Bong Hits Punk Gets $45,000
Remember the snot-nosed punk with the "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" sign? The case has been settled at last:
In a free speech case that reached the nation's highest court, the Juneau-Douglas School District and former student Joseph Frederick have reached a settlement.
Frederick was suspended during a 2002 Olympic torch relay for holding up a banner that read "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" while standing across from the high school.
Last year, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of the school's position that Frederick celebrated the illegal use of drugs. The district will pay Frederick $45,000. In exchange Frederick will drop remaining claims not heard by the U.S. Supreme Court.
After nearly seven years of wasting everyone's time, he's ruled to be wrong and still gets a payoff. If it's this bad now, imagine the judicial lunacy in store for us after four years of judges appointed by the Moonbat Messiah.

Frederick was the one with the banner that stated bong hits for Jesus, Frederick was paid 45 thousand because his constitutional rights were subverted because the church took offense of his message.

Here's an idea - don't watch them or listen to them! There is a plethora of other "news" stations out there. I am sure you could manage to find one that presents "news" in a manner that you find pleasing.

THAT was the school's complaint and it was ruled CORRECT. However, "bong hits" recieved a settlement for OTHER "damages", that is clear to anyone who understands lawsuits and the workings of our courts.
