Award
Congratulations to Helen Jones-Kelley, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, a public servant who has actually done the public a service by warning us as to the sort of bureaucratic abuses we will face if Barack Obama is elected. When Joe Wurzelbacher incurred the wrath of Obamunists by asking an innocuous question that led to The One admitting to being a socialist, Ohio Dems came down hard, digging through government data for dirt on him at the behest of thuggish apparatchiks like Jones-Kelley:
Helen Jones-Kelley, Strickland's Ohio Department of Job and Family Services director, is trying to downplay her decision to authorize a background check on Wurzelbacher after McCain continued to refer to him while debating Obama.
Jones-Kelley maintains her agency routinely conducts background checks on individuals who come to its attention, often through the media like Wurzelbacher, to determine whether they owe child support, unemployment compensation, or back taxes or whether they are legally entitled to any public assistance they may be receiving.
So when Joe the Plumber became a household name, Jones-Kelley had her agency check him out.
She explains this in a three-page letter to Ohio Senate President Bill Harris, R-Ashland, who outlined questions of his own in a letter to [Democrat Governor Ted] Strickland and the director.
''I would never authorize or turn a blind eye to accessing departmentally maintained databases for any nongovernmental purpose,'' Jones-Kelley notes.
But unless gutter politics counts as a governmental purpose, Jones-Kelley is lying. The clear objective was to dig up information to discredit Joe the Plumber in the public's mind.
This is disturbing, because her department is huge and has loads of extremely personal information about families and individuals in its databases. No agency in state government should be more cautious than Job and Family Services when it comes to protecting identities and privacy.
Needless to say, Jones-Kelley is an Obamunist.
State Rep. Bill Batchelder, R-Medina … points out that Jones-Kelley contributed $2,300 to Obama's presidential campaign, which at the least creates an unacceptable perception of political motivation.
In recognition of the valuable warning provided my Ms. Jones-Kelley, it is my honor to present her with the Lying Democrat Pea Brain Award, compliments of Hugh:

Isn't "lying Democrat" redundant?

Gee...and she's black. Of course, it couldn't POSSIBLY be racially motivated. No. It's only racist if you question anything The Messiah has to say.
Can you imagine if this were the other way 'round? The NY Times and TV media would call it a "lynching".
The retribution that conservatives (and especially white conservatives) are going to have heaped on them if "O" is elected will be horrific.

What was it the moonbats were saying about REPUBLICANS authorising spying on Americans?
Oh yeah, they said "no one is safe" and "it's criminal".
But THIS is OK because it helps Obama, right?

The funniest upshot of the whole Joe the plumber thing is hearing DUmmie (Democrat/leftist/socialist/douchebag-in-general) dissembling. I've determined a pattern in it; it goes something like:
-Joe the plumber didn't prove Obama is a socialist
-McCain/Palin are more socialistic than Obama because of (x, y, z random talking-point relating to supposed corporate welfare or what-have-you)
-McCain and Palin are socialists so if you (conservative) support them you are unpatriotic.
It's incredible. Firstly none of them can demonstrate that Obama didn't mean precisely what he said and that that his comment was a verbatim repetition of a fundamental, basic entry-level tenet of socialism. Secondly they can't handle any criticism of their guy without having to knee-jerk their way into turning it back onto the opposition and claiming that the opposition is more (whatever negative trait is being discussed). Then thirdly opposing their guy on the basis of his words is assigned a random emotive negative; in this instance lack of patriotism (although that is confusing, the taxes/wealth-spreading = patriotism juxtaposition does seem to be a common one this election season, I guess they couldn't very well contrive distaste for higher taxes into racism, or they would have done so.)
And yet throughout the entire process the leftard douchebag doing the arguing will overlook the fact that not only are Obama's ideas uniformly and overtly socialistic in nature (ranging from mild Scandinavian-style socialistic principles to fairly extreme black liberation or Chavez-esque, but that's not the point); more incredibly that these are precisely the sort of things they actually support Obama for - free healthcare, higher corporate taxes, etc., right down to his smallest policy initiative - not only this but they overlook the fact that many - even most - of them are, personally, avowed democratic socialists who model their ideal system of government on places like Sweden, and are never shy in the least in letting people know this.
In essence Obama's supporters are prepared to oppose what are puportedly their own stated beliefs, which they defend vehemently and frequently, in order to support their candidate; and then spin those same beliefs not only into a trait that is actually held by the opposition but one that is a negative against the opposition, and which should be opposed on the groundsof patriotism. Such is the malleability of their belief systems and their dedication to the cult of personality; they are willing to disavow the very things they believe in most strongly and claim they are unpatriotic in an effort to deflect criticism from their Leader and to fight the opposition.
I really do think I would need a shower after doing that, if I were capable of doing it at all.

I work for ODJFS, so HJK is my boss. Yes, she's obviously lying and you don't need to work at my agency to know that. But - and I hate to break this to you - this entire thing has nothing to do with Obama or the election. The Child Support director (who is a white male republican) is a moron and looking up Joe is just one of his many, many, many fuck ups. But because of Joe's ties to the election (and only real reason for his 15 minutes), this fuck up made the paper and since HJK brought him on board (one of her many, many, many fuck ups) she had to take the blame for him. My co-workers and I are just glad that now some of their fuck ups are no longer going unnoticed. But the election, obama, and mccain had nothing to do with it. And don't think for a second "oh, you poor, naive, misguided soul." i know more dirt than u can possibly imagine. i know proper punctuation, too. i'm just lazy when i'm off the clock.
