Single Stack brings up the best point, I think: President-elect Obama either thinks he is so awesomely superior that every "typical white person" in the country is out to annihilate him, or he has plans up his sleeve which he knows WILL actually cause the general populace to rise up against him. Otherwise, he would just use the armoured cars already available.

I suspect it is a combination of both. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I think that Chairman O and his bevy of fellow Koo-Aid swilling moonbats think that they are above even the standards they themselves set for everyone else because they think that they are doing 'good' for the 'ignorant masses' (workers) and that the ends justify the means.

Most people know the President, whovever or whatever he is, needs to be protected but one would think he would at least have limos that run on liquid hydrogen or something thats non polluting.

Obama is a typical politican from Chicago, so expect lots of hypocrasy and doing the opposite of what he campaigned on saying things like "Well, things have changed since then." The press will bow before him not uttering anything more token criticism to appear impartial.

Actually, I'm loving the reversals. In his first press conference after his first national security briefing, Chairman Zero looked like a deer in the headlights as if to say, "What the hell did I just get myself in to?" He's not a stupid man. He knows that he's going to have to break most of his promises in order to prevent the country from imploding.
