Ann Curry Fails
Climb every mountain, is the moonbat can-do creed — except the high ones, because someone might get hurt:
The "Today" show's Ann Curry didn't make it to the top of Africa's Mount Kilimanjaro.
Altitude sickness and forbidding weather forced the NBC morning show's crew to stop about 3,000 feet short of the 19,000-foot summit. They were climbing to draw attention to environmental problems, and hoped to hit the top for Friday's show.
Curry reported to her "Today" show colleagues Thursday that she was heading back down.
Said Curry: "Here's the bottom line: I just did not want to live with any one of us having any kind of serious injury just to get us live from the top of this mountain. It just wasn't worth it."
But that's okay, Ann…
Said anchor Matt Lauer: "We're all proud of you and the team."
Global warming hoaxers have been trying to exploit Mount Kilimanjaro, because some are uninformed enough to think its shrinking ice has to do with the nonexistent global warming crisis. The actual cause is deforestation of the surrounding area.

On a tip from Warren E.

Ummm.. altitude sickness at 3000 feet?

Moonbats: excelling at mediocrity since 1968.
Posted by: Jaeson at November 24, 2008 10:51 AM
That's altitude sickness at 3,000 feet from the summit, which would put them at 16,000 feet.
Nothing wrong with them turning around; in this particular instance, I think the moonbats actually did the right thing. When I lived in Yosemite, I took a day hike to the top of Half Dome (about 8,800 feet), and I puked all the way down with a massive headache to boot.

Douglas, what part of "3,000 feet short of the 19,000-foot summit" did you not understand? Your ignorance is so embarrassing that even your fellow wingnuts are calling you out. And Jaeson, what has your pudgy ass accomplished lately?

The DECAY SHOW i dont even bother watching it its like the rest of the liberal left-wing news media since 96% of it is lies and half-truths
Posted by: Spurwing Plover at November 24, 2008 12:19 PM
I'm with spurwing....There are much better sources of information out there than Laim stream media. She should have at least gotten into shape before she even made the attempt. Her fault for being a dumbass. Librals.....bless their hearts for naturally being over zealous and down right out of touch. Gotta love em' they are Gods children ya' know. HA!
Posted by: Watching at November 24, 2008 12:46 PM
Hey Watching, it's Liberals, not "librals", not to mention several other misspelled words in your post (not even including "gotta" and "em"). Maybe dropping out of school in the 4th grade wasn't such a great idea...

Posted by: Murff at November 24, 2008 1:02 PM
Take it easy MikeTheMoonbat. I'm doing three things at once and having fun. Never typed well anyway. The 4th grade knock....pretty good. I do have my degree so your knocks don't bother me much but thanks for the help. I'll proof read a little more carfully. Oh yea if you don't like the way I spell then don't read what I type. Thanks again LIBERAL.
Posted by: Watching at November 24, 2008 1:19 PM
ooops!! I didn't spell carefully right. Damn Mike you need to be looking for this kind of stuff. Where is the spell check! Tell me where it is. I want Mike to be happy!

Looks like Dino (MikeTheLiberal) has been resurrected from the land of Commie Pinko Trolls.
Van, What about my request to make a post with a catalog all the banned trolls and a sampling of their moronic verbal diarrhea?
Posted by: Doug at November 24, 2008 2:09 PM
Sorry Doug, not Dino. Many "moonbats" are now reading this blog, I heard about it from a friend shortly after the election. It's damn good entertainment!
Posted by: MikeTheMoonbat at November 24, 2008 2:22 PM
Doug,
It's a good idea. Definitely under consideration, for when I get myself caught up on the excellent tips people have been sending.

Way to spell Mickey! Nice diction as well. What do you find so amusing about this sight? I like watching you guys get pissed when the truth is exposed. Complete denial is your rule of thumb here. You crumbs call for unity and yet you come here with your gloating and personal attacks. Tell me, is that what amuses you? I found this site on my own through the Savage Nation Web site. That's the problem with you LIBERALS you have to reley on other LIBERALS for your information because you can't find it for yourselves. All you guys need is a few shepards and the rest of you become aimless sheeple. BAAAAAAH! BAAAAAH! Hope you satisfied with my spelling.

