Exit Poll Reminder

As the great Yogi Berra put it, "It ain't over till it's over."

Polls historically err in favor of Democrats. This is particularly true of exit polls.

The mainstream media has become for all intents and purposes the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. Using polls, it will try to convince you Obama has won before the votes have been counted. The point will be to suppress the conservative vote, not only for President but also for crucial congressional races and propositions.

Don't spend the rest of your life knowing you didn't vote against the catastrophic disgrace of Barack Obama becoming President of the USA and Commander in Chief of our armed forces. Get to the polls, no matter what they tell you.

Hat tip: American Thinker; on a tip from Byron.

Comments

Just got back, stood in line 2 hours (glad I took a book). None of your business who I voted for, exit pollers (but I bet some of ya here can guess).

I voted for John Galt. Seriously. Not in a state that is up for grabs so I figured, WTF.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 4, 2008 11:16 AM

As a matter of fact I did wear my "Who is John Galt?" T-shirt today.

Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at November 4, 2008 11:19 AM

That's why I voted for Chuck Baldwin. I live in Illinois, where Obama is polling about 20 points ahead of McCain. In this state, voting Republican buys you about as much as voting for any 3rd party - that is, not much.

Posted by: Rob Banks at November 4, 2008 11:22 AM

Seriously considered voting for Cynthia McKinney. I live in a retardedly blue state, so my vote doesn't count, and even if it did, ACORN is going to cancel it with a vote from Fakey McNotarealvoter anyway.

I also voted 'NO!' on legalizing slots and 'Hell No!' on amending the state constitution to make vote fraud easier.

By 2012, I pray to God I will have decamped to a swing state.

so when Senator Obama DOES win, what are most of you commenters, and especially the purveyors of this website, going to do? move to Canada and continue to peddle your vitriol with a French accen?

Posted by: centrist at November 4, 2008 11:32 AM

If he wins, we will present intelligent arguments against his policies, and support our elected representatives in opposing them. No different than we would do under a McCain administration.

One of the wonderful things about being on the right is that our personal happiness is not tied to the success or failure of any political figure. For the next four years, we are still going to be happier, on balance, than our seething counterparts on the left... regardless of how much medication they take.

Anybody see this?...

Karl Rove is projecting Obama to win by a margin of 338-200 electoral college votes.

"centrist"

LOL! What an oxymoron. Or purhaps, just a moron!

If Obama wins, he'll be cannon fodder for blogs like this! It will double our fun!

Posted by: Jimbo at November 4, 2008 11:54 AM

And this guy, whoever he is, is persuasively predicting a solid victory for McCain:

Toast

Warning, it's a very long read.

Posted by: ent at November 4, 2008 12:05 PM

I hope the optimists are right and McCain snatches victory from the jaws of defeat. But Im not counting on it.

It feels alot like 1932 Germany.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 4, 2008 12:05 PM

move to Canada

No, only childish narcisstic liberals (but I repeat myself) threaten temper tantrums of that sort. Unfortunately, they never make good on their threats to move elsewhere.

I'm hoping against hope that McCain pulls this off, first and foremost to save the country from a dusky Jimmy Carter knock-off, but also for the orgasmic joy of watching liberals' do something they haven't done since they wore diapers.

There are so many worrisome trends in the U.S. that I actually visited some New Zealand websites recently to see what their immigration policy was like (the only English-speaking country that I could think of that might not already be overrun by moonbats or muslims). They're very restrictive. It seems that they only want healthy, able-bodied, educated, employable, i.e., potentially productive, people to immigrate there.

What a concept.

Jay Guevara - "dusky"? Why don't you just come right out and say what I'm sure you're thinking? The older I get, the more conservative I get, at least fiscally, but your type of hate has no place in America. Except on this blog, I guess.

Posted by: centrist at November 4, 2008 1:03 PM

ent, excellent read. I hope that guy is right. Im not in love with McCain but Obama is a nightmare.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 4, 2008 1:09 PM

Considering that Canada, along with Sweden, Italy, France and Germany, has elected a center-right government, that might not be the worst idea I've heard all day.

However, it's not necessary. The US, along with the rest of the western world, is also trending to the right, for the simple reason that, due to abortion and support for "alternative" lifestyles, such as gay marriage, lefties aren't reproducing at the same rates as their conservative brethren (liberals, per 100 couples, produce an average of 182 children, as opposed to 202 children for conservatives). Given that 80% of children grow up to vote the same as their parents, it's a pretty comfortable bet the US will continue to trend to the right.

Enjoy your success while you can. This election is a fluke facilitated by dissatisfaction with the Bush administration, and the Republican party, not due to their being conservative, but due to their not being conservative. Over the long haul, you're going to be looking at a conservative future, all throughout Western civilization. Have fun!

Um, how is "dusky" hateful? If there were a naive, arrogant, incompetent Marxist with red hair running, I am guessing it would not be hateful to refer to him as a red-haired Jimmy Carter. But then, I have common sense.

Posted by: V the K at November 4, 2008 1:15 PM

In truth, the United States has not had a conservative president in 20 years. Some people see this as a seismic shift to the left. I find it tough to believe that after a century of failure, Marxism is finally going to work and improve people's lives.

Chairman O is riding to office on a wave of voter fraud and illegal campaign donations, and this corruption will continue once in office. The record of community organizers elevated to offices to which they were not qualified ... John Street, Marion Barry, Kwame Kilpatrick, Sharon Pratt Dixon... is not encouraging on this score. And I expect we will have much to talk about over the next four years.

Posted by: V the K at November 4, 2008 1:21 PM

Chairman O hasn't won yet, and there are positive indicators that McCain is going to pull this one out.

Posted by: Naqamel at November 4, 2008 1:35 PM

Jay Guevara - "dusky"? Why don't you just come right out and say what I'm sure you're thinking?

I already did say exactly what I was thinking. Try to keep up.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at November 4, 2008 2:18 PM

If Obama wins, the only hope (no pun intended) for our country is that Obama continues the pattern of DOING NOTHING that was the standard of his political career. But there's little chance of that. Even if he does do nothing, Liberals and blacks will want to re-elect him because not doing so would be admitting that they were WRONG and that Obama is really a NOTHING and a NOBODY who failed to deliver.

If B.O. loses, he can go the Al Gore route and become an even BIGGER public figure than a "mere president"!

Posted by: KHarn at November 4, 2008 2:33 PM

If Obama wins, champagne bottles will pop in the homes of every dictator around the world.

Posted by: cerulean1 at November 4, 2008 3:11 PM

V the K - plese present your evidence regarding voter fraud and illegal campaign contributions. not hearsay, not wishful thinking, hard evidence...

nothing? ok. everyone please enjoy your sour grapes, and stop kidding yourselves that Obama is a Marxist or socialist. check back in 4 years and see what kind of shape this great country is in.

Posted by: centrist at November 4, 2008 9:19 PM

Centrist... you guys won. Just drop it, ok?

Posted by: nobody at November 4, 2008 9:48 PM

fair enough - consider it dropped. i hope we can all pull together and turn around the economy's current woes. kudos to Senator McCain on being a tough opponent.