When I lived in Yosemite, I took a day hike to the top of Half Dome (about 8,800 feet), and I puked all the way down with a massive headache to boot.
Some of my buddies in the USAR did the same hike. It's a bear, isn't it? But, for my money, there are few other places in North America as beautiful and majestic as Yosemite.
Half Dome would be hard a hard hike on anyone, I don't care how good a shape you're in. We did well but when you're in the service, you have to stay in top form whether you like it or not. But I was wiped out when we got back down. :-)
A bunch of sedentary Today Show hacks should not have even attempted it.
Not that I care much for moonbats like Ann Curry, but taking moonbattery to a dangerous extreme to attempt to prove an obvious fiction (GW) is, in itself, an example of prime moonbattery.
I wonder how many unfortunate shirpas had to carry Ann's out of shape behind up and down the mountain?
Hope they got hazard pay.
Posted by: Mike at November 24, 2008 2:59 PM
Geez, Ann, sorry you didn't make it to the summit. Since you didn't, there no "news" involved here (and even had you made it, I don't see much in the way of "news," either). So, shut the hell up and come on home.
Try Everest or K2 next time, sweetheart; should you hit the summit on either of those, THAT would truly be news. Til then, I don't care to hear a word from you.

And Jaeson, what has your pudgy ass accomplished lately?
My pudgy ass has recently published a book. My pudgy ass is currently researching three more books that I am writing simultaneously. My pudgy ass is also currently pursuing a degree in 3D Animation.
How about yours?
Posted by: Jaeson at November 24, 2008 4:14 PM
Well you know what Jeason? I'm going for a degree in interpersonal communication, that's right buddy so you better watch out for my literary works. Did I mention I just did a google search for something that interests me, so basically I'm researching a book too.

This particular brand of liberal idiocy extends all the way to the top of the Nothing Broadcasting Company, who in their infinite wisdom sent one of their reporters (calling them journalists would be an insult to journalists) to the top of a very high mountain... and gave her a whole three weeks to prepare for the journey. And then insisted that the journey be completed by a hard date to coincide with the end of sweeps week. Mountain climbing is treacherous work for a multitude of reasons, and is not the sort of thing you want to rush through, for the reasons cited in the article. Actually, I applaud the crew for getting as far as they did under those circumstances, even if they were sent for a BS reason.
I also like that the anchors in the studio kept pulling her back to the global warming scare storyline when she was talking about the pain and altitude sickness suffered by the crew. They effectively ignored the story of real human suffering right there in front of them in favor of scaremongering human suffering that may come to pass someday or not at all. Who cares that you are feeling pretty poor right now and are cheating death to get to the top of the mountain by the end of sweeps, how's the ice look? That's liberal compassion in a nutshell. And they say conservatives are uncaring? Good Lord!

Mike,
Yeah, the Half Dome hike is mean. Really only in two stretches though; the 'steps' as you get close to Vernal Falls (taller than they are deep, most of 'em), and the cables up to the summit.
I lived there and I thought it was a bitch. For some sedentary hacks to make it to 16k, even if it was a long low grade, well that impresses me with both their determination and their stupidity. Good post.
BTW, Yosemite is a moonbat magnet/mecca, and trust me... they're not that bright. The absolute ignorance of anything natural among the "nature" types gives me hilarious memories to this day.

Hopefully you're not using Wikipedia.

Were we going for quality? Here i was thinking that we were thinking to glut the market with many bad books in the hope that at least one would be picked up "A study of 3D animation learning and the road to a highly esteemed degree"
Posted by: Jaeson for Nobel!! at November 24, 2008 7:52 PM
Ann who?
So if a moonbat falls down the side of Mount Kilimanjaro and no rational person is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

So, what are your beloved welfare mothers doing with their time? Are the one's who are generational leeches accomplishing anything other than increasing their broods to help her leech off the system more?
Why don't you moonbats focus your time on helping those in your own 'house' to get their act together so that they can become productive members of society and not further drains.
Oh, wait! That's the government's job, according to moonbat logic.
Personal initiative is something you mock because you are probably a leech abusing the government benefits for people who need them as a leg-up and not a hand-out.
How else can you be on the Web and spam this site with your hilarious insane moonbattery all day and night?
If you're doing this on your company's time, then you are even more useless than I thought.

I only suggest people don't through around 3d degrees like they are the big cheeze

Is that the best you can do is to give insults for answers to questions? Small minds give very weak answers. You're a poor soul with a small and weak mind. Find some help. You waste my time.Angry LIBERAL. Oh Yea could you say all your garbage in person or you just a big shot on a key board? What say you?
